I have a 2022 CBR1000RR tuned by Chris and I'll be honest I feel my bike has more hp than this bike. After the tune it felt like it was built by aliens haha. Chris does great tunes and I'll be damned if I've ever heard 1 person say anything bad about Chris's tunes!
No kidding I tune a lot of cars and any time I hear someone ask for a burble tune or pops and bangs tune I tell them to take that shit somewhere else. I’m not gonna have someone driving around with a sticker of my brand on their ride and it sounding like that 😂
I have a UK model SC77 2017. Woolich flash, full system, stock everything else and 186 horses. Pops and bangs will just piss people off and make the police more interested in you.
I would love for Chris to tune my 2019 Goldwing Tour DCT. You can just feel the restrictions. You can keep the pops and bangs tune. That's not appealing to me at all.
I like very few pops on decel so my feeling is that the option on this bike makes it sound worse, almost like something is wrong with the bike. Great tune as always. The CBR1000R is an amazing sportbike.
The Honda makes less power than a Gixxer but is also 11 lbs lighter. It would be interesting to see Kountry's bike set up like Chris' Gixxer. It's a shame that Hondas get a bad rap when there is so much potential. Anyone know Kent Stotz?
Stotz took the cbr1100xx black bird and made it kick ass and take names waayy back in the day....set records with it... Then he took the lil ol cbr1000rr and did the same thing..dme racing could run with it ... so they took he son off it and put him on their shit...lol

Still regret not ripping my ZH2s brain out and sending to you. I went with a local reputable tuner who ran the woolich program, but the first time it wouldnt work in road, rain or rider mode, only sport. Didnt make sense. They took too many attempts, had it too long, and only boasted 224hp on the dyno. The bike has full brocks pentacarbon, blocloff plates, turbosmart blowoff valve, sprint p08 filter, intercooler, power commander auto tuner, lithium battery, h2 swingarm, lowered etc.
Yella! These SC-77 CBR's have that pulsing idle at all times. Sounds lopey, like it's got a big cam in it. This is even before you change the exhaust, after you change the exhaust, before you flash it and after too! I have to watch the rest of this vid to see if your flash got rid of it... Seems like the popping would be cool for a week or two, but get annoying real fast. Also, i told the wife i was sitting on the toilet because i had the pops and bang tune lol. Thank you for the video. Peace✌
Chris how much would all of this cost to do all of this exactly the same to my 2021 cbr1000rr it’s bone stock currently just a slip on exhaust. I know I still would need to buy the header as well.

Was kind of wondering the same thing. He didn't mention the air restrictors being removed, or the pair valve system removed, which seems silly to me if they already went to the trouble of tearing it down to replace the velocity stacks.

What is it about the Honda engine that causes it to produce low in comparison to other manufacturers? This bike is far from stock and isn’t even close to the stock ZX10R you did that made 192bhp. This is a non Honda hating question, just curious.
From watching a tons of street races of this bike it seems that this bike has alot of mid range and lacks alot of top end power, it seems to always get the jump then about at 140-160 mph the other bikes pass it, maybe honda set it up more for street use rather than drag racing, if you notice the power curve from the dyno ‘s the power delivery is really linear compared to other bikes that make a huge jump in the higher rpms
I know they make great road racing bikes, Michael Dunlop did a 128mph lap of the TT course on a travelling marshals completely stock RR version on a recent 'demo' lap. I'm meaning more the basic core engine design. There's obviously something fundamentally different about the Honda engine design, I'm curious to what it is.
Don’t a fan of the pops and bangs. Only time I like them is when I hit the quickshifter to the next gear and maybe one or two when letting off at high rpms
For the life of me I will never understand why Honda lets their bikes leave the factory with so much less horsepower than the rest of the 1000cc competitors. I know hp isn't everything but damn.
Honda hasnt really done major changes to this bike since 2017 i believe... i think the main reason is to push more buyers onto the RRR which is much more powerful than the new zx10s so if you wan 200+ HP youll have to spend more
Can you make a small commentary on your next video about undercut transmission gears please! I have a 2012 Busa and wanting to know in what case would undercutting benefit the bike Vs not benefit. They might don't make the hp other literbikes make, but they are the most reliable. Good video 👍🏾
If it was detuned to pump 80whp, it'll be absolutely unkillable. No one cares if it's most reliable if it's slowest. 🤷♂️
All ujm are reliable. Honda is behind on hp but look good.
214hp stock lol cbr sp

Hey Chris, would you ever get a cbr rr-r fire blade?
Does the factory limit the throttle for emission ?
Yes
Love the vids and the tunes but I hate that noisy pop shit
Shoulda gave it the Vfr pop.
Still 20 hp under the competition. Including its CBR RR-R sibling.
Also half price!
