    I find it odd that I had made that comparison about a week and a half ago. I called it a crazy one because I thought maybe I was the only one saying it. Well, I feel a little more sane being I am not the only one.

    I don't often pay attention to the drafts as a Canucks fan, due to the fact that we usually don't have a first round pick.... So....

      @@omfg322 Sounds like you never seen one game of Jake in Juniors. It was a mistake but a lot of experts were fooled by him to. A offensive checking machine.Other than ownership no one was more disappointed than me. Perhaps if Rick was here things may have been different.

    It is night and day comparing Vancouvers developement program from then till now. I think they were still in Manitoba and our guys were not getting the icetime because the Jets were not obligated to develope our guys so he may not have become the guy he is now. Kind of like Russian hockey.Guys slated for the NHL were not being developed. Funny though I think for international play they would want to be better. Like the Olympics or the Worlds. Instead they would intentionally stunt their developement. I would think it would be part of Russian pride to have the best players.
