I Love the Impala. Wish they kept them still. I had a black 2015 LS but it was turning heads when I 1st got it. Used to get alot of compliments on it even before I sold it in 2021. I miss it 😔

I have a 2003 C5 corvette with the original book, CD changer still new never used, the remote is still in its new packaging never opened.
Really fun video, Dave. That Impala is great. I own its sister car (2014 Buick LaCrosse) and it's fantastic. I would consider a newer-model-year Impala Premier just like the one you have when I'm ready for a new ride. These cars are super comfortable and get over 30 MPG on the highway. Also: glad to see so many new cars on your lot... finally!

Any vehicle from north or northeast (rust belt states), I’d request pictures or video of undercarriage with the car on lift. I learned from shopping for vehicles in past, a vehicle may look good but once you look at the undercarriage, it tells a different story. I’ve seen low mileage vehicles with undercarriage covered or eaten by rust!
Having lived in the Carolinas that isn’t specific to the Northeast (or the Midwest for that matter). It’s actually very common to have the exact same situation if a car has spent its life along the coast or the Appellation mountains. Also, depending on where a car is you just trade one set of issues for another.
I agree on one hand but after working 45 years in the car business, it’s not really necessary on this one. I’d be more concerned with poorly repaired collision damage. I disagree with the old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. From what I can tell this vehicle shows like a 1-2 year old car. Also, South Carolina has a coastline on the salty Atlantic Ocean. If this were 50 years ago I would totally agree with you about the undercarriage. I remember 2 year old vehicles with rust issues. Back then a 7 year old vehicle was usually a $200 clunker.
Congrats on your ordered vehicle being produced! I am looking forward to seeing more content on the Silverado EV. Glad the Blazer EV's stop-sale is lifted and even happier the prices have been lowered closer to where they should have been in the first place.

We’ve always saved the original window sticker, but I never thought much about it. Our 2017 Volt has the window sticker, brochure and since it has the all weather mats the carpet floor mats are still in the “trunk” in the original plastic.

Is that a new Colorado in the background? I’ve been working for a Cadillac, Chevrolet, and Subaru for two months now. Other than my Colorado ZR2 I’ve seen one other Colorado come through. It was on the show for three hours. Love my RZ2 other than the wireless charger and apple CarPlay.
Chevy Impala was actually a really nice car. Rented one for a long road trip. I had no complaints, and the interior was a step up from the Camry surprisingly.

Loved the Impala! Sedans will make a comeback. Quieter, better fuel economy, and safer in a collision.
Tomorrow will be an interesting day with GM talking to all dealers about the Tesla Super Charger support and the NACS to CCS adaptor.
Alloy wheel repair is about $150 where I live. No bog deal.

I’d be curious to see some example lease structures on the Blazer EV. How much w/ $0 down etc. My polestar lease is coming up in December and not sure what to get next.

A very nice impala. My son has a 2018 in blue, and it's a sharp looking vehicle. Very reliable car, and he expects to keep it for a long time. Unfortunate its not manufactured anymore. Not sure what his next vehicle will be.

I am so amazed how some people don't drive their beautiful cars that much. I love driving and if I had a new car I would drive more. I dislike in town driving but love long distance road trips. I suppose the owner of the Impala was elderly with health problems and couldn't drive that long or someone younger with multiple cars to drive. .
Back bumper with no scratches? So many cars I've looked at appear like nobody can put stuff in a trunk without scratching their car.
I read about the stop sale and price reduction of the Chevy Blazer EV on Motortrend recently and was shocked that a manufacturer would actually reduce their prices across the trims so significantly. In this day in age, everything's going up so it's refreshing to see someone reduce prices for a change, even if it wasn't for the best reason. And it's eligible for the federal tax credit of up to $7500. So a $60K Blazer with the $5600 price discount and theoretical $7500 tax credit, it then changes to a $46,700 Blazer! That's not bad at all, especially for a mid-size electric S.U.V. And if you get a basic trim in the low 50s (i.e., $52K) it then turns into $38,900! That's a steal!
And still no Apple car play , pass
Yes it seems great until you figure out if they really have worked all the bugs out of that car, I would still be a hard pass for a couple years….GM doesn’t have a good track record with new electric vehicles, first the bolt battery fires then the hummer ev bricking itself now the blazer EV with the stop sale from all its problems I would also be very Leary of the Silverado EV for a few years too, then you can snatch one when depreciation is hitting hard and bugs worked out
The reason GM dropped the price is because dealers couldn't sell them at the higher price.
I had a 2012 Impala that looked show room new had 50,000 miles never seen snow here in Illinois.I had every service record and I sold it last summer I got 14,000 for it and had back up buyers.Loved that car but needed to sell had one to many cars and with insurance rising decided to sell.

Apparently Hertz has some Silverado EVs in their fleet already. Must be pre- or early-production units meant to get them out in front of the public.
The Blazer EV's a much better value at the new price, a necessity because $50-60k midsize crossovers are the most saturated part of the EV market, everyone rushed into the segment because of the per-unit margin leaving huge unmet demand for smaller, cheaper ones like the now-discontinued Bolt.
Coming from a family who owned Chevy's, I vowed to NEVER buy one in my adult life. Constant breakdowns, no support, cheap cheap and more cheap. I've managed to keep that streak alive LOL
Most chevy owners trade in ther vehicle at 36,000 miles while the warranty and trade value is still good. They really maintain the impala very well

I was looking at a beautiful 2018 impala on Carvana. Bright bright white. Same package with the sunroof and leather. For $25,000. With 11,000 miles on it. Now you got me thinking I want that. Ha ha they’re not making full-size cars anymore. I really do miss them.

This guys like me, I still own my 02 Silverado I bought new it looks like this Impala, my 07 HHR SS still looks new, my 02 C5 looks new, and my 2023 Colorado Trail Boss looks newer than what it did when I bought it off the lot! One rule I stick by, I ALL WASY hand wash and dry with my special Fiber cloths and I NEVER park next to anyone, I walk long distances when I go into a store!

I always took care of my vehicles washed, waxed and detailed. I was fussy about my cars, in some cases it looked better when I traded it than when I bought it new. EV’s are a waste of money in my opinion. Overpriced and because of the extra weight the tires need to be replaced sooner. Spending an hour or more to charge it to go a couple hundred miles is crazy.
Well you’re sleeping during the night while it charges fool so unless you’re driving those couple hundred miles over night then calm down lol and wow tires that a lot cheaper than putting a new motor in 😂

I highly recommend getting a car, ceramic coated. If you can afford it. Which I cannot. Or at least, I do not want to pay for that. So I just have to keep washing and waxing mine.

Only buying a car for AC or AA is a weird flex but the impala fixed that issue in 2017 I believe just like other gms from 2015- present.

@@homeofinventions I install car audio for a living....nobody makes a dash kit for the Blazer EV and I really wouldn't want a cheap ass Tesla style unit that are usually buggy as hell and the preamp section is just awful
@@melissathompson7229 I agree with you there… removing the feature was a “ dumb “ idea to do but I believe they’ll learn they lesson like ford and switch back. Personally, I don’t need the feature and never really used it tbh. Most cars have a nav system today anyway
