Lol that's my pig , Chris did a great job , since then I've order a Header and a penta carbon brocks slip on, ceramic wheel bearings , 520 chain conversion , carbon fiber v-stacks , taking it back to Chris in I'm hoping for 175ish

I've literally pulled up a dozen CBR vids, and so far, EVERY SINGLE ONE has this thick sound to it that I'm digging OH so much... Damn, I hate how Honda's are costly... And they don't have an FZ1 equivalent. Double damn.

The 2020 Honda cbr1000rrr sp i believe will put every 1000 bike to shame was in the uk for vacation this past week and rode one and boy I can tell you honda is back no longer the under dog Chris your gsxr 1000 has nothing on the new fire blade and im definitely a big fan of yours and never thought I'd say I honda would smoke your gsxr but honda has out done themselves now let the speed wars begin again.

I have a 636 03 and have a power commander on it right now. Well I still need to use the commander when I get it flashed. And I do have a 240 kit on it.
It can be tuned with the pc3 or flashed..Dont need both..Personally i would have it tuned in the dyno and flashed in the ecu..Not a fan of the pc..They can fail and leave you in a bit of a bind..Flashed directly in the ecu is always better..

I have cbr1000rr 2005. I want to remove the stock exhaust. Do i have to flash the ECU if i change it with aftermarket ( only the muffler,no decat and etc)?
I have a 2022 of this bike, is it the same motor? Would it require different tunes?

Impressive gain, if the cbr owner mailed you the ecu he would've gotten 160hp, but the fact that the bike was at the shop on the dyno, allowed to tweek another 4hp out of it.
Thats why i personally dont like the mail in..You still get a tune for that bike but its based off another..Your specific bike could make more or less without tuning and same with a full on dyno tune...Even better still for the most part is real world tuning which i why i like the woolich software/kit you buy and do all your own..

As a Honda owner, I must say, thank goodness they have great fit and finnish. And they handle fairly well stock. Because they suck ass in raw HP. And hop up parts anit cheap like a Gixxer.
Very nice bikes, but yes they always make less than the other brands.

What happens if you just import the map from the previous one with the full exhaust to this one? Would it be ok/enough or you would still have to tune it a little bit more for optimum performance?
It would be close but it wouldn’t be perfect it would still have some rich and lean spots
I am new too the sport/street bike scene. I’m trying to learn as much as I can. I bought a 2019 cbr1000rr. The only mods I e done to it are a factory installed oem quickshifter and a yoshimura alpha slip on. Do I need a tuner? Would an ecu flash help? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Flash it Moore will tune the know how the bike is running ..your style and iron it out with a flash

Is it normal to see around 20 hp less than what the manufacturer states the motorcycle comes with? I know being realistic I should see around 10 hp difference and that's from the hp channeling down to the rear wheel, but to see that much is crazy.

Yes you can get it flashed but it will be a generic tune from another like yours but not yours,there is a suttle diff..Dyno or real world tuneing is best..

Honda specializes in torque not so much HP. Can you tune to increase the torque?
Dont think you can do one and not the other without internal engine work..

... that's not low, all his other bikes are spot on. Hondas are just weak, always have been..
I dyno all brands on this same dyno. Watch some of my other videos and see how they compare. 165ish is normal for a CBR1000. The sad thing is an 2007 and a 2017 dyno about the same hp.
What I'm saying is watching other dyno videos they come up with bigger numbers on this Honda. Are the specs manufacturer puts out not even close to accurate either? Not trying be an asshole. I just bought this model and am genuinely curious. Since I want to flash it asap
@@pokekingdaprince1423 the specs are crank hp.. when they dyno the bike it measures wheel hp... honda claims 189 hp on these bikes, 10 to 12 percent drivetrain loss.. -18.9 =170.1 .. he said his other 2017 cbr did 169 with full exhaust. Seems spot on to me

Lol slow in a straight line. But they're designed to turn fast lap times on road courses with a well balanced chassis.
Mr. White I agree. When I had my CBR I felt really comfortable on turns. Straight line it wasn’t all that even with all the mods I did.

Honda really did good.
It’s hilarious when I think the 2006 Suzuki Gsxr was a monster and was only making 150 hp at the crank and riders could not even use that to its full potential. Now 165hp at the crank is slow😂😂also have to remember the Honda is lighter than all other liter bikes

Nothing special until you flash with a 500 rpm over rev. That’s when the power encreases
The power was already falling off before redline. 500 more rpm would have done nothing for this turd.
Pathetic power. This bike is not made for drag racing. This bikes shines on track. Super light and handles beautiful. I want to get mine tuned but not for power. I just want better throttle response the added power is a bonus.

Peter Herrington mine has a blipper. Only the SP models came with blippers it’s an option for the base model. And Honda quoted 189bhp and I agree the wheel HP is laughable.
I had a 2014 make 175hp after head work and cam timing on pump gas and 180 hp with e85 not a huge power figure i know but the torque is really nice 87tq but how they ride is amazing

To all the naysayers a dyno is a tool for tuning. Different dynos read differently and it can change depending on tons of variables. Learn something before spouting off nonsense.
