As a visual learner, I was able to learn extravasation in under 3 minutes with this video. No 50 minute lecture needed. Thank You So Much!

I instantly fell in love with your work. Thanks.
ps. I have very few neutrophils due to leukemia and this a different viewpoint on how they operate so this video in particular meant a lot to me. Again I appreciate the time you spent doing this. Both the animation and the narration are very nicely done.

@@ju-qw8nd Thank you, hope you are doing well also! I just had a blood test recently and my numbers are much better. I get a complete physical in a couple months. I have been taking Ibrutinib which is working well for me. If it stops working, there are altenatives, so I have a good chance to live many years.

You missed out transmigration through the epithelial cell junctions by PECAMs, proteolysis of the basement membrane and migration to the site of injury/infection by way of chemoattractant gradient.

    • @e.b5911

Vigilance macrophages, immune cells which are usually tissue resident release chemokines. Also Mast cells release histamines which dialate the capillaries making the cell membrane more permiable for neutrophils to leave the capillaries and help at the inflammed/infected tissue.
