On top of being just an animal on the field, his hatred of the Cowboys was epic. I dare you to find a video of Brandon Jacobs hugging a Cowboy after a game. Brandon was like the Jack Lambert of running backs. Giants fans will never forget him!
I still say he is still the most uniquely gifted running back to ever play in the nfl. 6'3' 265 and ran a 4.4 in the 40 nobobody close since except D. Henry
Other than maybe Mike Alstott, I think Brandon Jacobs may have been the best goal-line running back I've ever seen. Any short yardage situation, he was nearly automatic. Huge advantage to have a guy like him paired with Bradshaw, miss those days.
I have been a Cowboys fan for over 40 years and I watched this guy destroy our team over and over again .. I honestly believe if Dallas or Buffalo had a running back like this today in 2021 I would almost feel sorry for the opposition... This man was truly a locomotive!! At 1:25 It really shows how powerful he really was!
No offense to the my 2021 Cowboys and Zeke .. I would love to have a young Brandon Jacob's on my 2021 Cowboys entering the playoffs especially the way our defense is playing consider him as an Insurance policy you just took out to protect yourself.. Go Cowboys!!
Dude. Jacobs was a Cowboy killer. And it wasn't just these highlight runs. It was every run. Every time I watched a Cowboy defender tackle this man, I would flinch. He was just violence in motion. For sure an underrated Giant.
12:42 this is a what Deion Sanders was referring to when he said that a CB has to make a "business decision" when it comes to making a hard tackle in the run game. ; )
Too bad Tikki couldnt hold his opinions to himself, he and BJ were a very good giants. I dont know why BJ started stutter stepping in his later years, that made him very unproductive. But regardless, he was a great NYG RB! thanks for the memories and the uploader.
I think it says more about you that you're still whining over another grown mans opinion 15 years later - a guy who kept the Giants afloat during some bad years. Sit down.
Because Football is very political and coaches usually only have their own best interests in mind. There are plenty of guys who should probably be running backs but were either deemed too tall, too heavy or both
cause they cant run or they wear themselves down. derrick henry really isnt that big and he more of a agile back you never see him try and run over people he just big. jacobs could run and wanted to break you if you come at him
Because Jacobs is a rare breed. He was unusually fast for his size. Normally backs of his size can only plow. But he was agile and fast enough to put db's to shame once he got around them if he chose not to truck them.
I loved that he was an extra tight end or lineman when he stay to pass protect eli no elite pass rusher was going to get eli if he beat an olineman and had to deal with bj27 6'3 260 plus nope
I don't give a fu☆ck what anyone says Ahmad Bradshaw and Jacob's were the best and when Jacob's ran threw Lavin laundry on the skins I ve never seen something like it since
I loved watching him as a giants fan. But his career would have been HOF caliber at TE or Edge. He just got hurt too often at RB taking all those hits on his legs.
No doubt he was a beast, but in my personal opinion Peyton Hills was tougher and harder to take down. Peyton will hurt defensive players in the process of trying to tackle him .
He was even bigger than Derick Henerry he was a beast definitely under rated 💪🏽

Lol it seems after alot of further reviewing😂he did not like any scent of cowboys lol
Probably my.favorite Giant RB of all
Loved how he flattened most players trying to tackle him but especially cowboy DB"s
God I miss Brandon Jacobs. One of my all time favorite Giants players
I’m so happy for him. I went to the same hs and played in marching band while he CRUSHED EVERYONE IN HIS WAY IN SUGARLAND!!! Go Brandon gooooooo!!!!
Also slapped a newspaper on the cafeteria window when he hit no.1 🎉🎉
#morellecarter jr, coach franklin, and the d cent band in sugarland. 🥲I miss the days

Thank you for this!
So glad he came back to the G Men for a final stint in ‘13. That last 100-yard game on TNF was absolutely beautiful
Brandon personified Giants football
After every run he showed great sportsmanship. Patting helmets and helping the opposing team off the ground. What a great human being and athlete!
he was complementing them for being able to tackle him
@@Seabassty 🤣🤣🤣, got that right
Him & Bradshaw where one of the best duos for a couple years. This coming from an Eagles fan.
Earth, Wind, and Fire
No, it was thunder & lightning
@@Krymsyn_Rydyrnope, it was earth wind and fire. They had another back with them
@@eligutierrez9062 agree to disagree
@@Krymsyn_Rydyr you must not have watched back then.... No worries man
Jacob's was ,will always be a monster 2 rings need I say more.. I got his jersey 27.

You bugging. I’m choosing The Bus over him.
Waaaay better than alstott...wasn't even close at the goal line
Between him and Amani toomer had to to be one of the best underrated players of all time
Thank you thank you thank you
@@FreeRek16 my dads name Juan lol but u could also throw Hakeem nicks and Manning ham there for the new giants fans
I agree
So awkward to see the Giants dominating the scoreboard. Those were the good ol days.
Awkward nah, nostalgic👈🏿✌🏿

So awesome for you to compile so many great moments of BJ’s career. Such a great Giant.
2x Super Bowl Champion and NYG doesn't get both without him either
Man I miss those red jerseys
He was on the perfect team for his size. He WAS a Giant, He was Brandon Jacobs.
Thank you. I always said BJ doesn’t have enough highlight videos despite being a freak of nature
6'4" 270 with 4.57 speed. Scary AF
That giants team was stacked on offense, Jacobs, toomer, plexico, shockey, Manning etc
Really should have 3 Super Bowls 2005 to 2008.
When running was a legitimate part of the offense.
Thanks for this! Been looking for a good highlight reel of his for while. My man was such a beast.
I actually was fortunate to meet Brandon jacobs, really cool guy!
Can’t imagine being a 190 pound. Defensive back and seeing him running full speed toward me
Gosh I miss the days of the Giants dominating both lines
That OL especially between 2005 and 2010 were excellent at run blocking
The "Tip Toe Burglar" is an all-time great nickname haha
Nothing was more fun than watching B-Jac plow through defenders! Miss him greatly!
Brandon Jacobs should be in the Hall of Fame New York Giants
Doesn’t have the numbers
@@scratchlegba2944 Lmao how he has the touchdown record

THIS was Giants football!! They don’t make RB’s like this anymore!
Awesome that u made this long of a highlight reel for him. If he wasn't sharing touches with Bradshaw he might have been one of the best of his time
Awesome! Thank you! Jacobs was the epitome of bruising.
9:08 - Laying the WOOD on Rodney Harrison - lmao love it
6'4 260+...next level powerhouse
He was fast too
Back when the giants were actually watchable.
The Tiptoe Burglar. Man was punishing them out there.
He doesn't like that name, they were tryna call him soft lol

THANK
YOU!!
Jacobs is Derrick Henry before that hype
Damn he a beast!
Derrick Henry reminds me of this guy
Hall of famer
BIG MAN WITH BALL
He didn't have that home run speed but he was like a bowling ball
Too bad Tikki couldnt hold his opinions to himself, he and BJ were a very good giants. I dont know why BJ started stutter stepping in his later years, that made him very unproductive. But regardless, he was a great NYG RB! thanks for the memories and the uploader.

The 5 yd runs are the pounding that weakens the D going into the 4th. Not those one shot home runs.
Coming from an Eagle's fan this dude was fucking awesome
Couldn't stop Him wit voodoo
I don’t understand why more teams draft guys like Brandon as tailbacks. Theres gotta be more Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Henrys in college…
Because Football is very political and coaches usually only have their own best interests in mind. There are plenty of guys who should probably be running backs but were either deemed too tall, too heavy or both

Man that sh*t look like it hurts
Can we show @Giants what a offense line supposed to look like!!! Man we had some dogs back then 😔
Man what!
The title should read RUNAWAY freight train
Dam I miss mooch Deion and the gang for good morning football
It's like trying to tackle a rolling boulder.
I searched for this.
The House of Pain
Derrick Henry's football father
I don't give a fu☆ck what anyone says Ahmad Bradshaw and Jacob's were the best and when Jacob's ran threw Lavin laundry on the skins I ve never seen something like it since
My man was a' bruiser! Derrick Henry reminds me of him.
Two total different run style bro you’re trippin
remember when Giants knew how to evaluate talent!!!!
I loved watching him as a giants fan. But his career would have been HOF caliber at TE or Edge. He just got hurt too often at RB taking all those hits on his legs.
He Got 2x Super Bowls he good
I loved how his speed was never respected because they were to afraid of getting smashed by EARTH
Awesome. Made Urlacher look silly and took Ed Reed for a ride. 2 HOF'ers.
Wait till you see his son at DL!
Dude was 6’4 260 plus 😢😢
Bro’s latterly taller than his online
Tiki who?🤷🏻♂️
He ran too high
You folks never seen Otis Anderson. He was probably bigger
Otis Anderson's playing height and weight: 6'2" 220lbs. Brandon Jacobs': 6'4" 264lbs. You do the math.
Okoye 2.0
Derek Henry before Derek Henry with less speed
runs high at times
No doubt he was a beast, but in my personal opinion Peyton Hills was tougher and harder to take down. Peyton will hurt defensive players in the process of trying to tackle him .
All I seen was good blocking. Barley any broken tackles. Amahd Bradshaw use to destroy tacklers.
😂 only way to tackle yo was ankle tackle or double teamed
I Know The Defense Was Having Headaches Hitting That Guy
*Permanent spinal injuries & CTE
He was a novelty but not a great running back.
Imoss Him
Bro wanna be Derrick Henry so bad
This man was in the league a decade before Henry got drafted 😂
At 6'4" almost 270, Jacobs was the size of a Defensive End with that agility....That's insane
