I've seen this recipe making the rounds on the internet but I decided to give this one a shot and I'm so glad I did. The lemon zest is a masterstroke. I put this on top of a bowl of fusilli and it was magic!
I made this, and everyone wanted to marry me - even my wife.....too scared to make it again. Seriously, this man is the greatest chef I've ever come across! I've cooked many of the recipes, and am yet to make a loser - and with a family of picky eaters.
Always hilarious when internet addicted man children feel the need to announce they finally found a woman desperate enough to waste their lives with him
Made this recipe today and fed my neighbor. She loved it. She has two chickens and brought home a third piece for her daughter. It's insanely good! Will be making this often. Thank you so much for sharing.
The interesting thing about this recipe is it demonstrates how good a result can come from using the right cooking technique, without fancy ingredients. Everything which went into it was essentially a store cupboard staple ingredient, but cooked in a way to maximise flavour.
You can buy sun-dried tomatoes and a chicken gizzard (to make the stock) from your local supermarket. The gizzard is cheap, but the tomatoes will be expensive. @@Cooking-tn5cz
What is actually interesting, is how people have forgotten this is basic cooking 101. No shade against this guy, but this is super, super basic cooking.
Made this last night with your fondant potatoes. Apart from using chicken breast instead of thighs I followed the recipe exactly. It was delicious! My hard to please husband liked it a lot, which is always a bonus!!! However, the fondant potatoes were the star of the plate! They were amazing! I did boil for a few mins, then dried them. Also when I was cooking them in the oil and butter I forgot to put in the garlic and thyme🙄, so I put the garlic cloves and the thyme sprigs in the roasting pan with the chicken stock. I basted them during cooking. OMG! Gorgeous! First recipe from this site, I don’t think it will be my last! Thank you.
A woman putting efforts and actually cooking as a birthday present? Women like these still exist? Phuck what I am not doing right,God? To get a woman like this.
I'm making this tonight. I really like this calm music and simple presentation. and no talking! Its just straight forward. I like cooking videos like this. So many of the other ones have too much talking all throughout and I find it annoying. I started to watch some of the other videos about this same recipe but had to turn them off because it was so annoying! This one just shows the cooking and its pleasant to watch! Thank You! 😊
I tried it and also made it with just boneless chicken thighs. It was exactly as you described and the meat was so tender and juicy. The nice thing about the recipe is that it's pretty quick and easy to prepare and doesn't require any additional side dishes, we had fresh baguette and a light red wine with it, that's all it needs. My family loved it and I will definitely cook it again. Thank you for this delicious recipe. 🙏🏼
used just dried herbs and store stock. forgot the lemon zest. used asiago instead because why not! and i tell ya what.. drop dead delicious! love your style here. quick, to the point, a little flare, a dog. good music. good demonstration of the recipe. you have a new fan!
My Daisy was so well behaved too. She knew kitchen was off limits, and so were the sofas and beds. She had no problem so long as she could lay with her head on mummy’s lap or she could wrap around daddy’s legs. She was an abandoned puppy and we were happy to adopt her, and was sick from young age. Finally at 5 years we had to let her go as her liver failed.... Whiskey is so beautiful and handsome and doesn’t resemble Daisy in any way. She was a Lab mongrel. But for some inexplicable reason he brings back her memories...may be by the way he lays near the kitchen and patiently waits..I often watch your videos as much to see Whiskey as for the recipe. May God Bless him and keep him healthy always. ❤
I found it a little eerie and suspicious that the camera kept panning to the dog. I was worried that he was gonna lift the dog into the frying pan next 😬
I tried this recipe yesterday with milk instead of cream and must say it was fantastic. Will definitely make it again. Thanks for all your wonderful recipes. I look forward to seeing a new one every day.

We love your recipe! I discovered your channel during my study abroad year in Beirut, Lebanon few years ago! I had a similar dish in Lebanon, but instead of using heavy cream, they use something they call labneh ( delicious), they use their good white wine (from the beautiful Bekaa valley) and they also use grilled caramelized red pepper instead of the dried tomatoes …
Just made this and it's excellent. Great flavor combination, easy prep and easy to prepare. A chicken breast instead of a thigh would be great. The lemon zest is critical so don't forget that. Next time I'm going to sautee some mushrooms in butter in another pan and then add them, I think it would work nicely. Thanks very much for posting!
I tried cooking this , but with whatever I have in my fridge, I use skim milk instead of heavy cream, adding char mushroom and 🍅(since I dont have dried tomato). And i dont have butter or yogurt, so I just use parmesan only to thicken the gravy. And WOAH its my first time cooking it like this except buttermilk chicken. Im 1000000% sure the chicken in the video taste like heaven. Will do properly like in the video one day. You can never go wrong with this meal!
Love the way you cook....my practice exactly! No measuring, just "eye-balling" it. Great recipe - and I add artichoke hearts at the same time the sun dried tomatoes go in. This is also good over pasta...
