At Shibuya station in Japan, there's a statue of Hachiko. He is admired all over Japan as an example of loyalty.
There is a legend that if you arrange to meet someone there, they will absolutely show up.
I believe at this point, Hachi is admired by many across the world.
at Ueno museum have his body there. please visit both place, what a honor visit this dog
Wasn't the statue melted ?
@@user-qv4nu9zo9k In WW2, the statue was melted down for the metal, but after the war, a new statue was made.
The fact that this movie is actually true makes me smile and cry in the same time
0:09 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
😮
Tears rolled out from my eyes...an animal showed us the path of how much we should care of our loved one's while living the life and after life too.....Care, love and respect so much before they die.. a masterpiece and magnificent story. it is literally one of my most loved films somewhere around top 3 sure. this story touched my heart very softly and hardly.. will never forget this story ever. 😢
I cried like baby in 2013 when i watched for first time for 3 days. And now after 10 years again I'm crying.
I don't even think it's possible to make a sadder movie than that 😭 could watch it a billion times and would still hit me like a train.
no nothing comes close to this
At 60 years old, I've lost my grandparents - my mother - my sister - 40 years of cats - all my aunts & uncles and my two best life-long friends.....but NONE OF THOSE LOSSES OBLITERATED ME like the loss of my dog four years ago. Buckle up, young ladies.....I wish you well in the future when you have to say goodbye to your beloved canine friend. 💔
We really don’t deserve dogs man that’s just how loyal dogs are❤
I love how Laura trying so hard to keep silence to let Viki to experience the story on her own. You two are the most gorgeous sisters in the world and having the beautiful souls. Love you.
thank you💛💛
The love given by dogs and cats is unconditional. Most human love can match the pure and unconditional love of animals. I have been reading about Hachi for the last 10 years and even today, never get tired of reading about the love of Hachi.
Guys this movie is just about the most pure love any being can offer. Makes me CRY every damn time!
My heart breaks every single time, when I see "Old Hachi" slowly walking down the sidewalk after 10 long years of waiting at the station.
😭
70 years to a dog
I can never watch this movie without crying. Hell, even thinking about some of the scenes makes the tears creep up. It's such a beautiful movie and I love it to death. I just absolutely can't handle it without breaking into pieces.
yes it's ok feelings comes from God everything comes from God this is love
This is real love
the strongest emotion on the planet
Loved the reaction. Laura, I feel for you.. you tried very hard not to let Viki know when the saddest parts were coming..well done. If you care about animals ( pets specifically ), this movie will just rip out your soul. I love that your whole group is animal lovers!! Have a wonderful day.
i lost my beloved dog edie just before christmas. we were inseperable for 9 years. i miss her dreadfully every day. lovely & heartfelt reaction.x
I'm so sorry for your loss. He loved and still loves you very much.
There is currently another statue of Hachiko meeting with its owner in Tokyo.
Yes. It's at the university where Hachi's owner worked as a professor.
Great reaction!!!👍👍👍 Thank you for making me cry!!!😥😥😥 Hachi was so cute!!!❤️❤️❤️ I just love cats and dogs so much!!!👏👏👏
When she finds him sitting there at the train station after all this time.....that just killed me...absolutely killed me from the inside out.
I’m a cat person but this movie always makes me cry and when I realised it was a true story I just😪I’ve had the most loyal of cats growing up, and when a cat picks specifically you to love out of everyone it’s just so special, this movie makes me think about my old kitty passing and it’s so hardd losing pets :(
Cats are my favourite too and I always owned some since I am an adult, but I love dogs too. And yeah, it's always tough to lose them(lost a cat last year after 17 years together and he was my favourite of all of them 😢), but it's even tougher imagining them losing you and not knowing what happened, like in this movie. It just rips my heart out every time, that poor thing!! 😭😭
I really shouldn't have watched this on my lunch break. I work armed security and now the guys are all laughing at me because my eyes are red and I've been crying the last 10 minutes.
🙈 Were you already familiar with the movie? If not, then you can't be faulted -- but if so, you have only yourself to blame!
If there is one movie on Earth that will assuredly make me cry.... it's HACHI. Period. Never fails to bring the water works.
You should watch "Grave of the Fireflies" next, that's another guaranteed tear-jerker.
29:53 … seeing how slow he walks and how old he’s gotten just hurts my heart
Hey ladies a great heartfelt reaction ❤😊 the next beautiful dog story I recommend watching is Marley and Me if you ladies haven't seen it yet 🙂
Animals are amazing. Thank you ladies for this reaction video . I needed a good cry .
This is a true story from Japan (originally). It is so heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. This is like an atomic bomb to the feels
Poor choice of words my friend. Just saying.
NO shit sherlock.
Ur not slick buddy
Do you choose your words more appropriately in public?
日本からです。
原子爆弾を映画の感想の例えにするなど、日本人の感情を逆撫でして大変不適切です。
映画「Hachi」に対する感想と多くの民間人の命を奪った原子爆弾を一緒に語るなど不謹慎極まりない!
This is a great movie to put on when you need a good cry and if you're a pet owner, it makes you appreciate your pets even more
Laura and Viki, thank you for watching and reaction to the movie about Hachi. The story is true, emotional and incredible. I discovered this movie because of Magy and Laura reaction. How is possible that so many years I didn't know about Hachi. Now this movie is one of my favourite and I like to watch sometimes. Greetings and hugs xx
Dramatic story of a dog's devotion is emotionally intense.
I didn't even see the whole movie (I don't have easy access to it, so my first view was just a reaction; one with good complete movie segments but still "just" a reaction video)... and it STILL made me cry at least three times during my first watch of that reaction video. But I also wondered to myself why I didn't cry even harder than I did, given how objectively sad it was... and I got my answer later that night when I noticed how thoughts of the movie were intruding into my brain AND I finally noticed that I was involuntarily pushing them away (because they were too painful). Knowing very well it's not healthy to "repress" like that... I voluntarily let myself feel and process it... and yeah, that resulted in one of THE hardest cries of my life.
That repeated upon my second and third reaction videos... then after that I could actually watch a reaction without crying, so I thought I might be all cried out.
But then a couple days later, I see this reaction and it pulls more tears from me!
I have not seen this movie for a long time. My dog, Edgar, was alive at the time and watched me cry a slobbering mess. He has been gone now for 8 years. Two years ago I got a rescue dog named Tumbleweed. There are certain times when Tumbleweed looks at me, and I swear I see Edgar, almost like he came back to me. This movie made my heart hurt to the core of my soul. When I had to make the choice to put Edgar down, I never cried like that, it was convulsive. Today is Mother's Day. I always say that losing my mom was the worst day of my life. Losing Edgar, making that choice after almost 15 years of adventures, joy, and love, was the hardest day of my life. Watching the reaction from this movie and these two girls was like watching it all over again, so yes, I have balls of Kleenex all around me. It is such a beautiful movie and delivers the true heart and spirit of a loyal and loving dog like Hachi.
I love this movie. I own it on blu-ray, but I can't watch it very often.
I inally visited Japan not long ago,and one of the first places I made sure to see was the Hachiko Shrine outside Shibuya Station, right beside the huge scramble-crossing.
It's the most popular meeting place in Tokyo.
Aparrently, agreeing to meet someone there amd then not showing up is supposed to be very bad luck.
The loss of a dog is a very singular kind of anguish, pain & sorrow. There is nothing else like it. I had to put my beloved Yorkie down nearly four years ago and I still miss him and grieve for the loss of him every day. A huge part of the best of me died along with him. I keep Petey's ashes beside my bed. Daddy loves you, Petey....and always will.
❤
You both are very charming and I like your channel because... because you made me cry at Hachiko when you both cried.
Not even my worst injury hurt as much as watching you two cry!^^D I like you.
This movie breaks anyone who sees it even the toughest people will cry their eyes out.such a beautiful story.😢
I sobbed like a baby because I know and understand what it means to love an animal or animals in my case! For me, my cats Cory and Simon lived to be 13 and 18 years old, I had them when they were just kittens! I had them because I suffer from ptsd, anxiety, and depression from being bullied and teased from kindergarten to my senior year in high so I dealt with this from age 5 to 18! My cats were my friends and therapy animals and when they died I was devastated! Animals are a wonderful gift from Almighty God! I miss them to this day! Even though my story is different from the man who died in the movie, it's similar because Hachi was devastated when his owner was gone, mine is the other way around! Animals are wonderful creatures! I recommend watching a movie called Turner and Hooch with Tom Hanks!
I’ve seen this movie 4 times and I still love it and rewatch it it’s in my favourites on Netflix
when you think about it... a year to a dog is equivalent to 7 human years.. he waited 10 human years, so he waited for 70 years of his life.
About 8 years ago, a new bronze statue was built on the campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture, where a university professor who was Hachiko's owner was enrolled. Hachiko was finally able to meet his owner.
ruclips.net/video/3BatTUqnx_8/видео.html
A beautiful, but heartbreaking true story.
I watched Hachiko maybe hundred times and cried a hundred times as well. huhuhu
In 2015, a bronze statue of Hachiko and the professor who met again in heaven was erected on the campus of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tokyo. It is a statue that brings tears to your eyes. A real stuffed Hachiko is on display at a museum in Tokyo.
A tear jerker to be sure. The dog's 🐕 acting performance rivals that of the dog 🐕 that played the Thing in John Carpenter's 1982 classic, The Thing. Hachi's tale is just a "tad" more sentimental. 🙂
I cried a lot with this movie, tears came to my eyes from emotion, I love dog movies very much and I also hope you will make a video reaction to the Dog movie of the year 2022, I also cried a lot because a relative had the same as that dog in the movie and later passed away 😭
One thing I will say, for anyone out there who is thinking about watching or rewatching this movie, bring a BIG box of tissues. Just a tip .
I think the reason this affects people so hard is that you can get unconditional love from animals, but very rarely do you get it from other people.
This is one of the very few movies I come back to for a reminder that I can cry like a damn baby
Dogs are the most precious friends in the world
Poor Laura. You did a great job, girl. I know it was difficult for you having seen it already.
And Viki... well, I'm here to watch this video with you for my 3rd and hopefully last time.
I know you'll feel all of it and it's a rough one.
Everything becomes famous in Tokyo. However, at a train station in a local city, Taro has been waiting for his master for 17 years.
I have a dog, I would give my life for him and think of losing him or him losing me, IT IS TOO PAINFUL.. I think that the love that is born between a man and a dog is the highest expression of love.
1:38 Lauras face goes through whole movie in few seconds. lovely to see her watching and having experience with sister.
Such a great sad film, had me in tears, true film 😭
In Japan, there is a story that says that dead animals cross the Rainbow Bridge and wait until someday to meet their owners.

Me agrado su reaction a hachiko. Un abrazo virtual ala distancia, las saludo de latam Perú, bellas ladys. ✌️👋💕
ooo wow how I break to see vicky and laura cry 😭 with this incredible story of hachi!! I love puppies!! They are the best!! They give the love that many bad people do not give I would give my life for this cuties puppies!!❤
Assistir uma vez pra nunca mais😢 eu fiquei até depressivo com esse filme quase passei mal de tanto chorar❤
It's so famous in Japan that it's rare for people not to know about it.
Ive watched this movie so many times n i still have tears every single time. Im a dog parent myself, my maltese is 9 yrs old. I cant and dont want to think what happens when he eventually pass. The scene where hatchi pass n unite gets me in tears all the time
One of the saddest movie i have ever watch😭
I've never even seen this movie and watching you watch this is making me crumble so badly 😢
I'm really glad that, when Old Hachi finally fell asleep for the last time in his usual waiting place, he immediately met his dad again, and both of them were young and healthy and happy. That made it a bit easier to watch.
Try the Australian movie, Red Dog - a quirky true story of the famous Red Dog, the Pilbara Wanderer. Red Dog also has a statue.
excuse me for a moment I have to hug my dog
Me too 😢
I kept myself together until I saw him old. Then I started sobbing and didn't stop for the rest of the day.
I love it. Tearful reaction from two beautiful sisters.
Hachicko : A dog’s tale still my favorite movie 🍿 ever. When I saw this movie for the first time wow I cried and have the same feelings like Viki and Laura as well so It was like remember this movie is very sadness 😢😢❤
The original Hachiko japanese movie from 1987 actually has an even sadder ending. It's just...man...I gotta tell ya it's the one movie that I avoid watching cuz I always end up crying.
I didn't know that there's a Japanese original version of this movie 😮 do you know where I can find it?
@@S.W_Vicky I don't think it's available on common streaming sites like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. I watched it on some illegal site many years ago, I can't even remember what it was. You might want to ask google for that.
Here on RUclips....."Hachico Monogatari"@@S.W_Vicky
I'm Japanese. Hachi is a very famous Akita dog❤
When you come to Japan on a trip, please come to love the bronze statue of Hachi at Shibuya Station in Tokyo❤
I love this movie too, cried alot and I'm 35...few years ago I watched a movie called Red Dog, true story too, watch it guys
One of my favorite dog movies. Red Dog is another true story of dog devotion and loyalty. And like Hachi, they erected a statue of Red Dog in Australia.
Sending extra hugs to you from Amazon, lol. Looks like you need them. 😛
I think Viki cried more than Laura and Magy combined, lol.
Good to see you sisters doing a reaction together! RUclips algorithm is so bad that I'm missing videos and so much time goes by before I realize I haven't had a Magy, Trixy, or Viki/Laura/Homies fix in a while.
Great reaction!
i always make sure to go to Shibuya station Exit #8 each time before i leave Japan .. i always pay my respects to Hachiko .. my last visit was in July of last year
Animals are intuitive creatures. My dog once saved me I would say, I have a problem where I stop breathing at some point in my sleep. (Finally saw a doctor, so trying to figure it out). But there was a night where my dog didn’t want to leave my bedside strange cause he loves the spot right in the middle of the door frame. Anyways I fell asleep and I woke up at some point because my dog was literally jumping onto and off my chest. This was the worst one yet I coughed for like 5 minutes and my throat was killing me for a couple of days. But ofc I’m fine, and animals they’re incredible. I love my dog he’s 13 now, best companion I’ll have
Love the reaction between sisters!!
Oh God!!! When I watched this movie for first time,I even cry after the movie!
Here in Brazil, this movie is called "Forever at your Side"
grief is actually a significant emotion.
I watched this movie only once. Can't watch it again. It's so heartbreaking. Very good movie, but it made me cry very much.
Same and the music is my favorite part. A Dogs purpose is similar
Dog is the best friend of human.😢😢😢
About 10-12 years ago my mother told me the story of HACHIKO - she had previously seen the Japanese original and then the US remake. I saw the US version first, but I also wanted to know what the original was like and I had to do some searching. Conclusion: Normally a remake usually loses out to the original for me, but here it's the other way around. The original seems a bit harder on the one hand, but more playful on the other. .... I only need to hear the first notes of the music and tears are already overflowing. Animals are simply better people.
No se escribir El ingles. Solo se que Los perritos tienen alma, y demuestran cuanto nos quieren. . Que hagas buen puente, Hachi . Y a Ustedes, que su Corazon sea siempre Noble, y dulce.....hasta siempre .....
I cried so much also when i watched it ..
Because you love dogs, I recommend the 2022 movie "Dog" starring Channing Tatum as former US Army Ranger Jackson Briggs who has PTSD and brain injury who is offered a medical waiver that would allow him to rejoin the Rangers in return for escorting a deceased friend's military dog, Lulu, to his friend's funeral. This generous offer was made to Jackson because nobody else was willing to take Lulu to the funeral and to where she was scheduled to go after that. As a result of stress from combat and grief over the loss of her human, Lulu had become unmanageably aggressive as was supposed to be euthanized after the funeral. The movie is a road trip with dramatic and comedic adventures along the way and Lulu and Jackson gradually bonding and helping each other heal. It's a fictional story, but you would enjoy it very much.
Rest in peace hachi
I ended up crying along with them hahaha😊

О хати. Ты до сих пор ждёшь 😢 ?!
Госпади!!! Как же я терпел до этого момента.
Эй хати, проснись! Тут конечно уже не выдержал
This movie is way too strong for dog owners... I cried my eyes out watching just a feel snippets with you guys. Aghhhhhhhhhh.
Togo and Balto a true story of heroic dogs.
You should totally watch Hotel for Dogs and Clifford!!! They are the best dog movies!!
Imagine how Viki would react if she watched Marley and Me
I had an uncle who died in a house fire..their dog was barking at the stove all night…annoyed by the barking, the family couldn’t understand so they locked the dog up in the kennel..in the middle of the night a fire broke out..everyone made it out..unfortunately, my uncle had something he thought was important to save so he went back into the house..sadly he never made it back out…after the funeral and everything, the family talked a lot about how their dog was acting unusual and barking all night during the night of the fire..investigation determined there was a gas leak….
You have to see the movie:
Dinosaur (2000 film)
Хати вечно преданный своему Хозяину ❤.
Ja też polecam ten film można oglądać mój przyjaciel hachi 1:24
Ephesians 6:13 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." - Hachi's loyalty as people's loyalty to Jesus.
I feel that Hachiko's heart is at the core of the basic Japanese mentality. That's why Japanese people keep their promises and are punctual.
Imposible no llorar
