I got 165 WHP on my '06 10R (Pearl Solar Yellow) with A&R race baffles on the stock pipes when I had it flashed. Man, it felt like a different bike. It just had more beef in every RPM range and responded quicker to throttle input. It just pulled so hard in every gear from down low. Peak power doesn't matter as much as under the curve power. Like Moore says, flashing is the best mod for the money. It doesn't matter what intake, exhaust or sprockets you install when the base factory response of the engine hasn't been changed. You end up spending more money on parts for lesser horsepower and feel versus just getting the ECU flashed by someone reputable and knowledgeable. God bless!

I had a 2013 r1 and it had a major dead spot at 4500rpm. Had it dynoed at 159h.p. After it was tuned it made 163h.p. But what i was impressed by was not the h.p gain, it was like you said. The driveability.
Had a '06 with Akrapovic exhaust and PC3 in green though. Loved that bike. It ran damn good. Next to my s1k it was probably my next favorite bike I've owned. Bang for the buck it's hard not to go wrong with just about any gen zx10r from 1st to 4th.
That's a nice bike that was my daughter's bike it is actually bone stock new it came in Black and we crossed a pink and purple color together to come up with that probably got 7,000 miles on the bike

I have a tuned k8 GSXR1000 that makes 173hp 81tq. I raced 2017 CBR 1k, 2018 Zx10R 194hp, 17 GSXR1000, 06 zx10r..V4, 2014 S1000RR, H2 and many others and beat them all, the only bike that crushed me was a 2017 195hp S1000RR... HE was geared very low. The new bikes I can win from 50.mph until 150mph or so. Tomorrow I'm racing a 2015 Ducati 1299. tomorrow. I hope I can beat him at least until 150mph.
Don’t care for the pink and hate the chrome wheels. That said, I like seeing an older bike like this on here. I just picked up a super clean 07 R1 and I just think to myself about how much bike you can get for a really low price. Now to get my bike in your hands.

I personally love that color!! Could be his/her’s in my opinion. The Gen2 ZX-10 has always been one of my favorite. I had a 07 for years before I made the jump on to my GSXR. Now there’s no looking back, except too see who I’m in front of.... 🤣
I have a 2007 Zx 10 and it’s hard to believe that with that amazing motor you were only able to gain 4 miserable horse power , I am wondering if removing the other exhaust pipe was a mistake, the bike is smooth as it is, we all ride a bike for the crazy raw power, if I want a smoother ride I’ll just drive my car, I’ll be flashing my 07 this upcoming spring here in Cali and I plan in doing whatever it takes to squeeze every drop out of it hopefully I’ll get a lot more horses than that.

Ill pass on the chrome n oink..The bike responds well to a front brake calipar/mc update(gen 3 zx10,zx14 parts are nissan upgrades and direct bolt up)...Is your fan in front of the bike for cooling or to allow for ram air effects with the a/f ratios to?

before I send my ECU, should I let the bike read the new exhaust? I havnt installed it yet, but it is the same as this one, I am going from a dual to a single two brothers slip on. Should I ride it a couple times before sending ECU, or does that matter?
id love for you to do an 05 636, if i was in the states and still had mine id bring it to ya. i went to locant carquest with an attached auto shop an asked the guy if he could bend me an undertail straight pipe.... guy mustve been excited cause he only charged me $8 for the pipe and labor lol.. but id love to see you dino with the paper clip mod( a comon thing i was seeing was the ecu from europe was less restricted so you either buy one of those , a power comander at the time, or put a paper clip inbetween two of the pins on the ecu to get about 4 to 5hp) to see if its real, and just to see what a flash can do to that bike. Its by far my favorite bike i ever owned. And theres a ton for sale here where i am now for great prices so i might have to get another soon

Kevin M yeah looks like all manufacturers had a bike in 01-05 that was a wheelie monster. Back then frame design was in its pinnacle. Not mad at it but bikes back then had the power just needed some things changed around.
Nice "glazed" tire. Why don't you try sitting on the bike so it has the proper weight on it and the contact patch is increased? Also, why don't you shift the gears properly instead of just "whacking" it up and down the gears?

@@raptorhuntingful gen 3 cams should fit... I had the 2010 zx10r and put the 05 zx10r cams as an experiment and lost hp..lol so the 2010 zx10r cams should fit...2011 zx10r and newer is a whole different motor...
zx10power the first and second gen stock exhaust cam (have 292 duration 8.5 mm lift) and is the race exhaust cam for the 3rd gen (stock 3rd gen exhaust cam have 280 duration 8.5 mm lift) but the 4th gen exhaust cam have 293 duration 9.1mm lift and it’s drop in on previous gens (I have one installed on my second gen). The 4th gen intake cam is different so can’t be installed on previous gens without modding the cylinder head so it can swing, change valves, valve springs, retainers and buckets, the first and second gen intake cam have 300 duration 9.1 lift the third gen have 292 duration and 9.7 lift the difference in lift it’s whats makes the 3rd gen intake cam the best for all 3 gens and the best combo is the 3rd gen intake cam and the 4th gen exhaust cam for all 3 gens 👍🏼
Not really sure how much the flash would help on these bikes, that tune prob did all the power. I also had a huge lean spot right at 4k, but I have both my mufflers, so it seems like it's in the factory tune that goes bad once the exhaust is opened up. To anyone who reads the comments that has a bike, it is 100% worth the money to tune your bike! It's not about the power, it's about how much more smooth the response and power delivery is.

That color I believe is magenta🔥. And it looks pretty good with the chrome on this bike. I definitely wouldn't be ashamed to fly-by on this beast.

Gen4 for sure when the heavy restrictions started.. previous gens can squeeze a little with timing and rpm limit but nothing like the gen4 and up

I can't do yamaha flash. I can tune it through the power commander though on the dyno.

The first generation of the ZX-10R is the most wild from the factory.
Put the 2010 Zx10r cams in that and retune it should be around 175hp
