    Any idea hoe to disable the bios and admin passwords? I've acquired an ex-work laptop but its pretty useless without knowing these passwords

      You need the password to disable it

      It is likely the main battery

      @@ItsBinhRepaired Thank but sure that most to all units has a coin cell battery for cmos. Guess I will have to strip completely to see if there is one. Thanks again for your response.

      Check eBay for the motherboard. No point stripping it down just to find that.

      @@nedesenrab9203 a lot of laptops these days don't have dedicated cmos battery anymore.

    The free M.2 slot is just for WWAN (4g / 5g card). It will not support an SSD ;)

      @@ItsBinhRepaired you can see the the hint printed on the motherboard
      the MAIN writing - for the MAIN antenna cable - usually the black one -
      the AUX1 writing - for the secondary antenna cable - white
      Unfortunately it seems that your laptop does not come with preinstalled antennas like most others actually do
      Nevertheless thanks for the video, i was searching for a good quality video to see the cooling configuration as i want to upgrade from existing 5310

      I think it uses the main battery as the cmos. I'm not sure.

      The CMOS battery integrated into main batter if you want to do a reset just unplug the battery and leave it for 10 minutes

      Have disconnected main battery and leave it over night. But bios password still there. :(@@CradaOC
