Had one school principal tell me he only wanted an officer if he/she was unarmed. Told him that was a deal breaker and that I would not assign an officer anywhere without all their issued equipment. The police chief backed me up.
90% of adults cant solve even simple mathematic equation and have nearly zero knowledge of basic physics. If ignorants will "teach" kids, they just create more ignorants. Thats not system solution, thats going back to medieval times.
I’m sorry there are much better ways to protect our children start with teachers that had the resources or children to walk through a metal detector instead of having a police officer there all schools windows should be bulletproof instead of having this police officer there all doors should be bulletproof instead of this police officer there. I’m sure this police officer is a fine person, , but if a child has a bad day, this police officer is going to protect himself. The object is to keep guns out of schools, not change the environment with an armed police officer, walking the halls😢
