Loved the analysis. Would like a video on Light Vs. Near arc, it would be interesting to see if Near can still beat Light if Light had not committed those same mistakes.
6:00 what if L just hacked the database and made sure that Cops only access to the different different lists of criminals he made with minor changes with 1 or 2 crimials missing or added ? It would narrow down the investigation to Mr Yagami's family. Also this without involving FBI plus he just put Survilance cameras in Yagamis house or put Yagamis family under solitary confinement to see if they criminals are still getting heart attacks this would Narrow down the Suspect list from entire Japan, to Police Department to Yagami Family only.
Well, L would likely already have access to the police database, but yes, he could give each officer an individual piece of information related to the Kira case and if Kira responds to any of it, L would know which officer Kira got it from. L, however would not be able to confine the entire Yagami family.
@clueanalysis2596 confinement of yagami family doesn't need to be legal/official. Just do it we already know that atleast one of the yagamis is affiliated to kira.
@@parameshwar3345 How would he do it then if not legally? He doesn't have the manpower to just randomly kidnap the Yagami family and even if we consider the times when he did have the manpower to do such a thing, the people working with him wouldn't comply as it would be illegal.
@@clueanalysis2596 1. Manpower • that dude's a Billionaire or atleast multi millionaire. I am not trynna counter you look you are indeed a really really smart guy there's no doubt about that but there could a possibility that you are overthinking it.
@@parameshwar3345 Please read carefully. I clearly referred to the times when he did have the manpower and it's still not relevant because the manpower he had was government agents and police that wouldn't randomly capture people just because L said so. Just because one legal act was performed doesn't mean another one can be. That is the equivalent of saying I can get away with J-walking so I can get away with murder. L might do illegal things at times but it's usually done in a secretive way as to not draw attention back to himself which is why he gets away with setting up cameras in private locations because the suspects likely won't find them or capturing Misa because L had a confined and small team willing to do that. On top of that, that team still only allowed that to happen because there was solid evidence against Misa, that being her hairs and fibers found on the tapes. So when you say "he was given permission to confine mrs Amane for 50 days with way less" that is simply not true because they actual had evidence for Misa. The Yagami family has no solid evidence that anyone of them is Kira, only suggestive evidence which typically isn't enough for what you're suggesting L should do. Kidnapping a whole family even with people that are willing to do criminal activity for L would still leave the absence of that family. Any associates would report them missing and L would basically have a manhunt after him for kidnapping a legally speaking innocent family.
@@clueanalysis2596 How about a video where Yuuichi, Lelouch and Light Yagami join the classroom of the elite universe, as they all are students at the same school as Ayanokoji, they are around the same age. So i wonder how they would perform at the same school as Ayanokoji.
@@yassinbenabou9601 That's an interesting idea. We could actually add plenty of other characters who are roughly around the same age such as Akira from Battle Game In 5 Seconds or Akiyama from Liar Game. It would be interesting to have a series involving all these characters taking part in a school like manner trying to outsmart each other.
I agree that Light would be the one to succeed between the two if both acted perfectly, although I am not sure if the aforementioned plan would work for the follow-up encounters of Near and Mello, as Light would be suspicious for being among the only survivors of a secret Kira task force (the other Japanese police would know who was involved in the task force, as they would no longer be as involved with the standard police work). It would be interesting, in my opinion, to see your take on how this latter portion would play out. Cheers!
What scenario do you think would be perfect for Light to kill L and not be suspicious afterwards if you disagree with what I think to be the best way for Light to go about killing L? In the video I stated that Light waited for the FBI agents to start investigating other people, so Raye Penber dying while following someone else would lead to L suspecting a different person as the prime suspect. As well, after killing L and Watari, the only other member dead would be Matsuda. So Aizawa, Mogi, Soichiro, Ukita and Light would still be alive. As well, Light isn't on record as being on the Taskforce either. Since Light never really became a suspect this time and all the data on Kira would be deleted, it'd be much harder for Near or Mello to suspect someone on the Taskforce is Kira or figure out how Kira works. Near and Mello would really only be able to figure out that Kira might need a name and face to kill, but most of the other information wouldn't be available to them and without the initial clue of suspecting Kira to be in Japan, it'd be hard for them to start anywhere.
@@clueanalysis2596 Oh, it seems I misunderstood. It sounded like you were proposing that Light would repeat the process that Matsuda and Wammy went through on each member of the task force (meaning they would die), until none would be left except L himself. However, if only Matsuda, Wammy, and L die, then this wouldn't be correct. Is the real idea that Light would repeat the process on the "L" (possible stand-ins) until there were no more "L"s (under that title) anymore? If this is the case, then it may be suspicious to the other members of the task force that Matsuda requested a private meeting with Light (although Light may be able to come up with a good explanation), and that Wammy and the "L"s sent photos of all the "L"s to all members of the Taskforce (meaning, at least at the time of their deaths, it would seem likely Kira is a member of the taskforce). This is, in any case, an interesting scenario; I appreciate your video, as it is well-thought out and it impresses me. As for the best solution, I do not know; it would probably involve the memory loss perk, though. I haven't thought about it enough to say confidently, but that is also interesting.
@@quarepercutisproximum9582 When I meant repeat the process, I was referring to Light trying to find the real L, because Light can't be sure if the L he finds from Watari is the real one either. So after getting the name and face of the person Watari gave him, he'd do the same thing to this person as he did to Watari, which is try and find if there's any more stand ins for L or find the real L. Once Light stops getting names and faces, it basically confirms that he's finally gotten to the real L. Think of it like this. Light writes Watari to find the name and face of L, Watari finds the name and face of L but it's actually Wedy, so Light writes Wedy's name down to see he she can find the real name and face of L, Wedy finds the name and face of L but it's actually Aiber, so Light writes down Aiber to try and find the name and face of the real L, Aiber finds the name and face of L and this time it's actually L, L Lawliet. But from the perspective of Light, he has no way of knowing it's the real L or not. So Light writes down L.Lawliet to try and find the name and face of the real L. All of sudden Light stops getting names because the last person he wrote down is the real L and couldn't try and find the name and face of the real L because he is the real L. I suppose though that the real L might just send a picture of his name and face himself though, but that's the idea of the plan. I don't think anyone would be suspicious of Matsuda and Light talking. I mean all Matsuda would say is "Hey, Light, before we go, could I talk to you privately for a moment? It'll only take a minute". Nothing really suspicious there, plus Matsuda wouldn't be dying the very next day, he'd be dying roughly a month from that moment. If Light is questioned about what was discussed about this particular moment with Matsuda, the best explanation he could give would be that Matsuda was expressing his worries about chasing after Kira in the chance he might die and was afraid to talk about it to the other Taskforce members. Something along those lines would be sufficient enough of an explanation. All the Taskforce members receiving the images of the stand ins for L only suggests that Kira was using the Taskforce to get to L. It would be possible to suspect Kira might be among them, but it's more like how the FBI agents were killed in that they all received a file of the other FBI agents, which also suggested that Kira used the FBI to kill the FBI. The Taskforce members would at most really only be suspicious of each other as a group, but with L gone, Light can offer his perspective that Kira used the Taskforce to try and kill L, not that Kira is among any of them. The information of suspicion among the Taskforce members would be contained to the Taskforce members and if it really came down to it, Light could still kill them all in a way that wouldn't draw any suspicion to himself. For instance, a regular police officer not on the Taskforce could be controlled by the death note from Light to appear on a live broadcast supporting Kira and reveals all the members on the Taskforce specifically used to hunt down Kira, which would allow Light to kill all the Taskforce members without drawing any suspicion towards himself. Then this police officer could die of on work duties such as being killed by another criminal several weeks later.
That's a mistranslation, Light actually uses a Mafia member with the shinigami eyes to send him their location, so Light controlled someone with the shinigami eyes in the series.
Why would L continue to believe Kira is in japan is Light has been using Random or more sources to list criminals. The amount of data for L to analyse will be so large to ever figure out what source is the most consistent considering he doesn't have a intuition through plot armour that Kira is in japan. The case is impossible to solve. The TV scene is insane if i were light and if i made mistake up Light i would have left japan. despite that Live Broadcast thing cause even in late 90s internet was big thing its most likely that the Criminal was identified on internet before it was identified by the channel
The original reason L thought Kira was in Japan still exists. If L pursues this lead like looking at the timings of the deaths, this will strengthen the argument that Kira is in Japan even if Kira doesn't kill the fake L. L can then try and use the media to list criminals in certain areas and when Kira eventually kills them, it'll suggest Kira is more likely in that area.
