- today we'll head over to my neighbours home where he's got a really nice fish room with a cozy vibe. This fish room was once a lively fish store which now the owners son has converted the front half of it into an American hardware equipment store. Hope you enjoy the tour :)

I love random fish room trips, it's always interesting seeing what other people are doing.
Most of those tanks look like they've been running for a lot of years which is super cool.

All kidding aside, yep I agree. It does indeed appear that Ryo's neighbor has the tanks and set-ups dialled down to a tee, most likely from years of dedication, learning, experience and passion for the hobby. :)
@@Cow_Juice The longest I had a tank running was 18 months and it was by far my best tank. Just really, really stable and happy. It must be even better after years.

Yeah, maybe I’ll do a more in depth video of my neighbours tanks if I have the chance. Most of his plants are just crypts and have ferns though.

Love it! Did you ever get any fancy medaka yet? I'd love to see rare ones. They're my favorite fish. I have Emerald Wide Fins at home.
@@ikoyDaPnoy Hey there. I'm not sure about fancy ones but Ryo did mention in one of his more recent videos that naturally occuring medakas (the ones naturally found in rivers and streams) are getting rarer (probably due to human activity).
So in that sense, the ones they keep can be considered rare, I suppose. 😅
@@Cow_Juice True ... I guess I meant fancy medaka that are difficult to attain in areas outside of Japan.
What are you using for filtration or water movement in your tanks? I don’t see any sponge filters
Hey Ryo great video , I’m following for a while now , and I was wondering where did you buy your co2 tanks ( the green ones ) ? I’ve been looking everywhere here in Japan with not luck 😢
You can get them at any liquor store. I get mine at 酒ビーク
