Completely agree. The depth is as good as ever and that's not easy with the cap. They're absolutely stacked at forward and Lekkerimaki will be a top line elite forward soon imo plus goaltending is as good as it gets including prospects. On defense Hughes and Hronek are as good or better than any other teams top 2 defenders and getting better. After that I really like Soucy and Forbert both are great at what they do and bring lots of underrated attributes. This next big positive thing they have and the final pieces to being the best team in the league is Willander and D Petey possibly Kudryavtsev growing stronger and better or possibly adding a great top pairing piece at the deadline like Rasmus Andersson. If Willander, D Petey, Kudryavtsev and 1 or 2 of the next tier guys they have pan out which I'm positive they will the Canucks will be pretty much unbeatable.
Canucks over performed and they’ll have a step back. Too many career years last year and too many injuries to start the year this year. They’ll miss playoffs.
So awesome to see the boys in Penticton. A lot of things to like … Lekkerimäki, has elite skill, Vilmer Alriksson maybe a future power forward, Jake Debrusk deadly sniper, Connor Garland seems to have found another gear, Nils Höglander works hard every shift ,also had some nice snipes. Petey 2.0 on Defense looks promising. Vincent Desharnais looks like he will fill Zadorov’s spot nicely. Arturs Silovs looked solid ,and newcomer Nikita Tolopilo could be a goaltender of the future . At 6’6” he covers a lot of net. Lots of speed and skill on display. Of course Boeser , Miller , Petey ,Hronek , Myers all look strong .Should be a fun season , lots of competition.
So excited to hear good things about Raty and Hoglander! Garland we know now what he’s capable of, and these two younger guys will have to be really good for this team to go far! Love the way Hog plays too!
The common response with players signing here is we were a tough team to play against when they were playing against us. That’s extremely exciting to hesr
been a canucks fan since 73 and i see alot more promise and definitely looking like a great long term plan They are building an organization that will compete for the upcoming decade and more. Its a young group with tons of upside. I think they are a much better organization then Edmonton even. Yes edmontons current core is outstanding but they dont have promise for the upcoming decade ahead.
Given Lankinen's performance on some bad teams, I'm surprised a team didn't at least sign him to a PTO before the Canucks had a chance. I guess everyone's waiting to see what they have at the end of training camp.
Holy tough poll question. Kudriashov is a smooth puck moving DMan I had a chance to see him in Penticton. DPeaty is going to be awesome too. Lekkerimäki looks great but I’m leaning towards not rushing him, Vilmer is a #%$&ing BEAST. The veteran Abbotsford crew at the young stars looked great too. Don’t know what’s up with Hirosi Very unnoticeable for someone who had a taste in the NHL I would’ve thought he would’ve been more prominent. I think a change of scenery would benefit him.
Lekker just turned 20 and never played north American game/ice..definitely has a lot to prove b4 the nhl happens for him..top line minutes and hopefully a lot of goals gets him a call up at some point this year..whether its an injury situation or hopefully he is just doing so well he is the 1st man up 😊
Amazing signing . Can someone tell me how this low cap affects our cap ceiling. Does anyone need to be sent down or can we ice everyone and have PDG Juulsen and Aman as extras?
He has enough tools to be an NHL player but like Raty and so many others with his skill he's got to find another gear and get faster. If he does that, the kid has what it takes.
Being a Canuck fan since the 82 run there is something special building here.
Being born 99, love to hear that
ur a ape they be lucky to make playoffs
Professionalism and higher expectations.

It’s gonna be a fun year to be a Nucks fan
Yeah, Get the riot gear on standby! Go Canucks Go!
@@TheDarkTenalready bought my gear! It's cheaper in the off season
Even better Year being an oiler fan 😇🎉

I've been through every high and low since 1970, and I agree that this is the best feeling I've had for optimism.
2011 was pretty exciting
Pretty cool they're in my home town of Penticton. Tuesday is the first pre-season game on TV everyone!!!! So pumped for the season

Jake Debrusk and his career high of 27 goals screams deadly sniper

tocchs is fkn awesome... we have a solid group... lets get a cup for canada. a cup for VANCOUVER...
LFG
Would be hilarious to get a cup before the oilers.
@@bryndoerksen8376 and the Leafs 😂🇨🇦📈
@@roycanuck9222 lol. True
@@bryndoerksen8376 I was hoping Oilers would lose against the Panthers. If anyone's going to take home the cup for Canada, it's the Canucks!
I love this management group. They have rapidly built Vancouver into a contender and just keep adding great players.
Tocchet like its hot, tocchet like its hot!

Now i wanna see a 3rd elias pettersson in net for the trilogy
Pittsburgh made a huge mistake in letting Toch go. He deals with players in a way, not many can.
Pretty telling look on Tocc's face when asked about Sprong. Haven't seen that look since Kuzmenko
Go Canucks go
...As soon as I heard the "JT Miller's an asshole" quote, I knew this outro would be made here... it was like seeing the future.
We got a taste, and now we're on the hunt
so many goalies now
(they got silovs, tolopilovs, pantera, a new fernando guy, AND lankininn now? +demmers when’s he’s healthy again > they gotta trade some a that G
Nice pickup 😊
Back to back jacks
Sing me a song your the Tocchet man
Ha just heard it in the background

How good do you have to be for Tocchet to pronounce your name right? 😂
Excellent comment 😂
Our Dman Pety should wear #4 to confuse the refs and opponents...Lol
ratty and lettermaki lol
Nice..
whats with the random ass cut scenes? lol
Bains is not an NHL player.
hey come on guy, give arshdeep a look
He’s only 23 years old. He can develop still
He has enough tools to be an NHL player but like Raty and so many others with his skill he's got to find another gear and get faster.

Bains will play in the nhl if not this year, next. Has excelled at every level he has played.
