I have 2 questions 1. what is the difference between nature style, diorama, Iwagumi, Brazilian styles. 2. If I give you a choice to choose a filter for that 4 feet tank what will you choose eheim classic 600, eheim pro, oase biomaster 850
One of the best videos I have seen in a while when it comes to scaping. What a genius Steve is in his business. What little details he thinks about. Thank you for the video
I really like this auqascape. All those layers of place and angels to wiew a see something in the far. I love it. Great great work. I hope I will get to use that as inspiration in the future. 🖖
Wow, Steven Chong is a genius. I love seeing different levels in a tank and I especially love it when there is a path to draw you in. I cannot wait to see your next tank, Ryo. Maybe a Dutch scape?
Thank you Suzanne! Yeah, I really hope I can do a dutch scape soon. I hope to do one in a 60cm aquarium first though. Theres a lot of maintenance and upkeep that goes with having a dutch tank
It was awesome to see and hear #SteveScapes again, like back in the day in Budapest. Now I can hardly wait to see you, Ryo at Green Aqua. In addition, thanks Steve to explain a few tricks of the trade. I really appreciate that. Take care guys, and one day we will meet again. :-)
Just had to thank you Ryo for all the incredible access to Steven Chong and I hope he sets aside some time to get more content on his channel ? Take care of yourself Ryo & the people who have been there for you... use all that you have to get as much as you can....from what I see your easily on your way to having the best & your smart enough to appreciate the opportunities to come and grateful people almost always get the best results 💙🌱🌿 🕛🌎🏅☯️💚
Great stuff Ryo, If I ever settle down, I want to do another tank (living in another part of the world right now). Your channel is like "Info-Tainment..." lol 🙏
I really enjoy seeing you and Steve together, it's always a great conversation and learning experience for me!! Just pointing out the important details about the tank size and the difference it makes. And being able to have an ADA tank!! So much experience and knowledge on aquascaping! I really enjoyed learning about the vision he is creating especially with the holes in the Driftwood and how everything keeps you looking and following the elements of the whole Aquascape...bringing you around. Awesome tip on the DIY painted background!! I still have so much to learn about plants and especially CO2!! That was great about the curtain and how he's created his own little secret room 🤣👍 So many great tips and ideas!! The work of a true artist creating a beautiful masterpiece!! Thanks Ryo for a fun and very interesting video!! Thank you Steve for showing us around!! Thank you guys for sharing 🙏 I hope you guys are having a very blessed day!! 🌿🐟🌿💚🥰
Definetely love Stevens Scapes! I have a question about contests like IAPLC if you don't mind answering, Do you set the tank up at the "Contest Starting Date" or only a year before the submission deadline?
Thanks to both of you for this video, this tank is a masterpiece. I would have loved to know more about the hardscape. We can see at the beginning that white foam looks to have been glued to the left side of the aquarium. It makes me wonder if the left front "stone" is real or some carved foam that has been painted / inked to look like a rock ?
Im thinking about getting some rice fish for a small indoor pond but im not sure how i should go about setting up a good home for them in a smallish container any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated
@@RyoWatanabee nah. I thank you and Steven my mate 👊🏼 I just said the Steve in his video. Some of the things you guys said, made me a lot more confident in my thoughts and actions with my contest tank for next year. Will be my first entry to any competition 🤞🏼
I’ve talked to so many people about not being able to grow the penny wort submerged. Everyone has the same problem. They buy the penny wort which has been Cultivated emerged or above ground, then watch it melt underwater and never come back. Can you ask him Ryo if he just constantly replaces the penny wort for looks only? If not I would like to know the secret to getting it to grow underwater.
Hi, that plant in Steven’s tank is not penny wort. He talks about it in the video during the ‘plants selection’ area in the video. Please look in description :) They are Taiwan lotus
2000-3000$ ??!! that's absolutely crazy. A 120P, optwhite, rimless, 12mm, nicely glued is sold at 470€ here in France. If you want custom dimensions close to that it will be the same price.. The ADA 120P cost 800€
more "diorama" style. more "how to: "Chong style" diorama build. I noticed on the left side of the tank a lot of Styrofoam build up. I've seen Green Aquas' video on the "glue & paper" method of stacking rocks. Can we do more in-depth video of diorama aquascaping?
Prices for something like that in the UK will be £450 to £550 across many different brands (I.e ADA, Aquascaper 1200, Waterbox). You must be lucky to get an optiwhite 120 x 50 x 50 tank for $100.
Thank you so much Steven for showing me your awesome aquarium!!
Subscribe to Stevescapes & let us know what you think about his tank in the comments 😃

Thanks for coming over Ryo- can’t wait to hang out again! ☺️
Thank you, I hope we can eat some bees larvae together again 🐝 😅
@@RyoWatanabee lololol Wasp larvae; my Father in Law says herbivorous bees have terrible tasting meat. You got to go for meat eating species.

Yess my two favorite aquascape vloggers 😭♥️
I enjoyed this so much. Steven is one of my favorite scapers. :)
So good! Thank you for making this Ryo and for sharing all those details without hiding anything Steven. Legend content!
Thanks, that’s an incredible layout for a contest tank! It looks So natural! Plants and hardscape are so well balanced! Love it!

Work on it during the year leading up to the deadline
Thank you very much for the video.
OMG IT'S STEVEN!!
Stunning tank!
Steve’s a awesome scaper 👍what is the driftwood he used in that beautiful tank?
We didn’t mention that but I think he talks about it in his own video. It’s a decorational piece of wood that wasn’t meant to be used in aquariums
@@RyoWatanabee it’s an amazing piece 🥰
Awsome ryo do you always keep ur filters on 24/7 ?
Yeah haha, never turn the filter off or your beneficial bacteria will die
Wow Love the tank 😍

wow amazing fish tank
Yup! Really stunning aquascape
750 USD is cheap for this size -- jealous
my Custom build was 3k and that was at a discount
Love Steve
I got inspired by ryowatanabe 4ft aqua scape tank and now I am setting up the scape that looks like his but in a 2ft tank
How did Steven attach the moss to the wood?
I’m pretty sure he used aquarium glue.

really nice to see his tank... but personally it is not my kind of tank
$750 for a 120p wow! thats what i paid for my 90p
Ok lah not bad

750?..ADA is overpriced. I could get a good one at 100.
Yeah but you’re not going to get 12mm thickness glass and Low iron glass
