    Congrats, Dave, on your sales successes & deliveries this week. You show and explain all these vehicles very nicely. I especially like that loaded Trailblazer in the red & black color!

    Lease offerings are weird. I got lease quotes for an Equinox LT and Equinox RS last month. Even though there was less than $2k difference in price, the difference in the lease payment between the two trims was about $100 a month on a 27 month lease. Not sure if that was a manufacturer thing or the dealership wanting to move the LT more than the RS. I went with the LT, which has the same package that you showed here, but also with the 18 inch aluminum wheels. I like it so far and my dog loves it. My first lease and I will reevaluate the car market in two years.

    What’s your thoughts on GM’s plan on dropping Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support?

    • @DaveBsellsChevy
      @DaveBsellsChevy  8 месяцев назад +1

      It is what it is... As of now they are only dropping it on the EV's not the ICE vehicles... The EV's will come with 3 years of wifi data included so you'll be able to run apps to the screen with a gmail account... Iphone will still work via bluetooth, just wont have projection ability

    We had a Chevrolet dealer in Houston selling left over 2023 Traverse LS’ for $29k, $6k of MSRP, seems a good price, like to see you demonstrate a 2024 Traverse soon.

    That truck should be $35,000. These trucks are WAYYYYY over-priced. That goes for all makes. But it is just out of control how expensive they are.

    I am a diehard Chevrolet Silverado fan one thing I hate is that the speedometer is now on the left side. Dave do you know what the reason I only see it on German automakers. PLEASE let me know. Thanks 😮

    2025 Equinox brings big changes I guess. One big change I haven’t heard you talk about is GM going away from CarPlay and android auto. Interesting decision; I can’t imagine it will be popular with the customers?

    • @DaveBsellsChevy
      @DaveBsellsChevy  8 месяцев назад +1

      Only on EV vehicles... ICE will still have it. And the EV's will come with 3 years of included data so basically you'll have a functioning android system in the vehicle. Apple will still link via buetooth

    Just to bad Chevrolet is not really American made anymore. 33.3% of vehicle parts and manufacturing is North America on is the most of any model they have. Sucks.

    Dave, do you have any issues training a new salesperson? I feel like it would be difficult for me since they are essentially your competitor. If you give them all of your tricks and send them out to sale cars they are taking money directly out of your pocket. Some of the deals they make could have been your's so you loose commission. Training salespeople always seemed like it would be a weird dynamic to me.

    • @DakotaDeLarm
      @DakotaDeLarm 8 месяцев назад

      Still in training, at my dealership is mostly done by our sales managers or management in general. They spent a lot of time on the sales floor and/or in finance so they know what works and what doesn’t. If you’re generally a good person your fellow sales team members will give you good tips. Hope this helps :)

      I have no issues when the trainee is receptive to learn. I've backed off training people who where new to the business but "know it alls" on day one. In the case of this young lady I feel it is me passing the torch to the next generation.

    Leasing a vehicle is by far one of the biggest rip-offs that consumers fall for. Buy used vehicles and buy it with cash. Leasing a vehicle will always cost you more in the long run. Car companies make tons of money on car leases because what you pay over the lease term will almost always be more than what the vehicle depreciates over that time….yet at the end of the lease you have no equity and will likely have to pay fees for over mileage or excessive wear and tear. Not to mention you’re on the hook for all the maintenance over that period.

      Leasing works.. all depends on the lease program. some vehicles are better than others.

    • @OhioStateBuckeyefanstuckinMI
      @OhioStateBuckeyefanstuckinMI 8 месяцев назад

      @@DaveBsellsChevy Sure it “works” but it is always financially smarter to be frugal and save to buy a vehicle in cash. Anything with motors and wheels will always be a terrible investment when you lease or finance it. That is how people get stuck in a “middle class” lifestyle. I use to lease cars and care about how my “lifestyle” looked to others but I got on the Dave Ramsey plan and it absolutely changed my life for the better. Nobody “needs” a brand new car every three years. It’s throwing money down the drain.

    • @OhioStateBuckeyefanstuckinMI

      @@DaveBsellsChevy And I’m not trying to take a shot at your profession. I understand you have to make a living and need people to buy new cars but for the average consumer the price of new cars has people living well beyond there means and it gets them stuck in a never ending cycle of payments and debt.

    Interesting scenario with the lease. We have a manufacturer near here (Toyota) that offers their employees lease deals on their vehicles. (Friends of mine work there) The higher trim they get and the more options they add the cheaper their lease payment is. For example, a friend leased a Tundra TRD Pro for less than a lesser equipped Tundra would have been. He leased his wife a 4Runner TRD Pro that matched his Tundra and just kept clicking boxes. Each time he did his payment dropped. I kid you not, they added a branded water bottle and the payment went DOWN $3.00 a month.😂😂 Added a roof rack and it dropped by $9.00. Never used it but why not?😂😂
