  • Here's insight into #corestrengthening and #bilateralstimulation I've been cultivating on my yoga mat lately to prepare for standing poses. Join me, Lerin, RYT-200, TIYT-II in sharing a compassionate personal yoga practice in bite-sized pieces intended to cultivate a sense of rooting & grounding while moving gently to build strength.
You're invited to make this yours in a space that feels safe and supportive, and on your schedule. Choose to practice as a stand-alone session or in sequence with others (make a playlist). Take what you need, and leave what you don't.
    What to expect:
-seated & supine core-warming poses with hip-flexor work
-no background music (choose your own!)
    -emphasis on choice-based language
-peak pose: "down-dog" or supported quadruped with twist
    Practices:
    -wide-leg fold
    -side bends
    -half-boat pose (low & high)
    -supine cross-crawl
    -bridge pose
    -half-locust pose
    -Downward-facing-dog pose
    -twisting dog pose
Recommended* "props" (*not required): blocks or stack of books, blanket or towel
