I made this recipe last night, and this morning I woke up to slice into it after being in the refrigerator overnight. I called it my "practice pie" since I've never made pumpkin pie before, and Thanksgiving is only a few days away. It came out perfect! I used a frozen Marie Callender's deep dish pie crust, and followed the filling recipe, including baking times and using the pie crust shield. Only thing I wasn't sure about was the "pinch" of salt--I literally pinched salt to add it and did not attempt to measure it lol! My guess is it would be 1/8 tsp of salt, maybe less. Regardless, it came out GREAT, and now I can make my real pie the night before Thanksgiving and present it to my family the day of. Gracias, Claudia, for always making such good food. When you say "super easy, super delicious", you are completely on point! Happy Thanksgiving!

Claudia? Did you par-bake your crust before filling it? I haven’t made a pumpkin pie in years and I don’t remember if I partially baked the crust prior to filling or not. That’s how long it’s been.
