Sarah Strong is ranked unanimously the number one recruit by every recruiting site. They make their living getting is right.
Gatorade, Naismith (which Sarah won ) are subjective.
Sarah before she sustained an injury against IMF in the national championship game dominated the high school landscape which included a complete beatdown by Sarah of Joyce and her Camden team. Head to head Sarah completely outplayed Joyce in a laugher.

Great show! Edwards will be phenomenal. Another strength is her high IQ and court awareness. She will be the lockdown defender SC uses against high scoring big shooting guards like Ju Ju, Madison Booker , Strong, Morrow etc.
I think you’re right about Kitts playing the 3 more and Edwards at the 4 especially after this season.

I am a UConn fan for real and any objective UConn or any other fan based on their respective history would know why Sarah, not Edwards, was the number one ranked recruit unanimously by all the recruiting sites. Sarah is simply better as even head to head Sarah dominated Edwards and her Camden team.

I HAVE BEEN A LONGTIME FAN OF UCONN AND MY SISTER WAS AN 1ST TEAM ALL STATER IN THE STATE OF CONN BEFORE GENO WAS ONLY OFFERED A PARTAL FROM UCONN AND WENT ON TO PLAY FOR THE U OF HARTFORD WHEN NBA PLAYER VIN BAKER WAS AT U OF HARTFORD. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THE GAME FOR A LONG WHILE, WATCHED GENO BUILD THE PROGRAM AND WILL ALWAYS BLEED BLUE! I LOVE THE PARITY AND IF PLAYED THE GAME AND WATCH EDWARDS PASSION, WE CAN ONLY GIVE PROPS WHERE IT IS DUE. THANK YOU FOR BEING A FOR REAL HUSKY!

I told this to Joyce last week on IG. She is Kawhi Leonard on The 2014 Spurs. Not the prime player, but could possibly win The Tournaments Most Outstanding Player.
Her motor will make up for her unproven shooting and ball handling at the college level. She can little out run and out jump most players with similar size. That will help her early on.
Once she develops a go to move and/or Corner 3 (With the ability to pump fake and drive baseline) she'll garner First Team or even All-American votes.

Love this video!! I told someone Joyce is closer to Juju, Lay, and Hannah and that she’ll be an impact player from day 1 and won’t need a learning curve. I think her 3PT shooting will come along during her career but I agree with her motor and ability to run the floor and handle like a guard will make her almost unstoppable. Many forwards her size are tired after going up and down a couple times but not Joyce lol she’s still running and Dawn will love that because that’s what will kill teams. SC is a team that thrives in transition. With Fulwiley, Joyce, Kitts, Tessa J, etc all running the floor teams will be in HELL trying to stop them. I love the projections too! I think she’s going to turn heads after the first month of play!

can’t wait to see how this ages. To me the difference between Joyce and Sarah Strong are their IQ’s. Joyce sometimes forces things as opposed to someone like Strong who seems to always make the right play regardless of if it means she scores. Strong has a cerebral IQ will similar to Bueckers. I’m interested to see them both on the court together because they both see plays develop ahead of time which isn’t something that can be taught. I think for Edwards to reach her full potential she has to become a better on court decision maker when the initial way she wants to score is stopped.

    • @maxpower247

Great analysis. I agree Sarah had a stronger basketball IQ, but Dawn can definitely help Joyce in that department

IQs and cerebral IQ [???] Since when women college basketball became brain surgeon, aeronautical, scholars, or scientist calibrated. Joyce has 90% physicality and fitness of what it takes to be successful in women college basketball. For Joyce a little bit of technical prowess, and experience should be sufficient for first two years everything else will come naturally in SC winning environment.

@@maxpower247 definitely I still never see her having the kind of basketball IQ of a Strong tho. Some things just can’t be taught. I will say I think people are sleeping on how good Strong will be though. Every coach pretty much down the stretch of her recruitment wanted her, and wanted her bad. Geno however didn’t want anyone else but her. I think this is telling.

    • @jeromesmith3968
      @jeromesmith3968 2 месяца назад +5

@@TheRiddler31XX IQ and passing isn’t that important for Forwards as it is for guards. That makes Strong unique but imo not the best player in this class. People over hype the passing and three point shooting from post players who can do it because that’s what everyone has fallen in love with these days taking after Steph Curry and Caitlin Clark. But it’s a reason Joyce played more minutes than strong and has won every award from HS competition to USA basketball. HER MOTOR! That’s something Strong doesn’t have and isn’t easily taught. She’s not extremely quick and doesn’t run the floor a lot like Joyce does, she’ll rather trail the play and shoot 3s which is fine but when you have a Forward who moves like a guard and can defend multiple positions you tend to find more value on both sides of the ball than just offensively shooting and passing. Joyce versatility will set her apart. Strong will be good for Uconn but Joyce by far has the highest ceiling of anyone in the 2024 class and I’m willing to be that!

  • @josephpullaro3159

Sarah Strong dominated Joyce in head to head competition as Sarah being the unanimous number one recruit on all recruiting sites with good reason - she is just better than everyone else including Edwards and showed it.

I agree that Joyce will be a great player but I think it is early to say she’ll dominate the SEC, with Texas with Aaliyah Moore and talented bigs at 6’4” and 6’6”, LSU with Morrow and even Auburn with Gaston. Joyce is a talented player on the best team in the country but dominating as a freshman is hyperbole

    • @jeromesmith3968

@@kimberlysingleton2205 Gaston??? Morrow?? Moore?? Joyce stepping all over them and it’s definitely not a hyperbole to say she’ll be a major impact player from day 1!! Moore and Gaston too slow for her and Morrow is too small Joyce could’ve played College basketball last year and more than held her own. Watch the video, she was on the All Star 5 in the U19 world championship as a 17 year old playing with Hannah Hidalgo, Kiki Rice, Cotie McMahon, etc and Joyce was the best on the team! Built in the same mold as Milaysia, Juju, Hannah, and Madi Booker. All of them dominated as freshman, so why can’t Joyce? She may not have huge numbers but her impact will be felt like she’s a vet!

Controversial take: If Jada Richard works her way into LSU starting lineup, she’ll be SEC FOY. I’m not saying she is better than Edwards. It’s hard to compare the two because Richard plays the 1. But if she ends up starting and Edwards comes off the bench with the lower end stats you predicted, we may see another Fulwiley/Williams FOY result.
