Glad you think so! 😊 It’s definitely an easy one, and I hope you enjoy making it! Let me know how it turns out when you give it a try. Thanks so much for the support! 👍
I'm 70 yrs old my mother and grandmother taught me how to cook and that was back when women cooked and new how to cook and made real food and you leave the fat and the skin on because that's were the flavor comes from you take them off and you are left with a dry piece of meat with no flavor.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! 😊 It’s always amazing to hear how cooking traditions have been passed down, and I totally agree-keeping the fat and skin on really adds so much flavor! I appreciate your perspective, and it’s a reminder that sometimes the old-school methods really are the best. Thanks again for watching and for your thoughtful comment! 🙌
Would like to make this - thanks - What is the red powder spice that is also on the chicken? I don't see it listed on the ingredients list or the video. Is it paprika? and if so, how much?
Thank you so much for catching that! 😊 Yes, the red powdered spice is paprika. I forgot to mention it in the ingredients list-sorry about that! You can add about 1 teaspoon of paprika to the chicken for extra flavor and color. Let me know how it turns out when you make it! 🙌
@@Ejaitayou can still edit the description and add the missing paprika ingredient for everyone else to see it. Also, is the red chili sauce store bought? I’m new to this and never heard of it. Thanks
Start wit onion, carrots and potatoes in pot, then add seasoned chicken. No need to toss and dig for buried chicken, chicken will start on top. Add pressed garlic to most of seasoning mixture and then wash garlic press with the soy sauce and vinegar to clean press, no mess on press, all garlic in sauce. ☆
Yes i would remove the Skin 👀👍🏻 ( cause i am fat enough 😂 ) but this looks an easy no fuss but loads of Flavour 👀😋😋😋 please share more 🙏🙏🙏 an amazing young Man 👀😋 well done . Thank You 🙏👏👏👏👏👏💓👍🏻
Haha, I love that! 😂 Removing the skin is always a great option if you prefer it that way. So glad you enjoyed the recipe and found it easy and flavorful! 🙌 I’ll definitely keep sharing more delicious, no-fuss meals. Thanks so much for the kind words and support! It really means a lot! 💓🍗😊
Does anyone have the Instant Pot conversion of this recipe? I loved this recipe this way and wanted to try it with instant pot, but my only concern is the timing for the Instant Pot. Thanks in advance.
I haven’t tried this recipe in an Instant Pot yet, but that sounds like a great idea! For chicken, Instant Pot usually requires about 10-15 minutes depending on the size. Maybe start with that and adjust as needed? Let us know how it goes if you try it! 😊
I love the video format, in general I don't want to hear some person arrogantly babbling like they are so special for 8 minutes then finally start the recipe. This video was great, not to fast but a perfect speed and shows everything well. I even liked the music! SUB AND LIKED THANKS I WILL TRY THIS ONE
Thank you so much for the kind words and support! I'm happy you enjoyed the video and the music. Can’t wait to hear how the recipe turns out for you! 😊
Why ? People don't cut the excess Fat (skin) off the chicken 😮😮, ( thighs have the most FAT than any chicken part), skin not healthy to eat? Otherwise, looks like a flavorful, 'fall off the bone' meal😂😂😂❤❤❤
Thanks for the feedback! 😊 I left the skin on for extra flavor and juiciness, but you can definitely remove it if that’s your preference. I’m glad you think the meal looks flavorful! 🍗🙌
Those bones are bound to put up one heck of a fight after 4-5 hours in crock pot I imagine. Not nearly worth the extra flavor simmering bones bring to the party.
I was looking for this kind of chicken recipe. So yummy👍
Thanks ,
Looks Delish definitely will make this and so easy Thank you 👩🍳🥂
Thank you so much! 😊 I’m so glad you found it easy and delicious! Can’t wait for you to try it out-let me know how it turns out. Happy cooking! 👩🍳🥂

Same, so much obsession on low fat every thing, taste is important too
I learned to cook when I was a teen, watching my mama, Aunt and grandmas. Then my father in law loved cooking so I learned from him as well.
Yes, the fat binds with the flour to make the gravy.
Grandma's wasted nothing.
Good Job
Yes dear. Will keep growing.
So yummy
Thank you 😋
Comfort food! Thanks
Thanks to you too. Cheers

@Ejaita what brand of slow cooker is it and size please?
Hi, it's a Morphy Richards Sear and Stew Slow Cooker (Black and Rose Gold), 3.5Litres

Can I use boneless skinless?
Yes please. And i think that would be interesting as well. Let me know if you gave it a try.

Yes, the crock pot was set to high! Thanks for asking! 😊

Why would you have rice and potatoes together?
Hi. Rice was not in included the recipe. You can watch the video again.
@@Ejaita rice was on the plate at the end of the video…why have rice and potatoes on the same plate?
Broccoli 🥦, would be a perfect match for this chicken 😂❤
Because they obviously like all their carbs and starches!
@@gregorycole3511 Why not?

My cholesterol is up,now I know why.
Looks good but GREASY AF!!!
That's why they had the ad about the heart attack or stroke commercial before this video 😂.
Do you take the skin off of fried chicken?
Why no recipe.
The ingredients are in the description.
Thanks for your comment. I can add the full recipe. But you can still follow the video for the directions and ingredients. Cheers.
Unless you’re roasting/ baking the thigh fillets, I would remove the skin or just buy skinless thighs for a casserole.
Great point! 👍 For casseroles, going skinless does help keep things lighter. Thanks for the tip!
Great idea, but I prefer to leave the flavor in.
I can’t eat chili sauce. Nothing spicy
No worries! Just skip the chili sauce or swap it for something milder. Hope you love it! 😊
All Chefs leave the Skin ON ….wonder why 😀👍
Haha, you're right! 😄 The skin definitely adds flavor and keeps it juicy. Thanks for the comment! 👍
I just want to eat the food and not have to have a fight trying to get the bones out.
ahhahahaha. I'm with you on that. So maybe you can try it with boneless chicken for ease. I’ll be posting a boneless version soon too! 😊
