- Detailed steps for finding and hacking Data and Relic sites in High-Sec.
100% safety hacking just the pirate-faction data/relic sites:
Data Sites will start with "Local [pirate-faction]..."
Relic Sites will start with "Crumbling [pirate-faction]..."
In High-Sec you might find (these will lower your 100% safety):
Lesser Sleeper Cache (low danger, need 80 pts Scan Strength)
Standard Sleeper Cache (medium danger, need 95 pts Scan Strength)
Superior Sleeper Cache (low danger, need 105 pts Scan Strength)
Lesser [pirate-faction] Covert Research Facility (VERY DEADLY - STAY AWAY)

So now I finally know who is cherry picking those containers in hi-sec.... Love to do the hi-sec sites because they do generate enough isk and yeah do the containers wo scan just for fun. Thanks for the pro tips on scanning, will certainly help me in my lill imicus without SOE scan probes. Never found a limited sleeper site in hi sec, but blasted enough ships on ghost sites (sadly, new astero after 1 week ). As a consequence I currently do hi-sec exploration in a yummie SOE nestor fitted with all SOE stuff, which can be used by alpha's (cheap frigate in bay for if I want to dive into a wormhole). Costed a ludricous amount of isk (up and close to 1 bln) but is a breeze to probe scan any sites. Drawback is speed against an exploration frigate., but the shield/armour will keep you from blowing up in ghost sites. Maybe do some vid on all the exploration ships and its usages for alphas like the praxis, gnosis and ofc SOE ones. As an alpha there are more options to enjoy the game then most people know of.

yes, SHAME, SHAME, i should not cherry-pick in high-sec, it doesn't really save a lot of time. i do cherry-pick when i'm hacking in Wormholes. because a hunter could be cloaked up right next to the ruins container. spending less time hacking will decrease the time you might get killed in a dangerous system. and the fact there's no local chat in wormholes, you don't know if you are truly alone.
- The ISK earn rate in high-sec, for me, has been about 10M to 50M per hour, that's not bad.
- a cargo scanner is still good to use, if a can is worthless you can explode it by failing the hack twice. this does add about 15-20 seconds, when hacking might take about 1 minute.
- you will see sleeper sits about as much as ghost (Covert) sites, maybe 1-2 during a 1 hour search. and the standard and superior sleeper cache sites will be too hard to scan down.
- "ghost" sites should be avoided until you know what to expect, they can be found in high-sec and can pay 100M ISK with medium to high danger.
- i have several techniques for hacking Covert "ghost" sites, both for a Heron (or T1) or an Astero, and i'm about to try out the Nestor (from your suggestion).
- i also have a new "untested" fitting for my Astero to both survive an explosion of 10,000 damage AND warp off from rat's warp scrambler.
- totally agree that the game is so much FUN for even an Alpha player.

yes but you need to be aware of bubbles as well
A cloak is good, but not having a cloak in NULL is almost as safe. Yes, having a cloak can save you from a warp bubble, but you can be smart and avoid them. The other draw back playing as an Alpha is your skills are limited a bit, but you can still scan and hack anything an Omega can. Having a cloak is the big difference between Alpha and Omega, and it’s mostly a convenience. Exploring as an Alpha is great for a 2nd Account and then you can support an Omega with PLEX.
Can I learn to play this game within 5hours?
Yes, but there is so much to learn, and in 5 hours you can have fun and make up to 50M ISK.
