For me the unsung hero for the Ezio series was Jesper Kyd who composed the soundtrack for the entire series. That soundtrack was one of the best ever for a video game and I still listen to it at times. Gives me the chills
At 3:08 he was steeping out at the light, heading to confront the Borgia in non-assassin's manner like Altair in the beginning of the previous game. Yet he stopped and reverse back into the dark, signifying his embrace of the Assassin's way. Which ultimately lets him avoid the trap and killed the target. 10 years ago i thought it was just a cool "aha" moment. Now it seems a lot deeper in context. Such symbolism is what makes good storytelling. This trailer and the game aged like fine wine over the years.

@@super018 remakes, remasters and reboots are all different. Remakes are the game made again from scratch whereas remasters are the same game but… well, updated basically. Remasters are just one massive update to the visuals, performance, bugs, etc.
Rewatching this and revelation trailer, I came to the conclusion that Ezio has some legs of steel. Man dropped from what looks like 40 feet rooftop and was totally unfazed. He didn't even roll 😂

Ubisoft should do remakes from the ground up of the older titles of the saga, with exactly the graphics of their older trailers just like this one. That would be 🔥🔥🔥

Sure, some of the later ones might be better graphically and story wise, but for me, in terms of where things were for the franchise everything about this is so good! It's a perfect short story about what the whole franchise is about.
Hollywood would definitely ruin it. So let's just stick with the awesome games. Ezio doesn't deserve to be tarnished by people who don't care about him 😅
I'm playing AC right now. The first game on Series S, and will work my way through them. TBH. I own every single game and all collections that was released. I got Ubisoft Plus so I can enjoy AC Shadows when it drops. I never really played or really started. So I'm finally doing it... Also own the Chronicles Trilogy. So many great games. I love this trailer. Amazing Games
The game was heavy curtailed by the hardware of the time. Video only needs to be rendered once (give or take), whereas 3D graphics need to run continuously. If the graphics are too complex, then the hardware will not be able to run it properly if at all (think slideshow). I don't know about this trailer specifically but animated films use what is called a *render farm* which is essentially huge numbers of computers running a render process. A single computer or console is not going to be able to keep up with that.

But it‘s possible with game engines like Unreal Game Engine to reach this graphics like in this trailer. I want to remake AC2 game in this cinematic graphics, I know it will be not so easy, but it‘s a try and experiment.));)

Perhaps he caught on that it was a trap? That he was being goaded on
The target said his plan to trap Ezio out loud so maybe he overheard it and that's why he used the gun.
The work put in on rendering this trailer alone was worth pre ordering because it captures the atmosphere of the game

This is the most epic trailer I've ever watched along with Brotherhood and Revelations. And this was a good start of the Ezio Saga.

Pause at the right moment when Ezio fires his hidden pistol you can catch the bullet and on the bullet is the Assassin's Symbol.
