I’m a Californian man who’s had zero interest in women’s sports. Until Caitlin Clark; true greatness in sports is a rare thing. And it’s a pleasure, privilege to watch.
Sir, I'm a California woman who's been watching WBB since 1996, and while I'm truly happy that you've come aboard (and hope you stay here), there have been many great players before Clark: Lisa Leslie, Tina Thompson, Tamika Catchings, Chamique Holdsclaw, Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, Seimone Augustus (my fave--the smoothest jump shot ever), Breanna Stewart and A'ja Wilson are just a few who come to mind. And there will be many more. Clark was in the right place at the right time, and I'm very glad she was.

My daughter is 12 years old never ever has she been interested in any sports, she started watching Iowa lady Hawkeyes this season because of her friends and fell in love with Caitlyn Clark, she has me March 3rd if I could buy her a basketball ball goal so she can learn to play like Clark. Found myself at the sporting goods store the next day, since then she has been outside just shooting and dribbling for hours, even when it’s lightly raining outside. I can truly say today that I'm a fan of the Iowa women's basketball team. I knew nothing of CC or this team before April 17. When I first watched the title game on April 17, I became aware of Caitlin Clark's game. It wasn't too many days after when I became a fan of Clark's. However, it was a few months later that I became a fan of the Iowa women's basketball team. In the beginning of this year, I was in a state of depression. Never been a women's basketball fan, but I'm a sucker for highlight videos. Watching Caitlin nail 3-pointers is awesome, but that's just the gateway to appreciating the bigger picture: great team ball. And that's what has really made me a fan of this team: they have gifted players at every position, and they use them all strategically. I especially like to see great passing, and one key to that is putting the ball where only the intended receiver can get it-- Caitlin has that skill, but it relies on teammates with fantastic receiving/finishing ability. Both ends of those passes are top-notch, making for viewing gold. Keep it up, Iowa!

I should have gone to bed, but watched this instead. You gave a fan base that has been starving something to cheer for. The only team in my memory to bring attention from opposing teams was Jordan and the Bulls. People do recognize greatness, and they want to experience it themselves. Quite the elite company you keep. As a fellow Hawkeye, thank you.
Really need to stop cutting onions when I watch these things. The way you've transcended not only basketball, but college sports and womens college sports is phenomenal!! This year it's time to FINISH the story!! :)
I never watch any womens basketball game till I accidentally clicked on the Iowa vs Louisville game last October 2023. I'm not even from the USA. I'm from the Philippines, and I am now obssessed with Iowa Hawkeyes! I never actually understand the technicalities of basketball whenever I watch the NBA 😅 But after watching Iowa games I finally had the curiousity to know the abbreviations during game analysis. Im a fan of volleyball but now Im surprised to say that I may have been liking womens baskeball now than volleyball 😆 Im just sad I wont have the chance to watch Iowa games live. But I will follow their careers in the wnba. 😊 Im now watching other WBB games especially the NCAA. I wish games will be streamed in youtube I cant watch in their websites because of location/country difference. As of now Im only relying on people who will upload the games here. So much love for CC my fave player and the Hawkeyes. You will forever be my all time fave in the NCAA you introduced me to womens basketball and that is huge. ❤🎉 ps. I cried a couple of times watching this video. 😭🦅
Caitlin was asked about that shot in the Indiana game she said we practice that play all the time .Her team mate adds and she runs off the court at practice too 😂😂😂
I am not a basketball fan. But this was really good to watch. seeing the human side of sport was very interesting. watching the ups and downs and seeing a team of strangers become a unified team was great. Also seeing things from a coaching side was interesting too.

This Lisa Bluder, Jan Jensen, Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin, Gabby Marshall, Hannah Stuelke, Sydney Affolter, Kennise Johnson, AJ Edijer, Jada Gyamfi Addison O'Grady, Molly Davis, Kylie Feuerbach, Callie Levin, Taylor McCabe, Sharon Goodman, Ava Jones Iowa Hawkeyes team is not just a basketball team, they're a family !! I have never watched and seen women's College Basketball before Caitlin Clark. I wished I had known and watched them long ago.
Jesus Christ what an emotional rollercoaster. 4 weeks ago I never heard of the Hawkeyes, of Caitlin Clark, of the NCAA Championships, and here I am bawling my ass off watching this. More emotional lows and highs of all the Mission Impossible films added together! Thank you to all those who put this film together and for posting it on RUclips. I look forward to the documentary about the 23/24 season, culminating in Kate's draft pick by LV Aces and interviews with Monica from Budapest!!
What a beautiful, inspiring documentary. It warmed my heart to feel the team spirit and love among the group. Did I get teary-eyed at the end? Of course I did!!! Thanks for putting this out here.

I've been a fan of Iowa women's basketball since the C. Vivian Stringer days, this season was one of, if not the, greatest. This documentary is a great record of a great season, thanks to everyone who put it together. GO HAWKS!
Southeast Pennsylvania basketball fan period…..just loved this team’s ride all of last year (and looking forward to this year)! This journey has substantially contributed in putting woman’s basketball in what I believe is the budding golden era, especially with all the talent now in the ncaa. (Men’s basketball was in that era in the late 80s through the 90s) But right now is the start of the golden era of women’s basketball!
This was beautifully done! Thank you! Coach Bluder is an exceptional woman, a wonderful mentor and friend, and one heck of a coach! And this team of young women was an absolute delight to watch on and off the court. What an amazing example of Team! God Bless!
Wow what a touching and well put together documentary of an incredible season. I’m a former alumni cheering from California. My dad in Iowa who has never watched Iowa WBB started to watch last season & never misses a game now. He recently even paid for Peacock to watch the games when it isn’t on national TV. I am determined to go see the hawks this year Live. I hope we can do it all over again this year in the tourney and who knows….win it all! 🖤💛

im from the Philippines and i dont know about WNBA players, neither watch their games. Until SHE came. an awesome player that interest me to watch. great team. IOWA and INDIANA. Godbless y'all.
I'm an old geezer pushing 80 who has never been so inspired and smitten with today''s women's basketball... and the fireworks of good publicity which Caitlin brings. I played high school basketball and loved the game, loved to watch from the court and the bench. And I dearly loved to watch our cornfed WNC girls shoot beautiful jumpshots and whooosh the nets. It was music to my ears. And fun! And excitement!. I demand no injuries, no more violence toward Caitlin; you should too! She is a national treasure, and so is Angel. That violence I saw perpetrated by Chennedy Carter (and egged on by Angel) was assault and battery (a crime and a conspiracy) and had nothing but childish spleen to sour the basketball court. When it is otherwise so beautiful and so joyful...the grandest demonstration of the athletic capabilities of the human body. And, oh those endorphens! And the adrenaline of us spectators!
so fortunate to live in this place in time to experience this amazing team....Caitlin would be great any where she played but playing for a top notch coaching staff will serve her very well in her future endeavors...no doubt
This team is incredible! There's so much love and greatness here that goes beyond. The coaches the players you are all so special. Thank you for being you and bringing so much pride, respect, and love for one another through the game. So deeply felt.
I am a man who has always supported women’s sports. I love that this team is being supported and is building up the league to give women a voice through the basketball platform.
This was beautifully done. Thank you to everyone made this video and most of all, this journey possible. I will not stop following you girls, keep going on and inspiring each of us. Go Hawks!
I'm from Asian country Philippines but i really admire the support of the City of Iowa to the Team. Just like my country who truly love and supports basketball whether its Men or a Women BB game. The whole IWBB are so amazing, Just what like the Head coach said, they got the best benches, and especially the starters. They are all great including the coaching staff, you see the way they motivated each and everyone of them are so amazing that's why i agree to the Head Coach about her statement on the last part of this video. Good luck Iowa Women 's Basketball Team in the future games. Also, best of luck for NCAA Women's Scoring Leader Caitlin Clark on your next Journey in WNBA. Will definitely watch your games there.
beautiful........ what great coaches! This team is not just one great player. Iowa is so much more which becomes very apparent in this film. Wishing you the best of luck for this year's championship game from Switzerland. May the best team on that day win.
A great video of a great team in an unbelievable season. They play with pace, they move the ball, they play with a smile, play with heart and are a joy to watch and with the greatest player to ever play the game who is like a meteor cratering the whole of the NCAA in Caitlin Clark who can sleep walk to a 30pt triple double at will have their very own kryptonite. An emotional season and to be honest an emotional watch on what was a sensational season. I'm a fan and I live in the UK and I will be watching every game I can this season hoping you get what you all desire a National Championship. You have a nation following and wanting success and fans like myself aswel because of the way you play and having the legend that is Caitlin Clark. Cannot wait.
How are you able to watch from the U.K. ? I am in Switzerland and asked ESPN/NCAA but apparently there is no outside U.S. distribution. Even to open an account with a streaming site I can't use my regular credit crad and get denied.
@@12345fowler I watched it on RUclips.. Just put in iowa hawkeyes WBB. The title is Growing the game. You can watch it on your TV if you have RUclips or your laptop.
This team should be very proud, playing for the National Championship two years in a row is something special! Iowa beat a lot of ranked teams just to get there is something amazing! Nobody watched women's basketball until two years ago and i still don't know anyone's name except for the Hawkeye's girls basketball team! I don't even know anyone's name on the Olympic Team but i know all the names of the Iowa basketball team
A belief in your Team is one thing a belief in Destiny, is in the Spirt of Caitlin Clark! Absolutely phenomenal for Iowa's Coach, & Staff to galvanize this, "gritty" group, into a National Championship! Without the, (obviously ridiculous fouls), on Iowa's Superstar, taking the game out of her hands; I see this Team winning it all.
Too bad it didn't have that Cinderella ending... there's always those wicked refs around... she's broken 64 records so far in her Rookie Pro WNBA season... took last years worse team to the Championships...but those wicked refs were at it again...next year WNBA Championship...the following year...the only WNBA team to go UNDEFEATED!!! The WNBA has had a blessing put in their hands... let's see if they keep fumbling it!!!
So inspiring and motivational . I'm glad such an experience has happened to such beautiful people . I hope they never forget how they felt and how they made their fans feel .
So glad I started watching this team that year and this past year! We played hard against LSU and VS SC this past year! Who goes back to back Championship games?!? I am a Hawk fan for life! Can’t wait to see what our girls with do this upcoming year with a Lucy and some of those ladies that were apart of this amazing team! Go Hawks!!!
I'm from the 🇵🇭 and this just reminded me of that time Manny Pacquiao earned his name "the people's champ". It's during that fight he knocked down his opponent 3 times in a round but judges decided a draw result. He didn't win but he won people's admiration because of the way he fights. I think this moment is that moment for this Iowa team. Didn't win the championship but they became the people's champ. Because of the team they are and the way they play. Great video.
This team brought attention to women's basketball like no other team in the history of the game,, the cast of characters were all perfect for it too. Yea I had tears several times, that's how great it was.
Warnock and martin and the list goes on of course shout out to the coaches. I never watch basketball before but I love this game with these Hawkeye women.
Finally a comprehensive look at this incredible '22-'23 NCAA season as lived by the Hawkeyes. I can't stop to think that the final statement by coach Bluder about a lesson to Amercia beeing second and not making excuse and just owning it was a hint at some of recent political happenings in your country. Which is to say all these pople are really class acts, which I believe most citizens in any country are anyway.
I became such a Bluder fan. The way she talks to her team, the way she coaches and her insight is just incredible. I wish she would come to the W to coach the fever. Edit: Also, that team was elite! So many great players.

You all make us Iowans and Hawkeyes proud, ladies! Thank you! 💜
Such a fan of Lisa Bluder and Iowa Women’s Basketball!
Awesome inspiring video! THIS Iowa team gathered the respect of all the big elite universities and American viewers.
That was the greatest run ever by Iowa, the whole team deserves the admiration of every basketball fan around the world!
Salute💪👏💙
I never watch any womens basketball game till I accidentally clicked on the Iowa vs Louisville game last October 2023. I'm not even from the USA.
I'm from the Philippines, and I am now obssessed with Iowa Hawkeyes!
I never actually understand the technicalities of basketball whenever I watch the NBA 😅 But after watching Iowa games I finally had the curiousity to know the abbreviations during game analysis.
Im a fan of volleyball but now Im surprised to say that I may have been liking womens baskeball now than volleyball 😆
Im just sad I wont have the chance to watch Iowa games live.
ps. I cried a couple of times watching this video. 😭🦅
Happy birthday 🎂
Panoorin mo din ang GILAS PILIPINAS WOMEN😅😅😅
Caitlin was asked about that shot in the Indiana game she said we practice that play all the time .Her team mate adds and she runs off the court at practice too 😂😂😂
I am not a basketball fan. But this was really good to watch. seeing the human side of sport was very interesting. watching the ups and downs and seeing a team of strangers become a unified team was great. Also seeing things from a coaching side was interesting too.
Love Coach Bluder’s take on being #2 with grace
This is my all time favorite Iowa Hawkeye Video !!!
Everytime I watch this video, my eyes tear up, the emotion, the heart, the soul ..
Wow what a great video. I discovered IWBB last year and proud to be a fan from Missouri. Can’t wait for 2023-2024 season
MAN THIS IS SOOOO GOOD!!!! They deserved that last game!!! Thank you for putting this excellent video together.
What a beautiful, inspiring documentary. It warmed my heart to feel the team spirit and love among the group. Did I get teary-eyed at the end? Of course I did!!! Thanks for putting this out here.
We need a the next season video of this also I loved this video with all my heart
This video and Team and coaches were beyond phenonimal! Wow what a legacy this team created! What joy and hope and pure great womens basketball in growing the game! It makes my heart smile everytime i watch this video! Go Hawks! Go Iowa!
Amazing documentary well done recently i been watching CC games and she is making history 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 go hawkssssss 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
i keep repeating this SO INSPIring
I loved this season and I watched Michael Jordan as a kid but I love watching this team this year. I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT.
I started watching Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball this year in the run up to the final four and now I am hooked. I have watched replays of the games against Indiana at least ten times. This documentary is fantastic and fitting to the great accomplishment of the team.
WOW! I love you, girls, and the way you play the game! ❤
I’m so glad we have this great film about you! 🎉
YOU CHANGED AMERICA!!
Thank you so much💖
im from the Philippines and i dont know about WNBA players, neither watch their games. Until SHE came. an awesome player that interest me to watch. great team. IOWA and INDIANA. Godbless y'all.
Me too.
Wow, there sure are a lot of you guys supporting CC22 and Iowa. Go Philippines.
This video is an emotion 😭
What a great coach for allowing CC to be Her! and what a great team 🎉 really loved the March Madness run
Team Iowa, players and staff, what you did was so much greater than that game.
I’m a die hard Michigan fan and I wanted Iowa to win that championship so bad. This was so well done, great job.
This was so phenomenal!!! Thank you. Please do one for 23-24 season.
32 minutes of the video is just soo insane! Whew. You just can't described it. The unthinkable happened ❤❤❤
beautiful........ what great coaches! This team is not just one great player. Iowa is so much more which becomes very apparent in this film. Wishing you the best of luck for this year's championship game from Switzerland. May the best team on that day win.
God that 22-23 ride was fun..this is my favorite Hawkeye team.
Love this team and coaches!
History. That was fantastic. Thank you!
You don't have to be a basketball fan to watch and really appreciate these games and the camaraderie that made this team become champions .
Excellent video. Thank you for the year in review... what a year! Lets go Hawks!
IOWA A LIGHT IN THE WORLD 💔💔💔⭐🌟⭐
VALUES MATTER !!!!!!!!!!!
😅😅@@martinhouser3419
1:12:06 girl you are not going in storage 😂 your gonna be remembered in the hall of fame
@12🎩🗿345fowler
I loved this so much! Inspirational, so much learning and sharing. Lets Outteam them👏
A belief in your Team is one thing a belief in Destiny, is in the Spirt of Caitlin Clark! Absolutely phenomenal for Iowa's Coach, & Staff to galvanize this, "gritty" group, into a National Championship! Without the, (obviously ridiculous fouls), on Iowa's Superstar, taking the game out of her hands; I see this Team winning it all.
Amazing team, amazing story..
Love the background stories and fire that all these ladies bring to the game 🙌🙌💪🤟🏀
Lady Hawks, you elevated the game! Caitlin, you are changing the game forever! 🖤💛💯👍🏻🔥🌽🌾🚜⛹🏻♀️🏀💛🖤 #BringItHome #FinalFour 2024!
10 years from now they’ll make a movie about that team
Definitely a team of overachievers.
Looking forward to this season.
What a great season! I love the life's lessons and team strength that you foster 💪 ❤️
Sublime document. Thank you for showing it.
They are great coaches, and they love their players. Who wouldn't want to play for them.
Had to come back here . Beautiful, powerful and inspiring story about a team, Got me teary
Proud Iowan here! So glad to be represented by an awesome team! Go hawks!!!
This was amazing! Thanks for making it!
Go Hawks!!!
I'm picking Iowa to go back to the final four, seeya in my hometown Cleveland, Ohio.
Good basketball played by men or women is a thing of beauty. The University of Iowa Women’s basketball team, are beautiful!
Just 🤩 amazing! Nothing like being aHawkeye!
this was amazing thank you
And LEGACY WAS MADE. Women basketball + Iowa Team Era will never be forgotten
"Caitlin HERSTORY" marked on this planet.
A great videography team, too.
This team brought attention to women's basketball like no other team in the history of the game,, the cast of characters were all perfect for it too. Yea I had tears several times, that's how great it was.
What a great video! Everyone will remember this group of athletes and the year the Hawkeyes said....Why not!
That was awesome thank u to whomever put this video together good job!! 😊
Thank you for this summary
Warnock and martin and the list goes on of course shout out to the coaches. I never watch basketball before but I love this game with these Hawkeye women.
I just Love the Coach's
Finally a comprehensive look at this incredible '22-'23 NCAA season as lived by the Hawkeyes. I can't stop to think that the final statement by coach Bluder about a lesson to Amercia beeing second and not making excuse and just owning it was a hint at some of recent political happenings in your country. Which is to say all these pople are really class acts, which I believe most citizens in any country are anyway.
I love this vid,.Great stuff. As an audio professional I have to say the mix needs some attention.
Kate Martin will be head coach at Iowa one day!

I became such a Bluder fan. The way she talks to her team, the way she coaches and her insight is just incredible. I wish she would come to the W to coach the fever.
Edit: Also, that team was elite! So many great players.
This is fantastic! Go Hawks!!
