I really think Capital One 360 is the best all around online focused bank. 360 Checking has Zelle support, debit card with no foreign transaction fee, first free checkbook, cashier's checks, no fee cash deposits, early paycheck, and 78,000 no fee ATMs. 360 Performance Savings gives 3.00% APY and you can open up to 25 accounts!
Schwab gang! That Charles Schwab checkbook, life saver. Used it to put a security deposit on an apartment. Crazy to think people actually pay for checkbooks. And that is a beast of a credit score, lol.
Charles Schwab does have brick and mortor locations. They are just not as common as some of the other main big banks like Wells Fargo or Chase. But you can find them.

Thank you Oscar! The Amex checking account is decent. I like that they offer 0.60% APY with no account fees or min balances and their debit card gets you .5 MR points per dollar spent. This can be nice if you're ever in a position where you have to use a debit card instead of credit. I like that they offer a HYSA with a competitive rate. However, they don't offer any reimbursement for ATM fees and I don't believe they provide free checks (maybe an initial booklet). I also don't believe they offer joint accounts at this time. So, the account is competitive, but it's not anything AMAZING at this point... with that said, if I had their HYSA, I'd certainly open one of these checking accounts in order to access my funds faster. I personally wouldn't use it as my primary checking account though.
I hate that I like SoFi's account. I don't want to contribute to SoFi who took so much student loan interest from me. I also don't want to pay for a football stadium XD.

For me personally I use sofi as my bank since the dd is sweet 2.5 apy rn, I use marcus by goldman sachs for savings because usually it's a flat 2.0 apy and lastly wells Fargo just because I had it since 16 and I'm still under custodial account and not sure if I can leave without the parent involved.
Yes PNC bank has so much potential but to application and web browser website is so outdated especially the website. It's just so old school. It's like they don't even care about it. The virtual wallet is nice though
