D-pad tip: Open up the pad, put some of that clear yellow electrical tape partially over the contacts below the d-pad. This can eliminate those accidental inputs.
Out of all the third party PS4/PS5 controllers in terms of motion controls along with back paddles and customizable analog sticks, it seems only the SCUF Vantage 2 controller (despite the negative reviews; go watch an unpaid and in-depth review from a competitive gamer) is the best of the bunch. It is for PS4 and PC. It would be nice to know if the D-Pad on that controller is good for fighting games and how much input lag it produces on PC. Chances for a high quality third party PS5 controller to be on par with the SCUF Vantage 2 controller are extremely slim to none at this point. It is unfortunate with the way Sony designed the D-Pad on the DualSense controller. Oh, well.
Mine just arrived yesterday. The d-pad feels like it is sticking and the right arrow misses a lot of light input. It requires a lot more force than the other buttons. Is the rubber membrane supposed to feel the same (as firm) as the DualSense? I really want to give it a shot if this isn’t the case, and considering a replacement/repair and don’t want to eat the 15% restock fee if they don’t deem this as a defect. What are your thoughts?
So annoying that everyone seems to pick some but not all of the features we want. The King Kong 2 is so close to perfect, but basically has the same d-pad as this.
This review is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much!

Shouldn’t have to do that
I bought the controller myself and I just realised you can use the back buttons for dpad. This is a huge gamechanger for me. Try this!
