Sure does! Such an amazing little devise that takes this rig to a whole new level of capabilities and gets rid of the stupid annoying stuff vehicles have to have today
I had to grab one. Adding OEM led and AUX switches from a T-boned JLU onto my Mojave. Also excited to get my 35s calibrated. Being free from the vehicle while winching/anchoring will be nice.
I would order the extension cable too. That way if you want to take it out it's much easier. The extension cable is 30 bucks. But makes it so much easier to reach it
@DrayvinAximov can't remeber what it's called but it's on tazers manual and shows you how to get to it. Think it's called gear park lock or something like that. I don't have the Manual handy to check. But it was easy to find in the info.
Thank you. Finally someone tells you straight up what it can actually do. My only issue is, will it void the warranty if the dealer finds it? It is nice that there is an extension cable now. I need to get a tazer.
It doesn't void warranty as it's not a tuner. They recommend removing it before service is done so that when the dealer plugs in the scanner it's doesn't set off ther scanner that settings need to be reset
Agree its an amazing tool that let's you bypass all the stupid lock outs. I understand why all the lockouts and gov regulated stuff is there. After all we live in a time where pizza boxes say "remove pizza from box before consuming"😂. But is sure is nice to have a tool to disable that crap and expand the capabilities
I agree with you 100% that auto stop/start is for the birds. I bought the Auto Stop/Start Eliminator out of WV to solve that problem on my 2023 Wrangler Willys. I have a manual tranny and I can't believe they put an auto stop/start on that transmission.
Do you have to own and know how to use a computer to use a taser? I’ve known about them for years but I’m old fashion I’ve never owned a computer I don’t even know how to turn a computer on and I was told that you have to connect these to a computer before using them? If it was just something I could plug-in and use that would be great maybe it’s changed any input would be a great help because it would get rid of those annoying things we have to put up with. 👍
I'm not sure if the taser mini will stop that many vehicles with electronic parking brakes automatically stop the vehicle and apply the brake when the door is open not sure if the taser will stop that you would have to read the manual or go to tasers website to see
No idea. It spends 2-300 miles a week in the swamps. And the rest on the highway. So think mine says 13 or 14 or something. The one time I did reset it when I bought my 35s and was curious it got 18.5 on the high way for 3 hours
Correct. You can engage rear locker in 4 high with off road plus on and traction control off. But you need a tazer mini to get a rear locker in 2 hi or to get front and rear lockers in 4 high
I agree having a OBD2 plug in adapter is gold but my got you got screwed buying a Tazer mini. Hell i do alk the same adjustments with my Veepeak BLE+ and was $40
Winch mode brings the idle up to a configurable point. Locking the brakes is called anchor mode, locks all 4 wheels. There's also line launch mode that locks the front brakes only for doing smoky burnouts
Sure thing. All three of those modes, winch, anchor and line lock can be mapped to steering wheel shortcuts. There's 4 shortcut spaces, for up,down, left, right on the passenger side steering wheel button. The driver side left button plus one of the the passenger buttons activates the feature, ie: I've got anchor mode set to driver left +passenger down. Otherwise you can toggle/trigger most of the things through the audio menu and the driver left button on the dash.
I just purchased a 2018 Wrangler JL Sport S Unlimited with 28,500 miles in sparkling condition. My 2004 GMC Sierra diesel was stolen the next day @ 4:45 AM. The thieves could not get it started because I had a hidden relay kill switch in the engine compartment fuse box center. Not knowing where to look, they were forced to PUSH my truck, with an accomplice’s pickup down the street and away. Something to see on video…. In any case my point here is I am interested in the Tazer but I can tell you any thief worth his salt will be able to quickly locate the Tazer JL Mini and either reprogram the anti theft features or disable: IF HE KNOWS WHERE IT’S AT! Is it possible to relocate this Tazer from under the dash to inside a locked engine compartment?
We disabled it on my son’s F150 with a reverse light plugged into the 7 pin trailer plug. Turns out start stop shuts off when the car thinks there is a trailer connected.
No. It's not a tuner or anything like that. But you will want to remove it when taking it to the dealer so their scan tools can work and access everything.
@SamkoWorkShop thanks. Is this one you recommend the best one for the buck or are they all the same and you just went with it? What makes one better than the other if there is such a thing?
@toddmoir4396 I went with the tazer mini as that's the one I see so many using with fantastic results. Never tried any others. Everytime I looked it up the tazer mini is what everyone was using. So I figured it was proven. I love it.
You're dead nuts on, tazer is the right settings that should be factory settings. If you think the torque is crazy, you should try it with the eco diesel, the only thing i haven't got to work right with the tazer is the winch idle but it's not been a big deal, got the bigger battery and alternator with the led package, still pulls plenty hard idling under 1000 rpms
Annoying stuff gone? Like your Jeep. Sorry I’m a little irritated because my Jeep was stolen and it turns out the Tazr bypasses the jeeps security gateway module. Tazr’s are great for non live function where once set it doesn’t need to remain in but if you are using for the “cool” features your putting it at risk for being stolen.
Sorry you had your jeep stolen. I don't think the tazer made a difference though. The thieves didn't know you had a tazer and we're prepared to bypass anything they needed to steal it and already knew how. The tazer was most likely not relevant to the theft. But sucks you had to go thru that. Again sorry man!
@@Jason-Samko the taser bypasses the security gateway module which then allows access to o the an bus allowing for reprogramming the o a new smart key without know the RF lock codes
@@renovaldez8838 But even without the tazer the thieves planed to steal it and knew how to even if the tazer was not there. The jeep was going to be stolen with or without the tazer most likely. Still sorry it happened and you had to go thru that.
Disable seatbelt chime 1.Get in vehicle and put seat belt on. 2. Turn vehicle on. (Does not need to be started. Just press the start button twice without pressing the brake.) 3. Once the Jeep is on, the diagnostic screen will briefly show the seatbelt warning indicator. As soon as the indicator goes away. Quickly disconnect then reconnect the seatbelt at least three times. 4. Turn off Jeep.
My ford f150s used to let me do that type of a sequence to turn the belt chime off. Didn't know jeep could too. But with the tazer it was a simple click of an icon and done. Along with all the other amazing things it does. But many people that read this and don't have a tazer will appreciate the sequence you explained.
You nailed it when you called it a game changer. Makes the Jeep a more functional tool.

My favorite feature. Keeps the Jeep in gear when you open a door.
Love that feature especially when backing up to look at deer and hogs tracks. Or trying to back up thru tight stumps

How do you use the 0-60? I can get to it, but it won't work.

I do not. But tazer does and so do many others. But it's simple plug and play.
