This is a fantastic sauce. Elevate it a little with fresh mushrooms, but before all that, deglaze the onion/garlic mix with a little white wine! Amazing sauce Claudia!!
Recap of recipe for myself: Season both sides of chicken: Salt pepper paprika basil thyme rosemary. Marinate for 30 min. Sear the chicken in olive oil 3 min on each side or until golden brown. Melt butter & toss in onion & garlic. Add in 2 TB of flour 1 C chicken broth, heavy cream / whole milk & Parmesan cheese. Add Chicken boullion & parsley. Add in chicken thighs.

Just finished making this. Very good recipe. I only had three chicken thighs bone in. I used 4 bone less skinless thighs. To make sure we had dinner for two days. I added tri color bell peppers and mushrooms. I also added tuscan seasoning and cayenne. I put cayene in everything. I like a little heat. I also added a little lemon juice. I didnt have fresh basil. I made mashed potatoes and asparagus. This will be added to my rotation. They key to this recipe is cooking to taste. I added additional seasonings to my liking. This recipe is fabulous. Thank you.

I used boneless chicken breasts and simmered it in the sauce on the stove for a little longer since the chickens already cooked through and I don’t have a cast iron or small enough baking dish :/ still came out amazing
This turned out perfect, cooked it for my family twice and they absolutely love it. You could increase your cream a little and use it as sauce for pasta. And adding mushrooms is worth the consideration. A must try. Thank you Claudia :D
This was last night’s supper. Served with rice pilaf it was absolutely superb! One of the RUclips cooking channels I follow is always saying “don’t eat the same thing” encouraging us to try different things! This was an outstanding change of pace. My Wife was totally impressed and thanked me again and again for making this. The only difference was I had boneless, skinless thighs. It was still tender, bursting with flavor. I made this using whole chicken legs, had no basil so used dried chervil and fresh marjoram, no cream so used an individual pot of apricot yoghurt. I have made this a handful of times & LOVE it! I use chicken breast instead of thighs and instead of using one chicken bouillon I just used half of it because I personally felt it was too salty but other than that I followed everything else to the T & it is one of my favorites!

Hi Claudia, I made this for dinner tonight, just to let you know I butterflied three chicken breasts and followed your recipe, the only change I made is cooked it on the stove instead of finishing up in the oven. I was expecting very dry chicken but to my surprise they were as juicy as they could be. I cooked it for 30 minutes covered on the stove. My husband took seconds, it turned out delicious. I've made chicken using similar methods to this and I must say it is one of my favorite ways to do chicken, either thighs or breasts. I did have to cringe a bit though when you removed some of the fond left in the pan from searing the thighs. I always leave everything in the pan, including the "burnt" bits when I begin to make the sauce- those bits equal additional flavor for your excellent dish! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recipe and post a video. You've just given me some great ideas for dinner tonight.
I just made this and it’s freaking delicious!!!! I love spice so all I did was add red chili flakes and also put some spinach in with the sauce! Definitely will use this recipe with a pasta 🥰 so so good! Ty
Just made this, was wonderful and easy to make. Thank you for sharing! I was too lazy to chop or mash garlic so I just subbed some tablespoons of garlic paste instead and it worked well. Had it with some mash potatoes and sauteed carrots and it was heaven.

I just made this on the stove top (because it’s too hot today to use the oven). I used skinless-boneless chicken thighs instead of the skin/bone-in and it turned out amazing. My whole family loved it and we’re a family of 6. I just doubled the meat and tripled the sauce recipe (because I make homemade bread and we like to dip it in sauce) and added a good amount of cayenne pepper too because we like ‘very spicy’. I made this last night with mashed potatoes and beans. Followed the recipe exactly (used fresh rosemary & thyme instead of dried). IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I just made this again, this time I made a bunch of it. Because I live alone I froze all of it in single servings, it freezes so well you would never know it was ever frozen. The spice combination with the parmesan cheese makes this one of the best tasting meals I've ever eaten. I used the spice grinder on all the spices the same as the first time. @@squirehaggard4749 If you live alone the freezing factor is important. A couple times a year I make 3 chuck roast at a time then freeze it in one-person containers. Just about everything I cook I cook extra now a freeze it. TheReaper!

I have some chicken thighs in the freezer. I might have to make this creamy garlic sauce to go with them. Yum! What do you think about using only heavy cream?
Just made this tonight. So here's how it went: I used 8 chicken thighs, so I used 50% more ingredients to make the sauce/gravy, also because it looked like there wasn't much in your video. I ended up having to thicken it a little more. I also didn't use the bouillon because somehow it magically disappeared between throwing it in the cart and taking everything out of the grocery bag. For seasoning, I kept the same ratio, but went with 2 tablespoons of each (we like a lot of seasoning). Had the perfect amount. Cooked it at 380 for 40 minutes and registered 180 degrees, so I could have went less. I chose 380 because the pan I have isn't cast iron and was rated for up to 400 degrees in the oven, so I didn't want to risk it being too hot. Bottom line: it turned out great! Next time I will add cremini mushrooms. We ate it over rice with mashed potatoes to try it with both.

Made this last night with brown rice.. soo delicious!! I used chicken tenders instead of thighs. Didn't have to put in oven just simmer on stove and I added mushrooms and used half and half. Family loved this dish. Thank you! Subscribed!

Hi Claudia, I made this for dinner tonight, just to let you know I butterflied three chicken breasts and followed your recipe, the only change I made is cooked it on the stove instead of finishing up in the oven. I was expecting very dry chicken but to my surprise they were as juicy as they could be. I cooked it for 30 minutes covered on the stove.
My husband took seconds, it turned out delicious.

I've made chicken using similar methods to this and I must say it is one of my favorite ways to do chicken, either thighs or breasts. I did have to cringe a bit though when you removed some of the fond left in the pan from searing the thighs. I always leave everything in the pan, including the "burnt" bits when I begin to make the sauce- those bits equal additional flavor for your excellent dish! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recipe and post a video. You've just given me some great ideas for dinner tonight.
When you add onion, I also add mushrooms; and Spinach, also instead of cream I use a can of coconut milk- for no dairy and less fat.💓

I was too lazy to chop or mash garlic so I just subbed some tablespoons of garlic paste instead and it worked well. Had it with some mash potatoes and sauteed carrots and it was heaven.

I just made this on the stove top (because it’s too hot today to use the oven).
I used skinless-boneless chicken thighs instead of the skin/bone-in and it turned out amazing. My whole family loved it and we’re a family of 6. I just doubled the meat and tripled the sauce recipe (because I make homemade bread and we like to dip it in sauce) and added a good amount of cayenne pepper too because we like ‘very spicy’.

I made this last night with mashed potatoes and beans. Followed the recipe exactly (used fresh rosemary & thyme instead of dried). IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I was impressed with how flavourful the chicken was with such simple ingredients. Highly HIGHLY recommend this recipe. THE SAUCE IS THE STAR OF THE SHOW!!!

I made this last night for me and my dad and we both loved it :) I didn’t have rosemary so I just omitted it and I didn’t have parm so I substituted asiago and it was really good! Can’t wait to try it with the proper ingredients next time I make it!

I just made this again, this time I made a bunch of it. Because I live alone I froze all of it in single servings, it freezes so well you would never know it was ever frozen. The spice combination with the parmesan cheese makes this one of the best tasting meals I've ever eaten. I used the spice grinder on all the spices the same as the first time. Make this recipe you will love it and so will your family. TheReaper!

@@squirehaggard4749 If you live alone the freezing factor is important. A couple times a year I make 3 chuck roast at a time then freeze it in one-person containers. Just about everything I cook I cook extra now a freeze it. TheReaper!
@@Reaper1947 I'm with you. I batch cook all sorts of stuff (usually in crockpots) and then portion it out and freeze it. This looks tasty, so I was glad to hear that it freezes well. I'll be making a batch of it soon.

I know it's been a year since you left this comment but if you do get this please let me know what you used to package the chicken and freeze it, and how long was it frozen for before you reheated it, and did you reheat in a microwave - or thaw out and put it back in the oven? Hello from Puerto Rico I just did your recipe with pasta penne but instead of taking out the chicken i left it in the pan and added the rest of the ingredients and i used sliced breasts. Amazing everyone is going nuts because I always slightly char the chicken

Just made this tonight. So here's how it went:
I used 8 chicken thighs, so I used 50% more ingredients to make the sauce/gravy, also because it looked like there wasn't much in your video. I ended up having to thicken it a little more. I also didn't use the bouillon because somehow it magically disappeared between throwing it in the cart and taking everything out of the grocery bag.
For seasoning, I kept the same ratio, but went with 2 tablespoons of each (we like a lot of seasoning). Had the perfect amount.
Cooked it at 380 for 40 minutes and registered 180 degrees, so I could have went less. I chose 380 because the pan I have isn't cast iron and was rated for up to 400 degrees in the oven, so I didn't want to risk it being too hot.
Bottom line: it turned out great! Next time I will add cremini mushrooms. We ate it over rice with mashed potatoes to try it with both.
