- In phase 4.5 (also referred to as intermission) of the Dragonsong Ultimate Raid, you are sent back in time in order to make things right - Save the boy Haurchefant. Xeno goes over the tank Limit Break timing and differences between this intermission and Phase 1 of the fight.

This was easily one of the best moments of any world prog ever, watching Arthars and Rin try to save Hauchefant and chat spam cheering when they finally succeeded.
Moments like this are why we need ultimate fights.

The fact that saving Haurchefant leads to an infinately worse timeline overall, makes me so damn bitter
Well imagine Zenos in that changed timeline. First fight versus our souped up WoL and he gonna DIE.
@@Kairax the conditions that allow you to beat DK thordan are impossible in this timeline. The only way your wol did it in ult is cause the minstril forces a time travel plot where your wol, at his strength when he beat nidhogg, goes back to save haurchefant which is impossible in a normal timeline and that's the message the minstrel wants to give accross to you; it was impossible to save him.
You can't beat thordan after he acquires the power of the warring triad in a normal linear power progression. You can't beat BOTH hraesvelgr and nidhogg with 2 eyes without hraesvelgr's eye's help and you certainly can't beat DK thordan.
If this were a proper timeline with no time travel bs thordan would've won

In alternative timeline where wol SOMEHOW could muster lb3 and save haurche and later beat DK Thordan. He probably could't grow any stronger, and would kill Zenos in stormblood.
