"And, uh, we'll probably also need some spells from you just to- that information you offer, it's- it's very lucrative, it's just that... I mean, c'mon, it's a minotaur's baguette, you know what I mean?" *Gold.*
The idea is that the wizard spends a small portion of "himself" in enchanting the item, so the direct answer is no, the warrior would not lose xp. It's part of why magical items are so rare and expensive. However, since this is D&D, there might be some rule or houserule where the warrior might lose the xp instead of the wizard through a ritual or something similar.
Dear youtube, stop freezing the fucking videos in the first two minutes. No, you don't get a thank you it shouldn't be happening in the first place. A side note, I love these role plays. It's worth sitting through the same 30 second ad twice in my opinion.
A master salesman would know that you could take the wizard's magical item and, even if you don't have anyone to use it, could just take it to another town and sell it there. :P
The problem is, if they get together it will just be temporary and they'll break apart but still be stuck together because the strange laws of physics that keep all the PC's on the same planet. In the end everything afterwards will just be a bloody mess and everyone would want the ability to go back in time and make sure it never happened.
They should wish one of their backup swords to be enchanted with the same properties as the blood sucker sword used to have before being damaged by acid.
You misunderstand my question, what I meant was are we talking about PC wizards doing the enchant themselves? Or does xp loss also carry over to, say, a warrior PC requesting a wizard NPC to enchant for him? (The warrior being the one to lose xp of course.)
Sure, I understand. Just trying to ascertain whether the party should be asking these wizards to spend that gold they are trying to shift on enchants for their gear.
the bloodsucker sword isn't really that good now with how good Vincent is with a normal sword it was just good for how early they got it and against a bunch of very weak enemies like the hobgoblins
In a world where half of the people are fighters and the other half are magic users (including clerics) it's absolutely amazing how there are no items to be had (or sold) pretty much anywhere. You need to reconsider your magic item availability Neal. In addition, this would reduce the stupid lame slow part of the game where they waste 3 weeks buying and selling and can focus on adventuring. Youre letting the ratio swing towards the mundane. Let them buy items, let them sell items

I laughed at "They're gonna eat this ass."
After 27 weeks, this was finally the episode that got me to sub to JP's twitch... I was not disappointed
Thank you JP, Neal, Gen, Ryan and Geoff. I really mean it. I'm drunk but that's not afffecting my reaction.

"we could listen in on Dalimar" wow Abigaels genius is showing!

It's THE best moment in rollplay, no doubt about it.

It wasn't a stupid question. Sand is really hard on horses legs and they have a hard time moving through it especially on hills.

We're going to need a Stink roll on that last Fart.

Azril's going to step into the portal, miss the dragon, and plummet to his death isn't he?
"Where are we gona get 500 JPs?" "Give it another week......."
They should wish one of their backup swords to be enchanted with the same properties as the blood sucker sword used to have before being damaged by acid.
OH my god. Bregor want to use his animal impaity, he wants to tie the dragon to a tree. It will all end in chaos

You misunderstand my question, what I meant was are we talking about PC wizards doing the enchant themselves? Or does xp loss also carry over to, say, a warrior PC requesting a wizard NPC to enchant for him? (The warrior being the one to lose xp of course.)
Sounds like it's going to be JP doing the falling...
Oh my god this cliffhanger!
And JP's new character isn't too far behind
Honestly, if Lisa becomes Lisa Longborn, I think Geoff should just control what she does/says for the rest of the game.
at the ending, WHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT
Gen is really determined to make Abigael/Bregor a thing, isn't she?
Sure, I understand. Just trying to ascertain whether the party should be asking these wizards to spend that gold they are trying to shift on enchants for their gear.

JP WANTS TO DO WHAT?!?!?!?!?
FUCKING CLIFFHANGERS. DAMMIT JP
For a PC wizard or for the PC requesting an NPC wizard to do so?
The question is... is a Tarrasque considered intelligent? :D
Yes, but it costs XP to do so.
Wow that end ffs might as well say fuck you RUclips every time
So do people actually know what happened or are they theorizing
Lol i hope he lands on it and its all cool then the dragon just eats him
Can't wizards enchant items?
Shh, don't spoil!
WHY END IT THERE NOOOOOOO!!!!
why don't they ask these wizards to charm their weapons and armor?
Roll another character, by the sounds of it.
PC wiz, NPCs don't follow EXP rules so strongly(if at all)
