Correction at 3:28 - Vasodilation is caused by histamine and prostaglandin. Leukotrienes do not cause vasodilation, they rather cause vasoconstriction.
what is the thing I like about your channel is You are straight forward not beating around the bushes perfect channel for learning I appreciate keeping making such sort of videos 👍
Your videos are very informative and interactive as well. I've been watching your videos related to basic immunology concepts and it has been very helpful. Sadly I can see that there are not many videos centered on immunology as such like the complement system, hematopoiesis etc. It would be very helpful if you could upload such videos that give detailed insights on immunology. Hats off to your creativity and best efforts!! Looking forward to seeing more of such videos.
I found other sources that say that Sialyl Lewis X is actually a carbohydrate, not a protein. Which makes sense, since selectins are carbohydrate-binding molecules
Beautiful presentations, clear explanations and perfect! I recommend it to my students! Is it possible that I can use some screenshots of the videos for teaching? I would really appreciate it
Testifying about odige Oyas on RUclips is the great joy I have ever had in a while because, this man transformed my life in all rammification. Thank you doctor for putting an end to my illness called inflammation and Putting a smile on my face 😊
I got question 2:28 "..These molecules are recognized by receptors in the leukocytes like macrophages and dendritic cells.." - How did macrophages and dedritic cells get into there in the first place? Aren't they supposed to be inside the blood vessel? Or I'm mistaken?
That is a great question! Dendritic cells here refer to "Langerhans cells" and these cells can be present in the epithelium and can move back and forth between the epithelium and the connective tissue. As for the macrophages, they are present in the tissues too and they are called histiocytes. Also understand that the body is always in a constant balance between inflammation and health.
Amazing animated video! . I have one query I have studied that macrophages already present in tissues are first line defence? . As u told in the video the neutrophils are released first
Sir Pleas inform me that I have Auto immune disease Ankylosing spondlytis suffering from 2016 a lot of fluid and soft tissue Swealing in my knee so my point is that can chronic inflammation damage the body Like my knee

Why macrophages dont come first,or why it takes time for the macrophages entry as compared to neutrophils
@@pranav6143 because they are large in size so it's not easy to cross the membrane for macrophages.
@@ayeshazubair3681 ah yeah, what he said ?
Leukotriens cause vasoconstriction and increases vascular permiability except leukotrien B4 that induces chemotaxis...right?
