There's actual theories on if atlantis is real and where it would be located on the earth, one theory i watched that blew my mind (i'm talking existential crisis), explained how the location of atlantis would be the eye of the sahara (aka Richat Structure) and the evidence they provided for this claim was actually quite legit. Oh yeah, the Aquaman movie sort of made reference to it. With one of the 7 kingdoms of Atlantis the deserters going extinct when the ocean there city was located at had dried up into the Sahara.

Is this a bad time to point out it's never been proven that P.T. Barnum ever actually said "There's a sucker born every minute" - I first heard that from the movie of 'Matilda' when Mr Wormwood said "There's a sucker born every minute and we gotta take 'em for everything they got'. Alex understandably says: "I don't want to imagine it." And the general says: "Of course not. The Western World prefers to forget the crimes that made it rich."
