@Yahargul I don't vote for politicians at all. I Vote down any proposition that raises taxes. But the major population centers like San Francisco, LA area, and San Diego hold the most votes. And they always away to the left of the political spectrum. Everywhere is actually Red for the most part.

I know the feeling. I moved away from home to another state almost 3 years ago and I would love to move back to Cali but everything is still expensive and just the cost of living is atrocious. It’s sad that I can’t even raise my family where I was born since I love my hometown but man, are the high rates, cost of living, etc. is making most of the millennial Californians to move out.

It's not so much the prisoners' labor that is sought after but their bodies inside the institution that count. The prison-industrial complex is big business here in California, as in many other states with federal, state and private contractor prison institutions. Where else can you earn a six-figure income with barely a high school diploma? Become a California prison guard! Great pay and benefits, and strong union protection if you mess up on the job (read: use excessive force and/or sexually assault inmates).

I was stationed in Ventura County for a few years. Moved to Seattle for school after getting out of the military. Moved to Fort Worth, Texas. Bunch of Californians or kid's acting like they are from California.

I'm a native northern Californian, and my husband is a Chicago native, whose been in CA 35 years, and says he could never live in snow again. We have friends who moved to Idaho two years ago and after one year and one winter, they moved back to CA. 😎
@@despicableme8762 there are other places in the country where it isn't a snowy hellscape 6 months out of the year - I'm in the sunny Southeast myself - but I do understand the regional loyalty very well as a proud Southerner who would never dream of moving anywhere else. And if everyone like you abandoned the state, the region would have no hope of climbing out of the pit it finds itself in, and that would be a damn shame because it is a beautiful state that is of value to its residents and to the Union.

Yep, you just need a CA address to sign it. I'm registered to vote in CA and I was able to sign it because my home of record address is in CA (I'm military).

So I was born and raised in So-Cal and well I dont want to move back I moved out years ago but my family is there. This one had me laughing and sad at the same time... I have good memories in So-Cal but its a shithole now.
