I have lived in both states as well and this is spot on and good info! Need more In-N-Out Burger complimented with some wine brought to Florida!
I totally agree! Need to make sure we import that wine from Napa and Sonoma!!
Love the contents of this video. All your videos are good. You have very innocent, serene eyes. God bless you and pray that your channel grows immensely one day. Best Wishes from Maldives.
Thank you so much!
You forgot to mention Florida has no personal income tax! That is Huge!
Cali is like 13% I believe!
You also said California is know for its aerospace industry, but Florida has the Space Coast!
And...
You better have a boat load of money if you want to live in California, otherwise you’re pretty much paycheck to paycheck, which brings me to my final comment!
The homeless situation is off the charts in California...don’t think Florida has anywhere near the problem.
I am born and raised in California, and next month I move to Florida...
Congrats on making a move! How do you think the homeless situation in California got so bad?
The 13.3% tax rate applies to income $1m and above. Still, at the end of a day, Florida has 0 income tax.
Good move.
And to your surfing comment, surfing 🏄🏽♂️ is huge in central and north Florida beaches. Cocoa Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Jacksonville Beach ect has a HUGE surfing culture.
I live in Orlando and winters in the mornings are in the 30’s-40’s. 60’s-70’s during the day. Then back down to the 40’s-50’s at night. And it actually snows sometimes in the Panhandle. It snowed this year! Look it up. Temperature from the panhandle down to South Florida (which is tropical climate) is very different. Not as extreme as NorCal and SoCal but still different
Fair comparison. I live in santa cruz, CA got a job offer in orlando. Lots to weigh and research. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! What factors would make you move?
@@ChrisVincelli being away from family, cost of living and wages.
@@mtechiggins1975 - I'm weighing a move to either CA or Orlando, FL in July; I was curious as to whether you made your decision and if so, what are you thoughts on living in Orlando?
@@Ava2969ny i ended up getting a job promotion and staying local in northern california, turning down the orlando job. Hopefully the right call.
You forgot the fires 🔥 last year was crazy
I’m living in the northeast and although it’s pretty cold here the quality of life healthcare education and good infatructure and transportation gives the northeast a great place to live in Murica. It suprisingly during the summers the summer are pretty good here

Nice!!!
I think California has the best food out of any state. California has 5 star restaurants, good fast food, and when I lived in Los Angeles there was street food on pretty much every block.
California has great food, but I think New York City has even better food! Am I right?
The restaurants are good but it will cost you hella money to live there
I have been on youTube for a while watching videos about life in FL. Some were useful but all the information mentioned in this video is pretty much general knowledge.
Thanks for the comment! What else would you like to see?
@@ChrisVincelli the experience of an insider, of a local person. Anything that you will only know when you live there. We all know the glamour surrounding Silicon Valley for example but if you live there you realize how life is so stressful because of the high cost of real estate and the highly competitive work culture there. I personally don't want to live there.
im in canada im 14 and have a dream to pursue law not here btw im in vancouver my dream is to either live in san diego or tampa tampa is good cuz of the housing and the crime is low breath taking beaches weather good job salary and a lot of things to do san diego amazing business opportunity beautiful beaches both are one of my favourite cities to live but there is also another one which is seattle the reason being cuz business is booming over there clean and safe and also cuz i have lots of relatives living there and its near vancouver so i can visit my family anytime which one would u reccomend for me
Tampa
So where would you rather live Chris? Listening to your video, you make it sound that CA is the obvious pick. Is this about where you live vs. where you wish you would be living?
A lot of my Californian friends told me about his differences about living in California vs Florida. I would try to make lots and lots money in California and move from california to Florida to retire
I dear you to make a video of comparing New York and New Jersey
do u like Vanouver or San Franscisco more? and for living?
Never lived in either places so I don’t know! What about you?
I think Vancouver
Employment tax in California is crazy, like 12%. Florida doesn’t have that. I disagree with the food though. Unless you live in Miami, you’re not getting good cuisine options in Florida. Housing cost in Florida is amazing compared to California. The house I just built in an amazing neighborhood of Florida for $500K would be triple the cost in California and probably not the best neighborhood either.
How is the food in the rest of Florida? What are the options?
Chris Vincelli where I live in Central Florida (the Space Coast) there aren’t many Cubans or Argentines or Venezuelans. Everyone here eats at Chick-fil-A religiously. Very few local eateries, mainly chains (Texas Roadhouse, Chipotle, Culver’s) I find that odd. I miss In-N-Out 😔 and miss delicious, ethnically diverse, local, and varied eateries. Tough places for a foodie.
Guess it depends on what you like to eat, but I have to disagree on the food. Florida serves some of the best grouper sandwiches I’ve ever had and has some bomb seafood. I live in Tampa so I also love the Cuban Sandwiches in Ybor. You can also get some good Key Lime Pie, Gator Tails and Stone Crab everywhere. But if you’re not a seafood lover then it makes sense. Also Publix Subs! 😎 lol
Edit: sorry I wrote this without knowing you live near Orlando. That makes sense now. Go to St. Augustine, Tampa, the Keys, and (like you said) Miami, and you’ll find some good food, especially if you’re looking for Cuban cuisine. Ybor City in Tampa serves authentic Cafe con Leche and is home to The Columbia restaurant which serves very authentic Cuban cuisine.
Wanna visit Los Angeles and Miami
Do it!
Sir, CA or Florida which has best night life
, easy to get girls, hookups, parties??
Nightlife better in Florida and safer. You gotta be careful in California people out here are wild and it’s more ghetto and hood in California than it is in florida. Florida better and safer
Florida of course has lots of hurricanes especially south Florida because they are tropical
California is my home state and is great to visit but it's not a place I ever want to live again
What’s happening to California?
1:00 let me guess you worked for Disney and now you work at Walt Disney World were you play Aladdin... tell me I'm wrong 🤔
LOL you're funny
one thing better about california it has the worlds number 1 bridge the golden gate bridge i love that place.
What about Miami, though?
@@ChrisVincelli havent been there
What are you waiting for??
@@ChrisVincelli im not even in america rn thats why
California is the southwestern United States and Florida is in the southeastern United States
