The scots irish were of scottish lowland descent which is a different culture altogether that you see here. Now the highland culture has come to represent all scotland, but back in the day that wouldn't have been the case.
정말 멋집니다! 스코틀랜드 민요와 의상에 반했습니다. 백파이프 배우고 싶습니다. 와우~ 잘 봤습니다. It's so cool! I was against Scotland folk songs and costumes. I want to learn bagpipe. Wow ~ I saw it well.
@FEZDream - "I was against Scotland folk songs" - Don't knock The Corries - They set a standard all of their own i.e. they'd take a reasonable song, get right into the guts of it, completely re-arrange it & TOTALLY transform it to a MUCH higher level than anybody else could even dream of!
Emocionante , demais, toda a pompa, todo orgulho e toda a tradição de um povo está em suas Bandas de gaita de fole e tambores, orgulho e tradição de uma nação, a escocesa....
@ Sven Hartvig - Call me a traditionalist if you want, I don't mind :) but I still think you can't beat the words of Rabbie Burns in "Scots Wha Hae" - & if that upsets the sassenachs I couldn't care less!
@@jimlyon7276 Absolutely nothing wrong with being a traditionalist - and I only weathered my humble, sassenach -Scotland theBrave, and Loch Lomond were the two first Scottish songs I heard as a little boy, and I love them both - in my mind Scotland the Brave is the very spirit of the Scots, and Loch Lomond has allways been my favourite Scottish ballad (As a youngster, I swore, that some day, I would sing the song at the water's edge at Loch Lomond, and I have done that - no animals, flora nor Scots were injured in the proceedings),
There were 7 different bands marching and playing together, each with their own drum major, but all led by the leading Drum Major who is giving the orders, so refers to them as 'massed' rather than just 'band'.
They are not one band, on that day we were comprised as 7 bands that normally don’t get to play together since they are spread out from the places that they play/ practice from

As a Bass Drummer in my local Pipe Band,I thought the Bass Drumming was not loud enough.
Also playing was Culter & District Pipe Band and Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band.
Thanks Ewan, I was struggling to identify them all. I'll add those to the list.

There were 7 different bands marching and playing together, each with their own drum major, but all led by the leading Drum Major who is giving the orders, so refers to them as 'massed' rather than just 'band'.
its usually massed pipes and drums though.....
