    It is totally worth driving all the way there. This is such a great hike, with some moderate part due to the terrain. Looks like you are the only one there. I would love to see the race tracks. Awesome pictures! Your video is getting good traction, that's fantastic and well-deserved. Have a great week Eric and thank you for taking us on this great hike!

      I only ran into like one couple along the hike but that was about it. Yeah there's like one part that is steep uphill in the beginning. Glad I was able to retrieve these pictures of the Racetrack. I actually logged into my old Facebook that I disabled to retrieve them lol. Yeah I am thankful that this video is doing well and same with the last one. I'm going to ride this wave and put out 2 videos a week for now! Getting closer to monetisation! Very cool. I've driven past these a few times on my way to the Racetrack. My first time I traveled to the Racetrack, I continued on down to Saline Valley via the Lippincott Pass road, which was absolutely awesome... but a little steep and very rocky. Definitely need a high clearance 4x4 and some time. I'll be stopping to check the craters out the next time I'm in Death Valley, which will be next week! Yes, I finally got out of AK for the winter and I'm stoked! Thanks for getting me primed for some Death Valley action, Eric! - Mike

      Oh, I'm so happy for you that you're going to get out of the cold for a while and come to the second hottest place on Earth! Yeah, the craters are definitely worth the hike, as you can see. I do plan to go back sometime this winter and actually hike down to the bottom of Ubehebe Crater because it was highly recommended to me after I already went! Well, I hope you have a wonderful trip out there, and thanks for checking out another video of mine 😀.

    Are these volcanic craters or impact craters? Either way looks like a really cool place to explore. At the race trace there doesnt seem to be a clear cut leader in the race yet. LOL.

      Hey Lance 👋. These craters are volcanic. They do look really cool and next time I actually want to hike down to the bottom of it! At the Racetrack the fact that all the rocks can move means that they are all winners 🏆 in my book 📖. Thanks for checking this out brother 😀.

    One small correction: you state that Death Valley is the second hottest place on earth, after the Sahara. In fact, DV is officially THE hottest spot on earth (declared to be so after some of the temp data recorded in Libya was shown to be inaccurate).

    I'm surprised the NPS doesn't allow drones in the area.

    • @adventuringoutdoorswitheric
      @adventuringoutdoorswitheric  3 года назад

      You know I feel like all national parks just don't allow them. That's the main reason why I never got one. Too many restrictions and I know some RUclipsrs who have them but barely ever get to use them. The ones filming in other countries use the hell out of their drones do to the less regulations. Thanks for watching my friend!

    • @R32R38
      @R32R38 3 года назад +1

      @@adventuringoutdoorswitheric I've heard elsewhere that using drone footage in a monetized You Tube video is legally considered "commercial use" of the drone and requires going through all sorts of licensing paperwork.
