It's top secret which they are still alive actors in Korea. It's joke~😝. Thanks a lot from the zombie city of Busan. Stay well😛
I am considered by most people as emotionless, but when the dad died I literally cried so hard my eyes burned and I was shaking.. All the actors did this so well
Same bro, I like fr Saluted to this man, Dude played as a real hero throughout all this, When he was turning then imagined his memories way back ago after he did suicide? Man did the right thing to not infect his child, But that scene bro, So emotional, I couldn't even be thankful how these actors did so well, Even at the end made me cry as well.
The guy with the pregnant wife, who was such a badass hero until the bitter end (ma dong-seok, AKA Don Lee in the US) was so popular after this movie that Hollywood came calling and he was cast as the hero, Gilgamesh, in the upcoming film, The Eternals. I was SO happy to hear that. Now I just want to see that young actress in some US films. What a talent! LOVED watching you guys' reactions to this film. :)
Korean movies and series focus always more on human nature, feelings, even if its a horror or an action series they will make sure they make the characters relatable and human and feel for them
Also, what's with these child actors in Korea? They're so good!!! Usually kinds are the kiss of death in any show. But the little girl here, the one in Flower of Evil, the twins in My Secret Terrius, it just goes on and on. Their child actors are amazing.
The remake of Dawn of the Dead from 2004, is my all time favorite zombie film. Train to Busan is a close second though. Just a brilliant film in general. Perhaps it is the best zombie film ever. Shaun of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and World War Z, rounds out the top 5. DeadSet, the tv mini series, is also a favorite of mine. Then again, so are 28 Days and Weeks Later. It is so many to choose from really. However those ones, are all great. Do you agree?
I hope not only me appreciated the heroism of the Homeless guy not just once, but twice. First, when he covered a cloth to the zombie's head who's attacking Gong Yoo's character, second when he sacrificed his life for the pregnant woman and the little girl. :(( One of my favorite characters in this masterpiece. (Fave together with the big guy who is the MVP, the teenagers, the main character father & daughter, the professional conductor :(, the pregnant woman, and the old woman who opened the door for those selfish ppl to become a meal lol, and her sister. All of the main I mean XDDD)
And it further proves the Asshole Buisness Man's view of him was false. The Homeless Man had 1000% more heart and character than the Asshole man could ever hope to have.
The buff guy gave the biggest sacrifice, also wish the guy that his girlfriend got bitten ran actually instead of letting emotions get into him and sat there and let her bit him.

As a Korean, I recommend a drama called Signal. I think the most advantage of Korean TV shows is immersion, but there will be no Korean who opposes that it is the best TV show as such an advantage is the most perfectly revealed work. You will never regret it with a very exciting thriller
Watched Signal many times, great series . Please watch Voice series too ,can't wait Voice 5. Recommend Missing Noir M too . The cop in this short series same in My Name .
31:47 - I think the prevailing theory on how fast the bitten turn into zombies in this film is the closer to the heart, the faster they turn. Like the first girl was bitten in the leg, and tried to tie off her leg to stop the spread, and it took her a while, but she bit her first victim in the neck who turned almost immediately. Ma Dong Seuk's character (the bad-ass husband of the pregnant lady) is bitten in the arm, so it takes a bit for him to turn.
Similar to rabies (and why it's better to fend off a rabid dog with your foot than your hands. Also why children are especially vulnerable). The turning speed is unrealistic, but the movie wouldn't work if we had to wait hours for every bitten person to turn. 28 Days Later does the same thing.
I think it's moreso that the closer the infection is to the brain, the faster they turn, not necessarily the heart. I say that because right before someone fully turns, the eyes change to the pale blue, and then the infection takes hold. Notice how Sang-hwa's eyes changed as he held the zombies back, then shook it off until it overpowered him. He was fighting the infection in his brain.
I love how in the beginning, the bastard told Su-an in the train if she didnt study(smth like that), she'll end up like the homeless man(ard 6:00) In the end, it ended up that the most "educated" man became the most heartless n the "uneducated" man became the saviour. I love their reactions hahaha, I highly recommend "Goblin",it is a Korean drama in which the same actor participates playing the main character, it is a great drama and they will also cry a lot haha
I think the girl in the beginning kept saying she was sorry because she knowingly got into a train full of healthy people. I have a feeling she saw what was happening to people who were bit and she tried to stop it but couldn’t. She thought she was safe on the train, but she felt it spreading so she knew she wouldn’t be safe and that she just put everyone in danger.
Brilliant reaction, girls! I don't think I've seen Ellie quite so passionate or so vocal over a movie -at least since watching Schindler's List. But this one was really a scream and a tear-jerker for all the Homies!
Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee) is Korean-American and moved to the United States with his family at the age of 18 and has lived in Texas, California, and Los Angeles. In the United States, he coached weight training for UFC champs Mark Daniel Coleman and Kevin Christopher Randleman, and worked as a personal trainer in the past. And he starred in the Marvel movie "Eternals"
I love how this movie portrays fatherhood. A thankless job, where you sacrifice everything, even your own health, but seeing your child grow and enjoy life makes it all worth it.
Imagine how dark and sad it would've been if they actually shot them both in the tunnel and the movie goes to black then shows us that recording of her singing
I half expected the screen to go blank after the final shot with the soldier’s finger on the tigger and then you just hear gun shots. Would’ve been more fucked up if it included the recording of her 😅
The moment she sang that song at the end, I started crying a river again. That song was the song she sang earlier in the beginning and when the dad died, she sang it for him, which makes it more sad. 🤧😢😭😭😭
24:40 when i watch foreign youtubers’ movie reviews, nobody laughs in this scene. Actually, This scene is very funny scene for koreans. When the movie was released in 2016, korean audiences laughed a lot in this scene Because that ringtone was a cheering song for the 2002 World Cup. A big man set his ringtone to such an old song, we couldn’t help but laugh
The best praise I can give this Movie is that it is as close to my favorite Horror movies of All Time: Halloween (the Original); Friday the 13th 4: The Final Chapter; The Silence of the Lambs; Dawn of the Dead (the Original); Terrifier; Martyrs; Scream (Original); Saw 1; Evil Dead 1, 2, & 3 (Army of Darkness); and a few others... This Movie was very well acted, had an engaging and Original story (especially for a Zombie Movie.), and it was genuinely scary! I loved this one, and it is easily in my Top 10 all time favorite Horror Movies now. In addition, it will move you emotionally! If it doesn't, then you need to check if you are still human!!
No matter how many times I watch the scene where the father is bitten and the daughter cries, I will still cry, even when I see that scene here, I cry.
This channel is very quickly becoming my favorite reaction channel. The movie/show choices, the reactors, are all on point. Please keep up the great work =D
I cry like a baby every time I watch this movie. I told a friend to watch it but also told her she'd be crying. She didn't quite believe me 'I'll be crying at a zombie movie?' She cried at a zombie movie! 🧟♂️

Actually the entire country of Korea was lost to the outbreak. However, its unknown whether this girl, her mom and the pregnant lady survived or not either living in the country or part of those evacuated out of the country. Should check the sequel called Peninsular released in 2020, but it talks about different characters.
The best movie about the local zombie apocalypse that I've seen without jokes! And after this movie, nothing better has been shot so far...(with the exception of some episodes of the Walking Dead series) please watch another prequel cartoon Seoul Station.p.s. It's good that after this film, two more actors, Kona Yu (Playing Squid) and Ma Dong-sak (Eternal), had a career uphill.
as a continuation of the "train to busan" you can see #alive. of course, it cannot be compared in epicness to a train to Busan, but it is perceived as an event when an epidemic began for other residents in the city. more precisely for a gamer guy :)
One very ironic fact. The actor who played the best villain in this movie has done a lot of excellent villains in other movies as well. He's a very, very bad guy. But in reality, he is a person who seeks justice in his life.
The main character of this film works for an investment company. The investment company the protagonist works for provided funding to the company that created the zombie virus. Of course, they just did what their superiors told them to do. But that fact doesn't change.
An unexpected twist, but I wonder if it was necessary. It subtracted slightly from sympathy toward the father at the end. 'You shared responsibility for this disaster. Why should anyone care now, after all the people who have suffered because of you?' (It actually makes him a bigger villain in a way than the asshole 'Ajoshi').
Since you loved and liked “Train To Busan”, I would recommend watching another Korean zombie movie “Alive”. And there’s this Korean zombie series “Kingdom” as well.
Technically The guy (Gong Yoo) in Squid game is from Train to Busan Re: The reason the Ajumma (Older lady) didn't try to run was because she thought her sister (the one who opened the door) was already dead but when they saw each other it was already too late.
okay but the real mvp here was the fetus baby lmao.. the mom was literally running for her life multiple times in the movie and the baby is somehow still holding on
First I like to say thank you for people’s of Korean who created absolutely a MASTERPIECE of zombies movie, Train to Buscan. Entire cast are brilliant especially that little girl father is a true Hero. I have a lot of respect for them especially the big guy who is amazing & brave. Everyone ones of them willing to sacrifice themselves to save others like WOW. Except one bloody bastard who is worthless. This movie is insane but also it gave me chicken skin.
The girl who plays the young zombie who gets on the train is Shim Eun Kyung who is one of Korea most talented actresses. If you want a more funny Korean movie but with still a few tears her movie "Sunny" is worth watching.
This is the best zombie movie. I’ve been watching, the main character was dead in the final moment of end movie. He sacrificed himself to protect his daughter no matter what happened. He rather die to, let his daughter is still alive. I cried so much in that moment. In the while, he almost to turning the zombie. He is remembers his memory in the past. He held his daughter on his arm. Oh gosh, it’s very touch to my heart. 😢😭
Now that's a reaction... 😻 love it lovely ladies. Btw, the dad's company did not made those zombies he's a fund manager so it means they funded them, so partly they're at fault. I've been in love with Kdrama and movies since 2009 even their older films are so good. I love them.
(Dad gets bitten) Me: No!!! (My eyes start to water) (Daughter begs dad not to leave) Me: 😢😢😢 (Goes outside of the train) Me: 😰😰😰 (Shows flashback when daughter was born) Me: Oh come on!!! I’m trying so hard not to cry right now!!! (Gives one last smile before he falls to his death and sees daughter in the window crying) Me: That’s it. I’m done. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 The ending made me cry too. I meant in the tunnel. They were about to be shot but the daughter saved their lives by singing. And when the soilder said “Survivors approaching.” I was like “Yeah I was gonna say. Zombies can’t sing.” And also I thought it was sad that the pregnant lady and the daughter were the only one’s that survived from the train.
The last episode where the children sang in the tunnel because they thought of the father's question while driving. Asked in the car why he didn't sing the song until the end.
Great movie, and the child actress was amazing. You guys did a great reaction video, and best of all, you let your emotions take you where the film (and director) wanted you to go.
Thanks for this guys. I didn't think you'd go for a "scary" movie. I'd love to see a group reaction to "A quiet place", since you did like the father-daughter plot here, You'll love that one

This movie perfectly shows a dad’s sacrifice his love and caring towards his child
Watch kingdom after this! It’s another Netflix original kdrama about a zombie apocalypse set during the joseon era in Korea. It’s amazing!
You had me at Joseon Era....lol
Yes very nice movie too
I always said this to another reactor but they didn't react yet 😪 so sad, this show need get more attention what they deserve like squid game
@새벽 -Exellent. I can’t wait…gamsahabnida (감사 하시다).
yesss! Kingdom is highly recommended drama!!
I have watched this movie for more than 4 times in a month, every time watched it I was crying like a baby
I recommend 'Goblin' a 16 episode tv drama. Starring Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wok.
I love how this movie portrays fatherhood. A thankless job, where you sacrifice everything, even your own health, but seeing your child grow and enjoy life makes it all worth it.
Great reaction. Can't recall seeing Viki & Lia cry so much prior to this
this first time i saw this movie had me sobbing, it still has me sobbing to this day and i had to give my dad a hug and tell him i love him
Imagine how dark and sad it would've been if they actually shot them both in the tunnel and the movie goes to black then shows us that recording of her singing
I half expected the screen to go blank after the final shot with the soldier’s finger on the tigger and then you just hear gun shots. Would’ve been more fucked up if it included the recording of her 😅
In the original script, that was supposed to happen but the director thought it was too cruel and change it
lol it’s nice to see that Squid Game has created curiosity for Korean movies/shows.
I wish y'all react to Miracle in Cell No. 7. It's a comedy-drama korean movie. A 10/10!
Hahaha oh i wanna see them react to that movie! Its going to be a flood of cry 🤣
@@alexl2070 exactly! kinda sad people are already forgetting about that movie I cried my eyes out for a day because of it 😆
@kupis1408 i wanna see them bawling like they never shed ocean of tears before! 🤣🤣 please guys watch miracle in cell no 7 korean version!
jeez.... this movie mate... i was srsly dehydrated after i watched it... no joke, thats the saddest movie by far and it was remade in Turky as well.
The moment she sang that song at the end, I started crying a river again. That song was the song she sang earlier in the beginning and when the dad died, she sang it for him, which makes it more sad. 🤧😢😭😭😭
Scary and surprisingly heart-breaking stuff! I hope we see that little kid in more movies, because she's immensely talented!
This was more than a typical zombie movie. Top of the class. I was already crushed when I watched it, but watching you ladies sob was another level.
24:40
when i watch foreign youtubers’ movie reviews, nobody laughs in this scene.
Actually, This scene is very funny scene for koreans.
When the movie was released in 2016, korean audiences laughed a lot in this scene
Because that ringtone was a cheering song for the 2002 World Cup.
A big man set his ringtone to such an old song, we couldn’t help but laugh
The best praise I can give this Movie is that it is as close to my favorite Horror movies of All Time:
Halloween (the Original); Friday the 13th 4: The Final Chapter; The Silence of the Lambs; Dawn of the Dead (the Original); Terrifier; Martyrs; Scream (Original); Saw 1; Evil Dead 1, 2, & 3 (Army of Darkness); and a few others...
After falling from the train, the guy was helped by grandpa to cure him, but he has to be a recruiter.

This reaction is like the definition of suspending reality and just immersing yourself into cinema . Great reaction.
Actually the entire country of Korea was lost to the outbreak. However, its unknown whether this girl, her mom and the pregnant lady survived or not either living in the country or part of those evacuated out of the country. Should check the sequel called Peninsular released in 2020, but it talks about different characters.
50 minutes and I laughed and cried with you. I enjoyed it.
I hope they all gave each other the biggest hug after seeing this movie lol
Kong Yu(X) Gong yoo(O, and his real is Gong ji-cheol)
Ma Dong-sak(X) Ma dong-seok(O)
18:01 🤣🤣 now Ellie knows how Larry feels about screaming right next to him , Vicky 🔥
Don´t get mad at me but this is the first time I see Ellie trully crying. I love Vicky´s voice by the way :)
Why should anyone care now, after all the people who have suffered because of you?'
(It actually makes him a bigger villain in a way than the asshole 'Ajoshi').
I like the most how Vicky's crying to express every scene she watched... Girls, you're amazing audiences... Lol
Since you loved and liked “Train To Busan”, I would recommend watching another Korean zombie movie “Alive”. And there’s this Korean zombie series “Kingdom” as well.
Technically The guy (Gong Yoo) in Squid game is from Train to Busan
Re: The reason the Ajumma (Older lady) didn't try to run was because she thought her sister (the one who opened the door) was already dead but when they saw each other it was already too late.
I cry every single time I watch this movie, it never fails.
okay but the real mvp here was the fetus baby lmao.. the mom was literally running for her life multiple times in the movie and the baby is somehow still holding on
First I like to say thank you for people’s of Korean who created absolutely a MASTERPIECE of zombies movie, Train to Buscan.
I don’t think I’ve cried so hard watching a reaction video in my life!!! 😭😩
The best Zombie movie ever made! From acting to cinematography, to story. Absolutely the best! Your reactions were perfect!
The pregnant lady's husband (Don Lee) is in Marvel Eternals as Gilgamish
Kinda sad from my persepective - I love K/ movies and don't want to see them poached for American sfx and spandex movies :(
(Dad gets bitten)
Me: No!!! (My eyes start to water)
(Daughter begs dad not to leave)
Me: 😢😢😢
(Goes outside of the train)
Me: 😰😰😰
(Shows flashback when daughter was born)
Me: Oh come on!!! I’m trying so hard not to cry right now!!!
(Gives one last smile before he falls to his death and sees daughter in the window crying)
Me: That’s it. I’m done. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The ending made me cry too. I meant in the tunnel.
They were about to be shot but the daughter saved their lives by singing. And when the soilder said “Survivors approaching.” I was like
“Yeah I was gonna say. Zombies can’t sing.” And also I thought it was sad that the pregnant lady and the daughter were the only one’s that survived from the train.
The last episode where the children sang in the tunnel because they thought of the father's question while driving. Asked in the car why he didn't sing the song until the end.
15:56 well humans means to be that fast... if they're healthy enough, if they just don't eat Mac'n'cheese or pizza with ranch dressing xD
Love seeing bigger reaction channels reacting to this beautifully done movie.
drama by the same director is scheduled to air on Netflix on November 19th. 'Hellbound'
here every daughter felt the ending scene 🥺🥺🥺🥺❤
Su-an finished her song. Her dad told her she should always finish what she starts, she finished singing her song for him 😭
Great movie, and the child actress was amazing. You guys did a great reaction video, and best of all, you let your emotions take you where the film (and director) wanted you to go.
You’re right about the villain of the movie. The actor is super kind, friendly and funny guy in real life.
Thanks for this guys. I didn't think you'd go for a "scary" movie. I'd love to see a group reaction to "A quiet place", since you did like the father-daughter plot here, You'll love that one
The Road with Viggo mortensen about father and son
@@ВалентинЖданов-р9е that movie is so underrated and sad
Extinction (2015) with Mathew Fox is another great thriller with a father and daughter duo.
a quiet place is good , The wailing is better
the dad's death, with the shadow was 100% anime and i was SO here for it.
