Circular economy

Circular Economy is a traditional approach that aims to eliminate waste and focuses in constant use of resources. It emphasises taking a holistic view of products and processes.
With increasing problems of waste management different researches have suggested that our manufacturing systems must implement circular economy strategies to reduce resource dependence and increase competitiveness. For this the Government of India is pushing innovative circular economy policies and programs and has notified several Plastic Waste Management Rules, e-Waste Management Rules, Construction and Demolition Waste Management Rules, Metals Recycling Policy, etc.
