    There are tons of raw footage. Much of the time I don’t know what I’m looking at. Or rather, I don’t know why I’m seeing them what they do.
    The commentary is great. Keep up the great content :)

    I usually skip the algorithm 1k view fg videos, but you got something good here. Your commentary is the least intrusive, most DVD-director-extras style I've heard. WAY better than clip channels uploading raw footage. Especially in the early life of a fg, this informative content is so good.
    Here's how I show that the video's good on its own merits: fuck Honda.

    Looks like MP or other stuff into target combo (LP>MP)>M Headbutt is really useful. And safejump HK after in the corner.

    Nah love the commentary keep it in also would you consider doing videos on basic stuff like you mentioned buffering your super against the Zangief player what does that mean and how do you do it

    • @Chachironi
      @Chachironi  Год назад +1

      I'll see if I can find other stuff to include in a basic / intro type video.
      But buffering means I was doing doing the motion of the super while I was waking up.
      If I saw something I could react to, all I had to do was press Punch for the super to come out, because I was "buffering" the motions the entire time.
      The benefit of this is that you can react to things with special moves faster because you've already completed the motion and just need to press the button.
      If the opponent did nothing. I would just not press punch and decide to block instead.

    Didn't finish the video but I'm curious to see your play style since I'm in the top 15 Hondas in master rank. My style is incredibly aggressive with lots of buttslams to get in. Gonna add in I just checked I'm now the 4th highest Honda yee haw

    • @Chachironi
      @Chachironi  Год назад

      My Honda brother. I wasn't sure how much I should be using slams, I mainly use it to extend pressure atm instead of getting in but I'll experiment with it in neutral.
      In most matchups I focus on playing on the ground since his buttons and headbutt are so good and try to get them in burnout that way.
      I go more aggro in matchups like Guile where I have trouble playing my normal game.

    • @berimb0l076
      @berimb0l076 Год назад +1

      @@Chachironi buttslam flying up has surprisingly good range so in a way you can poke with it, and its a good way to catch people jumping away. Also if you start throwing out raw slams mix in light and heavy ones since people go for perfect parries. Also if you get a punish counter with the second hit you can get some meaty damage with stand HK into sumo dash or some nasty reset throw mixups

  • @Kuzushi42

    Great fights, I notice you DR every time you have the chance to apply pressure instead of doing sumo spirit. Is sumo spirit not worth using or does it depend heavily on the matchup. (like characters who Honda can't get into).

    • @Chachironi
      @Chachironi  Год назад

      Do you mean DR? I tend to use DR after knockdowns because you're often close enough to hit DR s.MP or c.MP which leaves you very + for pressure.
      That seems like more immediate value vs Sumo Spirit where you lose pressure and have to get a combo or a confirm to benefit from it.
      After you Sumo Spirit you're back in neutral and have to find a way to get in again.
      The only time I use Sumo Spirit is when the opponent is playing very safe or I get a knockdown and want to keep a life lead instead of going in with DR.
      Personal preference though, I see Marvisto who's a very good Honda go for Sumo Spirit instead of DR.
