My father and I saw them in Liverpool (UK) back in 2012. Alison and Union Station were mind-blowingly good. It remains the single best performance of live music I've ever heard. It was stunning, auditory perfection. Just as they show here, one of the greatest live acts of all time.
Ron's banjo really takes this song to that warm familiar place in your soul. My uncle played banjo when I was a kid and it was always the center piece of the day....

SOLID!
There’s a reason they all stood up to applaud - these folks are FABULOUS musicians.

The absolute best. 💗
Excellence.
So good.
She could sing the phone book and it would be gorgeous.
Just like the record
Unbelievable
😻
When country music was still country.
John Pennell wrote this song for her.
Great use of metaphor.
Where is the mandolin????!!!!!
They don’t need it:)
Dan would usually be on mandolin but it doesn't really fit with Ron's banjo....
they used to do it with the mandolin. I miss Adam.
I actually have an old recording of Union station in 1996. The mandolin and banjo go quite well in this piece and that recording.
KK
This song sucks without Adam Steffey;s mando licks.
