Hi, I was wondering what you'd consider "competitive" video settings? Do you just turn everything off or do you still value some settings for visual/tactical reasons? Thanks.
Would love to hear if they run it maxed or any lower settings for specific reasons. I imagine bloom off can help with visual clarity. I imagine lowering LOD helps too, there's no need for animation quality to be high at all.
Honestly, I'd be running at max settings if I had a newer PC that could run modded Vermintide at high framerates. Right now I have any settings that put strain on the CPU to the lowest since VT2 is a CPU heavy game, anything else that's GPU bound is at max (e.g. Texture Quality). The usual settings like Depth of Field and Motion Blur are off, I keep Bloom on because that can help with spotting assassins since their blades glow. I will mention that the More Corpses mod, and setting corpses to 1, does give you a competitive edge since it removes a lot of visual clutter. It also despawns boss corpses much faster which is quite helpful because their corpse still has a hitbox that prevents your attacks from cleaving. Using the True Solo QoL Tweaks mod can also help give you an edge if you tick the Disable Fog option. A good example is the mid event in this video (25:38) as it would allow you to see pretty much everything in the room. I personally don't use it because disabling fog makes Vermintide look quite bad since it takes away a lot of depth from the maps. Both of these mods I've suggested are allowed for tournament use as well.
@@TrixMelee Alright, I'm currently running a hybrid of visual/practical settings, I'll have to fittle around with it again. I do think they should make the corpses mod sanctioned, just like how blood decals work, but I'm pretty sure it's been "Sanctioned Status: applied" for quite a long time now. I appreciate you giving me some insight! Subbed.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOO Have never seen that gun be so good. Poggers. question: so you're not running infinite ammo or anything - you're just using blessed shots on those charged up attacks every time right? That's how that is working?
Yep. The Tourney Balance mod takes "Melee kills reset the cooldown for Blessed Shots" from the Blessed Combat talent and turns it into a passive, which makes this build possible. I believe when Vermintide 2 came out this build was possible, but when they reworked all of the classes it no longer was.
@@TrixMelee Ah, very good. Thanks for explanation! A shame such a functionality is no longer on standard - in my experience BH is always uncomfortable with ammo in a way the other ranged specialties aren't. Such a shame Fatshark has left VT2 in the weird limbo it is in, not even sanctioning things like that packetloss mod on the workshop anymore.
How were you gaining temp hp if using Paymaster in the temp hp perk slot? ALso looks like youre getting Blessed combat refresh when using Prize bounty. I assume this is bc of tourney balance
Level 5 and 15 talents were reworked and moved around a bit with Tourney Balance, so he actually has crit/headshot thp here. And blessed combat was made into a passive with bounty hunter, so with Prize Bounty you get infinite crits/ammo for each melee reset.
Pche. :D You have Blessed Combat perk and Prize bounty? :D Ok, than, if i can have mod where i can have all perks, than, all map is form me werry easy. :D Anyway, nice try. Just another one who thinks: Im good with cheats. :) Or tell, meyour "Builds" Where you have "Paymaster" perk, but you also, generate Temper health. You are silly mate.
Bounty hunter not being able to one shot hookrats with his ability is criminal

@@JCtheSpy i wanted to rebuilt his setup and was like, wait a second this talends are in a line XD
Why do blessed shots reset upon kill even though prize bounty is used?
Seems like they play with mod Tourney Balance

Is that auto aim cheats I see.
5:39 it looks like it's cycling through targets...
you are both lunatics

Lvl 20 Talent: "shots affected by blessed shots consume no ammo"
