Hi Joe, I can’t believe how much hard work those gates are totally amazes me when they restoring that they do not use a slide system which is automatic. It would save a lot of water and energy. Anyway suppose they do not like that for many years. How would Aussie would know about that? Anyway, keep up the good work. Sour dough looks good , from Australia
Bread in hot weather is always tricky. Humidity is not a friend either - take it from someone who lives in the tropics. A lot of things that need to rise are an issue - Yorkshire Puddings mostly turn out like frisbees and just as hard. Bread tends to be dense - about like yours just turned out. Don't blame yourself, it was the weather.

I’m not going anywhere! Just left the Aylesbury arm (which is a narrow canal) and joined back up with the Grand Union again which is a wide canal 😂

Good to see you back. Do you not have fenders to keep the boat from scratching?
So fenders are only meant for mooring up. They can get caught in locks and ripped off / even cause you to get wedged in locks believe it or not! There’s thicker bits of metal on the sides of the boat designed to take the brunt of scrapes etc. It’s just a bit painful when you’ve spent ages painting it all nicely! 😂

I’ve always just looked down either side of the boat, even without anything on the roof it’s a struggle to see over the top direct ahead
How far behind are your videos to where you are actually on the canal?. I live near the canal not far from the marina on the left as you come into Milton Keynes and you are about 10 miles away from me.

For the effort and buying ingredients is it cheaper to buy loaths off bread from the supermarket and just freeze them 🤔
Oh 100% cheaper, but just read the ingredients on any supermarket loaf. Probably 20 ingredients. This is traditional bread made with just four - Flour, water, salt and natural yeast. This is a good watch - ruclips.net/video/FovIyqov1uA/видео.htmlsi=bWAOeBIDwbU47BJx
I think the freezer compartment on lady Penny Bun, if there is one at all, would just about take a packet of fish fingers 😂
