There should be another approach to these issues, than the police. People that can and will help change and work on these social issues, to where communication not be their job. They could focus on CRIME, like literal murder and r@pe instead, perhaps. Those areas are neglected, no matter how many fancy TV shows get made to showcase “cops that care: special murder unit” . Heck, the medical shows are similar as well. Why didn't Dad make sure Your abuse was reported to CPS? How come you didn't? Will your siblings be abused for as long as neither of you do the right thing?
I just don't plan on even getting married unless it is with the one absolute right person, honestly I want to be child free so I don't end up putting myself in this kind of position

Who or what is standing in your way of doing what's right? Will your siblings and you endure abuse if you don't report it to CPS? Seems to me, no one has really told you all your options. Including your Dad! He's your hero! But, he sure didn't report the abuse to CPS obviously! Are your siblings being abused? Who will be their hero while no one is reporting the abuse? Your mom is straight laced, your dad is cool... you chose dad! But, if illegal drug use, and alcoholism is your dad's choice over not reporting abusive mom.. That's cowardly! I am learning so much from these videos on how to deal with my narcissist ex-husband and the father of my children. In a year my last child will be 18 and I won't have to deal with him anymore.
Caleb is becoming an inspiration for me, he fought for his kids, he made sure they knew he loved them, he refused to let the mom win because he knew what she and the step dad were like. Also he is so brave to say police have a bad reputation to their face, man said acab way before us Gen Z kids
He must have really come to resent his mother and stepfather. I’m hoping all is well now. So sad to see a family so splintered. No idea what kind of a dad you were but that young man really loves and respects you clearly. Hope he’s in college! Best of luck to you and Your son!
Fifty years from now, Caleb's birth mother will still be like this, still destroying his life anyway she can, and she'll find people who are still supporting her because they haven't had any sense one moment of their lives.
Isn’t withholding someone’s property with the intent of never giving it back, larceny? I can understand it being a civil lawsuit when you let someone borrow it and they won’t give it back but he didn’t let the mom borrow it he let their child borrow it. This means the borrowed item can be taken away by the mother because she’s in custody of him but once he has his visitation (his custody) the item must be returned as it does not belong to her. No longer a civil issue and then becoming larceny. Anyone know? 😂
Actually it probably is because all Parker wanted to do was talk to his dad. Mom has issues because she thinks that dad is a bad influence which he isn’t. So I’m surprised that she had not been arrested for custodial interference meaning not allowing Parker to decide who he wants to live with. He was old enough at the time this was going on. Like the first time I saw the video about Parker not wanting to go with mom after drop off and saying so. He was 14 at the time and was of sound mind and old enough to make adult decisions like who he was more safe with. But mom somehow manipulated the system to where Parker had to stay with her. What the judge should have done was ask Parker who he wanted to live with
To my understanding, taking someone's means of communication (especially to a parent) is a form of abuse. At least it is where I live. I don't want to make any assumptions about this family or their dynamics but if it is stated in their court order that he can communicate with his dad (which obviously he can if he gets to spend weekends with him) then I don't understand taking the phone from him UNLESS he got in trouble and that was part of his punishment, in which case mom should have communicated that with dad and given dad the phone when he arrived to pick up the kids. They keep playing too many games with one another. Not my place to say who is playing what with whom but definitely heart breaking that the kids are always the ones caught in the middle. Mom and dad don't like each other, fine, just don't display that to y'all's kids cause as she said in the 1hr video, this, too is an "adult matter."
Idk in Texas but our state has it written in the parenting guidelines that the child is to be allowed to freely call the opposite parent (outside of normal bedtime hours) and the parent in charge is to not interfere….this includes taking away phones. There are consequences.
I don't think he understood they had been separated for years and years and she's been in another relationship for years some cops think if you are fresh out of a relationship its civil because its communal property so he probably assumed yeah he shouldn't have she should have went to jail and she knew that that's why she handed it over real fast when she saw all the cops and made some lame excuse been there with my ex he stole everything and I mean everything house cars everything but he had the cops in his pocket to
I’ve always wondered what happened to this guy after the video years ago. Just ran across it again, and saw y’all had this page. I hope everyone is well, healthy and happy. ❤️

Right, because apparently theft is civil now 🤷♂️. He did say just the right things to change their minds tho. It's a pity for those who don't know how to speak with cops however. We shouldn't have to tip-toe around them like that.
There should be another approach to these issues, than the police.
They have very little knowledge or education in civil issues, in deescalation, in human rights, in disputes that need people with specific knowledge and training in those areas to assist or be the ones to handle it.
People need their human rights to be better in the U.S. seriously better than they currently are, and have been.

Sad but true.
I believe it’s Parker’s mom not Caleb’s 😅
Sadistic people love to sabotage people they cant control
@@melodysteeley3417 Over decades, Melody. They never stop until they're dead.
I don't think he understood they had been separated for years and years and she's been in another relationship for years some cops think if you are fresh out of a relationship its civil because its communal property so he probably assumed yeah he shouldn't have she should have went to jail and she knew that that's why she handed it over real fast when she saw all the cops and made some lame excuse been there with my ex he stole everything and I mean everything house cars everything but he had the cops in his pocket to
She certainly didn't just get the message....This woman is deplorable...she's one of those parents who use their child to hurt the other parent.
OK, I was recommended a video of Parker standing up to his mum and now I am here watching more videos, this woman is crazy for real..
I think Parker is brave and cute! WE LOVE YOU PARKER!
Totally skipped the question on if the officer was recording
Legend says years later the step dad is still holding the baby
Just started watching everything, my heart cried for Parker, getting into the mother's truck.....
I hope Parker is OK & Caleb too xx
"did you take my peppermint patty out or did you let it sit in the hot sun?" 💀
Sounds just like the mother. SMH.
Double binds. Classic narcissist.
I’ve always wondered what happened to this guy after the video years ago. Just ran across it again, and saw y’all had this page. I hope everyone is well, healthy and happy. ❤️
We’re much better now. Now all I really have left to do is help get the deadbeat attorney general of Texas Ken Paxton unelected in 2022 so that he can face his felony fraud arrest charges as a civilian.
Very smart to document everything. And your wife I believe backing you up is more amazing! I’m proud of y’all for sticking up for Parker. He definitely needed that support, esp from her. I’m sorry y’all hadda deal with this . No child should have to go through this
That was my mother and sister, but I see what you meant. And thank you.

Caleb is such a good dad! And WAAAY cuter than stepdad!
Yes, she definitely downgraded. Maybe that's why she's so angry. 🤣
so true.
I can also see where parker gets his looks from lol
Wow...this was filmed 6 years ago and all these comments are just now
Holy there's a whole entire crazy lady story!?! Let's go so many fathers need this. Loved the first video I know I'll love this one. Love this father
What a badass of a dad
I’m an ex wife and I would never behave like she does especially around my kids. She may have custody but, he is their dad and he has rights, too. She’s using her kids as pawns!
My ex did that my son lived with me for 7 years and she still got everything
