Henry Baird was outlining that the drumming of this song isn't always given as much credit as it should, the organ, music and guitar isn't really considered underrated because it is always being praised, and rightfully so because the vocals are amazing, the organ is also really great and the live version for this guitar solo is better then the studio guitar solo in my opinion, and these are all commonly said. Also Robby Krieger is playing bass licks on his guitar at times. That was very advanced for the time. Classic band. Grew up with them. Still play this.

Fun fact is that Ray Manzarek, the keyboard/organ player, played the bass sound with his left hand while doing the organ solos on his right hand. The Doors didn't have a separate bass player, however they recorded their music with a real bass. Bass was played by Manzarek during concerts only.

I was born in 1978, only just realised how great the DOORS are. I love how Jim does not dance around like Jagger, Bono or even my favorite Vedder. Jim is just far too cool and in the moment. Love him. One of a kind for sure, wish he was here still..... COME ON BABY LIGHT MY ....
almost 10 minutes, they deserved a raise
Listening this on 15th May, 2024
I have never watched a 60s music video of such clarity & definition thank you vivo for making videos like this
This is actually ripped from the full concert. The Doors Live at the Bowl '68
Glad Gladiator you really think vevo existed in 1968
Vivo?
Vivo in spanish means Alive xD

Almost 2022, and I'm still hearing these beautiful masterpieces from 60's decade.

I have never taken their drugs except alcohol, but still can emerse in their music, I must be a freak...😂😂😂
You're on right way dude, coz Jim was a drunker 😂
Old Rockers Never Die.... 50 years already... RIP Jim
Fun fact is that Ray Manzarek, the keyboard/organ player, played the bass sound with his left hand while doing the organ solos on his right hand. The Doors didn't have a separate bass player, however they recorded their music with a real bass. Bass was played by Manzarek during concerts only.
Man he's still is always will a rock, god 🙏 god bless 🙌 the fantastic, the legendary the doors 😊😊😊🎉awesome, god bless 🙌 😊.

Jajajaj
Jajajaja

I was 17 when Jim passed away!!!
