20 years ago, I'd go into the options menu and leave the game sitting there for hours while listening to this on my little 13-inch monaural TV, daydreaming or going through my thoughts... even to this day, this song audibly rocks me into comfort.
I've got a FFXII feeling, and it really is from the same composer of the most songs in FFXII, if not all of them. Hitoshi Sakimoto. Remembers Cerobi Steppe, Eruyt Village, Time for a rest, A moment's rest, Abandoning Power.
He composed the music for FF Tactics as well, an amazing soundtrack. That's the game that comes to my mind when I hear this track since I played it before FFXII.
Music like this so makes me miss the optimism of the 90s as it was such a happy and carefree time where people genuinely believed that anything was possible and they were not culturally conditioned into these bleak, self-limiting mindsets and I believe this song from this N64 game perfectly exemplifies that in my opinion. May the optimism of the 90s rest in peace. Amen.
Such an ethereal track, thank you for this! I hope to play the remaster for Tactics Ogre eventually, then go enjoy the rest of the games in the series.

Check their other videos first to see who’s style you like more from their other games they’ve played. This game is phenomenal. It goes deep into psychology and various histories and even exposes the tyranny of organized religion imposes across the land. This game has multiple endings and endless routes full of unique and rare scenerios that takes months to get perfectly right. When the game came out. Many people just played it nonstop for years until they figured it all out themselves or by accident. There are many retrospective videos about this game too. Well worth the watch if you get the chance. Here on RUclips
Thank you so much! This is my favorite song on the OST and I've wanted an extended version for years! Is there any way you could extend the in-game version? I think this is the nicer MIDI version that came with the soundtrack but I'm fond of the original version as well :)
@@NoyzP360I thought this too! Many of the people behind the tales games were also involved with many games such as Final Fantasy series & OgreBattle. Of course many more could be added to that list .. 😂❤
One of the few on the 64. I still play it on an emulator after my 64 went kaput, be careful though it can be a difficult game starting out and it takes a while to beat

It's a song about your own potential, it has the power to transform each and every day into a bright adventure.

Just absolutely one of the most beautiful melodies EVER in VG music or elsewhere.
How can we boost the popularity of this video? More people need to hear it!
Well, you can always use the power of Social Media... like Facebook or Twitter!
A website like Reddit can also work.
Or you can just give me money instead.
Amazing song... I found it in "Relaxing Video Game Music (N64 Edition)" video, here in youtube. I didn't know this song :') Thank you for share it.
Feels like I'm dreaming when listening to this song

Tactics Ogre, FF Tactics, Ogre battle and FF12 pretty much had the same people work on all of them

ost 진짜 좋네요..
A beautiful and serene N64 theme
I don't know this game, but this track sounds really fantastic. It reminds me of Secret of Mana.
It's such a great game. If you're into strategy games, go for it.
its a crime that this song is only played once in the game.
I’ve never played this but the music is beautiful
You should
either me, but I got now interested on the game, when I play the emulator again will search for it.
