@@pwner830 ended up being a faulty fuel pump. Don't just swap the pump. Just order and swap the WHOLE pump and housing. Back to maxing out the speedo! 🏍 😆

I'm glad the double R handles great on track days. Because on the dyno and dragstrip they are a turd. And I'm a Honda guy (but have owned, and raced yami's, kawi's, and many monster zuk's. Honda around town, gixer at the strip.
Chris flashed and dyno my cbr1000rr made right at 170 at the wheel , I've done a few more things to it after that and got a few more things to do , going back in August we'll see what a honda makes hopefully in the 180's , side note he's drum is slick he's done a lot of runs on it possible needs a new drum

10NJ BYTES not with just a tune they’re not. The new zx10 makes over 190 flashed and tuned. But there are several 08 cbr1000s making right at 200 with Exhaust, flash and head work/cam. I’m in the process of building mine.

I’m 2007 my 07 CBR 1000 RR with a power commander and full Jardien pipe and BC filters made 158 HP by my torque was higher then most bikes. With the ram air on the road I was probably around 165 HP fast back then.
Everybody always talks about the cons of the Honda seldom do they talk about the pros and by turns like a 600 and ride smooth as can be on the street but there’s a lot of potential inside that motor all it takes is a little bit more compression with the cleaning up of the ports and you got a rocket on your hands keep it up Chris Moore
There are inexpensive bolt on mods this bike is obviously lacking. Should've been in the 165 -175hp range. No need to go inside the motor unless you're looking to venture into the 200 hp range..and that's just a matter of good head work and accompanying cams and of course 💵💵💵

Awesome dude. I had my 08 1000RR ecu reflashed with power commander and autotune. Removed the pwr cmdr and autotune. My #s were simular. Withpwr cmdr it was running really rich. After it leaned out and gained hp. My question or concern is i dont like how it idles,it LOPESlike ra-ra-ra-ra-ra the dyno guy said thats normal thats how its suppose to idle. Is this true and why wouldnt it idle at a constant raaaaaaa.?Thanks btw your video rocks.
Now I have a 2018 zx14r brocks flash ECU with his PC5 map, and it runs great. But my question is was the ecu still restricted with the pc5 map or not, because that afr was straight as an arrow.
Yep... the ECU was still restricted. The Flash is going to make more power anyway simply because you can't change Ignition Timing with just a PC-V. If the ECU is flashed, all of the "Restrictions" are permanently removed. All the PC-V is doing is supplying the AFR & Mapping in conjunction with the AFR & Mapping that's programmed into the ECU (fine tuning). If you "0" the PC-V, at that point you're running strictly the AFR & Mapping programmed in from the Flash.
@@wudntulike2no32 I think he was referring to the ECU in the video. The tune in the PowerCommander was spot on but, the ECU was still restricted... So, 143HP is the result on that particular bike. I wish @MooreMafia had just unrestricted the ECU and then ran it again with the tune in the PC to see what the difference would have been.

Does the rubber build up on the dyno drum? Looks like it's knurled. Can you treat the drum with DR traction compound? What kept the power down on the PC vs flash?
I have a 2014 cbr1000rr sp not the Repsol edition no abs how much power you think you can make out of it? Completely stock. It has 980 miles on its took well care of mint mint mint condition! Beautiful bike. I was thinking about getting a Brentune but I wanted to hear from you first on what I should do? In your opinion your the expert. It also has Perelli super course tires.
On a honda, 1000 miles isnt even really broke in. You are probably only making 90% of the power it will make after you get about 3000 on it. Hondas take a while to get their bearings and pistons worn in. I been riding the absolute shit out of mine, going through back tires and gas like crazy. At 10,000 miles its just now starting to feel like its making full power. It pulls way harder at 10k miles then it did at 2k. I kinda suspect this bike hasnt been riden alot yet, and the guy is thinking its like other bikes where they get best dyno numbers around 500 miles. Hondas take alot of miles and hard acceleration to get broke in right. It also looks like his bike is burning oil a bit, which further seems to indicate this bike isnt broke in correctly. (Ive seen hondas with 20k miles on them, slow as shit, because the owner never rode her hard, and the motor never got honed in correctly at high rpms.
The 08-10's are known for burning oil and it wouldn't surprise me the 11-16's are the same way since the motor didn't change drastically. It's luck of the draw if it does or does not burn oil. Mine doesn't but the two other guys I know that have the same model as mine do burn. Ones a fresher rebuild and eats oil like cake the other needs topped off every 2k or so

Different dynos will report different numbers. No 2 dynos will ever show the same exact dyno numbers. Dynos are merely a tuning tool to show the before and after differences.

Let me guess, you're regurgitating something you read online....if setup properly, dynojets will show very similar numbers...the key is setting it correctly.... I know a few dynos that read within 3 hp of each other pretty consistantly. Lots of shops purposely set their dynos to show big numbers...big numbers make people feel good about spending their money...until they get drug in a speed contest by a "lower" HP bike ;-)

Makes me wonder why guys cheap out on tires? I know they are a deal but when you want grip and traction why not buy one of the top brands! Lol this is exactly why my cbr is named TurdRR. Beautiful looking bikes...handling out of this world compared to other liters. My 2006 cbr had 164 whp..... And 114nm (bmc filter and full arrow exhaust). Measurements with that tire is fake, it slips continuously, it can't transmit power to the drum....
This one certainly dyno'd weak asf. There's several key mods not mentioned that should've been done prior to flashing this bike. For comparison, my 08 CBR1000RR (with only bolt ons) just dyno'd nearly 170 hp on a dyno known for reading lower than most in the area. This guys bike needs help and it's not just tire slippage.

Not to sure why your numbers are so low, but my 09 Fireblade puts out 175 hp from the factory.
Exactly what I was thinking. My gsxr 750 was 137 hp on the Dyno and the CBR 1000 was the only bike in 2007 that would catch me slipping.

Yeah they are reliable but make less horsepower but the 2019 Fireblade was faster than zx10 gsxr1k around Jerez so guess it's more track focused.

Whats been the best hp numbers of an 08 amyone?
I just had my 08 dynotuned and it made 170 hp with near perfect linear graph. This on a dyno notorious for reading lower than most in the area.
You sure it's not the clutch? I had a new KTM with clutch slip. No signs of a fault but dealer swapped it for a new one and it fixed it

Lol this is exactly why my cbr is named TurdRR. Beautiful looking bikes...handling out of this world compared to other liters. Power and top end is pure trash unless you're willing to drop 5k to get headwork done. Thats why I crack up when I see people selling a RR and say...too fast..not for a beginner lmfao
My 2006 cbr had 164 whp..... And 114nm (bmc filter and full arrow exhaust).
Measurements with that tire is fake, it slips continuously, it can't transmit power to the drum....

This one certainly dyno'd weak asf. There's several key mods not mentioned that should've been done prior to flashing this bike. For comparison, my 08 CBR1000RR (with only bolt ons) just dyno'd nearly 170 hp on a dyno known for reading lower than most in the area. This guys bike needs help and it's not just tire slippage.

Watch the 44teeth budget bike battle benidorm, they have a 05/06 gsxr 1000 that was doing that & they threw everything they could at it, well it ended up being a stretched cam-chain, def watch the video 👍
