  • This 15 minute workout focuses on rebuilding all aspects of thumb and finger dexterity after stroke. This workout is best for survivors who are able to move their fingers but have trouble with fine movements. No special equipment needed.

    Great video Elyse!! Can you apply these exercises for Parkinson patients? Also if Parkinson patient has rigidity on one side what do you recommend in this situation?

    My arm muscles are too tight to let my fingers relax. What can I do to relax my arm?

      If you’re having pain or discomfort with any exercises, stop. Talk with your doctor or therapist to make sure what exercises are appropriate for your situation!

      This video is probably too advanced for you. Start working proximally at the shoulders and shoulder blades. I have several videos that cover this in my upper body workout playlist. We need proximal stability and strength before working on fine movement of the fingers.

      Right ! I can’t even move one finger
      That’s why I lose hope , im bored because 😮 that excersides are for patients can move theirs finger , I can’t! My left side is affected
