What did you think of all those planted tanks? Check out their exotic Plecos, Cories, Apistos & more! The RAREST PLECOS, CORYDORA & APISTOGRAMMA! Aquarium Tallman ruclips.net/video/1j7BO4yG8ds/видео.html
I love the Japan's culture. There is so much interest in hobbies like these that is mainstream and not just a niche hobby. From gardening to aquascaping to photography ... In all these hobbies, the culture tends to make it an artform as well.
Nice way to take a trip to Japan and see the beautiful aquariums at the store. Love how they scaped so many of their tanks. Truly a labour of love (and cleaning too lol)!
@@RyoWatanabee Man that's 1 awesome fish store, I'd spend HRS in that place looking & thinking about what scape I could do with my 75 gal aquarium, I'm saving this video to look at a few times.
At 9min 35 seconds, the fish that you did not know the name of may be Oryzias songkhramensis. A very small, rare type of Rice Fish. Great video!!!!!! 😊
Man that store is crazy good! They scape the sales tanks! The other amazing thing is that the entire hardscape section is outside in the parking area without any security at all. It's even like that at night. That's something I truly love about Japan!
Dear Ryo, I suggest you to come back to this store and interview the owners to show us the infrastructure to keep all those aquariums. It must be amazing! Thanks.
OMG, Ryo, this store is terrific. Every tank is like a painting. This is not a fish store but definitely an art gallery. I have many new ideas from this awesome video now. Thank you very much.
Your fave plant at 08:38 is a _Monstera_ 'Peru'. It has various disputed names I think, lol. Sometimes it's just called _Monstera_ sp. 'Peru' ("sp." meaning "species"). People will literally say "spuh" or "S. P.", when it just is an abbreviation for "species". Haha.
...And actually, you're not TOO far off by thinking it's a crypt, because both _Cryptocoryne_ and _Monstera_ are aroids. In the Araceae family with philodendrons, pothos, anthuriums, etc. Also Anubias and Bucephalandra!
Their fish tanks are absolutely amazing! Real works of art! And I'd wish their cabinets would be available here in Germany as well. Beautiful *and* practical, just perfect! Thank you for sharing that place with us, @RyoWatanabee!
Amazing talents and planning to set up all these tanks. I have already given up watching telly and watch my aquariums. But this is like a paradise 'watching all day' do nothing days...lol!. Some people just take their passion to next level.
Roy, aside from your Medaka and nano tank videos, this is becoming one of my favourites, after a stressful day's work, this is just so relaxing! and your voice is a good fit I think for your content.
The plant you like at 8:46 is a Monstera sp Peru or Monstera pinnatipartita as a youngster, they look the same when young. Either are very easy to keep.
Hello Ryu 🙂 near from me in an little city, an old shop owner has an Aquarium/Terrarium store that was so incredible, he had full planted tanks with very rare species, Hydrolycus, Arowanas, rare fishes and plecos from all ower the world. The most of them you could not seen because every tank was an green hell. If you had a question-the owner knows it all....today there is an Handy shop inside and the cool stores are in Vienna.... best greets from Austria/Europe, i like your channel!
Thank you Ryo , I agree with you on how easy it would be to have all day to be surrounded by the amazing hardscape selection and from my first time seeing the store on one of the MANY livestreaming videos I have been addicted to the channel. I can't imagine what I would do with the opportunity to shop there and when I see displays after displays using everything that is everywhere in Nature and make each aquarium look like just the one of a kind and uninterrupted works of living ART 🎨
I'm curious about how the co2 system setup that they do on each tank? Cause i don't see any co2 stuff on each tank but the plants growth are amazing and beautiful
Ryo you were right when you said, during the live earlier, that this was going to be an awesome vid. This store is amazing. The fish, the tanks, the plants, the hardscapes and everything else in between is just awesome. One of your best to date Ryo. 😁
Man, so many beautiful tanks. I would literally want to take the whole store home. So lucky to be able to see these tanks. One day I will have to make my way to Osaka. Those crossed CPD's were cool. Absolutely stunning.
Wow! I would spend the whole day there, then feel sad that I can’t take all the goodies back with me to US 😊. Beautiful! Thank you for showing us this store.
What a great store! First note all the hardscape materials are outside .. you need to try that in the netherlands next day everything is gone.. that shows the mentality of the japanese people Happy hollidays🎅🎅 With love from the netherlands and have a great weekend
This is amazing!! We have nothing remotely like this where I live in Michigan. So cool to see how aquascaping is part of the fishkeeping culture there in such a mass appeal way.
I always did well on contents for my Aquarium(USA). But when I see all the product available and on display in Asia, I'm almost ready to come out of retirement on the beach in Mexico and move to Asia to build more Aquariums. But then as I sip my Margarita and watch the sunset, I think NO... I'll just watch Ryo instead. lol 🙏
9:28 my guess is a glass goby??? Maybe more specifically a (Gobiopterus chuno Sumatran Glass Goby)... Ive never seen a more beautiful store un my life, absolutely stunning content my friend 😍 i was drooling looking at that wood selection 😋 wow 11:14 thats a dope setup 👌 and the two under are spectacular 👌 13:28 now thats my kind of tank with those killifish.... yessssss! You need to buy a pair of those killifish brother, those are so dope 👌
I don’t see CO2 in the tanks, but the plants are quite lush. Do they have a CO2 supply or are these tanks simply filtered and planted? I would LOVE to know how they achieve their balanced tanks. Will definitely check out their channel, but if you have any information I would love to hear it.
Every and each one of those tanks.. Just wow.. If i didn't read the title of this video, i thought you went to some aquascaping contest instead of fish store!
The tetras that you cant remember the name of are called Reed tetras. They only get about an in size. I have a school of 10 in my 15 gallon. They look really good with black neons. The store sold them as Kitty tetras, but the Reed tetras have a white fourth fin near the tail. This store is a league above with the time and effort they take to scape the tanks with fish for sale and not just display tanks. I’m going next time I’m in Osaka.
Discovering this video and your channel. This is beyond amazing! I'll watch other videos of course, let's hope you made an interview or deep dive with the owner.
I think those very small fish you couldn't identify from the show tank might be something from the Craterocephalus genus from Australia and New Guinea, they're freshwater and brackish silversides distantly related to rainbowfish.
the small fish is danionella if you get your hands on it breed them they dont get a lot of colour only iridescent greenish but it is an amazing fish and you can even shove 8 of them in a 3 gallon
The plant on 8:40 is Monstera Sp. Peru. It’s not scientifically described yet and was formerly known as Monstera Karstenianum (which is a false name) in the plant trade.
ADA makes some really great aquariums. My next tank is going to be an ADA 60P with a clear lid to keep my rocket tails from juping out. Oh wow! A water wall! I've dreamed of having one of those for my entire life. Next time I go see my friend in Kansai, I will have to make a special trip to Osaka to go see this store. Definitely a thumbs up for you, and for the store! Spend hours watching, and millions buying.
What place did their tanks get in the 2022 contest? Is wood sticking out of the tank a high ranking scape? The store had a lot of cool looking scapes. So I can feel bad about US train travel, how long did your trip to Osaka take by train, is it quit a bit faster than by car?
I will absolutley be going myself! such a cool store! there is a animal hospital with a amazing aquarium section in kofu yamanashi that I went to, but this one blows it out of the park!
such an amazing video and amazing store. wish i can visit it one day. minor note 22:10, it's a crystal red shrimp. not a cherry shrimp :) keep up the awesome work! wish i can get back into aquascaping, maybe one day
This makes me want to move to Osaka. Almost all the cool independent aquarium shops have been driven out of business here in the U.S. by the big corporate chain stores.

@14:28 Ammania gracilis
I was curious about all the Eheim classic canister filters on the floor under the racks?
Love, love the aquascapes!
Bravo from Romania
Brother you have asthma 😢

The unknown plant @8:45 likely Monstera karstenianum (aka M. "Peru"), same family as Crypts and Buce!
this store looks like heaven
At 9min 35 seconds, the fish that you did not know the name of may be Oryzias songkhramensis. A very small, rare type of Rice Fish. Great video!!!!!! 😊
This is another level, you guys in Japan are really lucky to have such places to visit.
Thank you so much for sharing beautiful scapes, plants, hobby but most Japan!!!
Man that store is crazy good!
They scape the sales tanks!

Ya you just can't pull off an open unguarded area like that in America. It'll get stolen or vandalized for sure. Maybe some parts of Hawaii or Guam.
@@ikoyDaPnoy Same just about everywhere I can think of to be honest.
Amazing shop. Thank you for showing it to us. The unknown plant at 8:40 is a monstera karstenianum
That red plant at 14:31 looks like it could be alternanthera reineckii// Scarlet temple? This store is amazing!
Dear Ryo, I suggest you to come back to this store and interview the owners to show us the infrastructure to keep all those aquariums. It must be amazing! Thanks.

Rio doing what Rio does best again..... reviewing Aquarium stores. Keep it up.
That's the most amazing aquashop I have ever seen. Thanks for showing! Wish we had this in Sweden.
Ryo, # 1 fish store tour for 2022.... Thank you from NYC
I’m in awe…the cabinets are so beautiful.
Roy, aside from your Medaka and nano tank videos, this is becoming one of my favourites, after a stressful day's work, this is just so relaxing! and your voice is a good fit I think for your content.
that store is amazing. that owner very pro, the balance of heavy stuck fish & plant.
also i love that layout with the immerse
Thank you for this. The aquascapes and fish look world class. If i could get a Tallman cabinet shipped to the USA I 100% would, amazing!!!
What an amazing store. Really appreciate your high resolution close ups of fish/details etc.
The plant you like at 8:46 is a Monstera sp Peru or Monstera pinnatipartita as a youngster, they look the same when young. Either are very easy to keep.
Cool to see the red shiners there! I'm a NA native fish breeder and keeper so that's right up my alley! 🤙
Yeah, I really wanted some of those!
Too bad I’m lessening the amount of tanks I keep. Recently also started finding Alabama rainbow shiners.
Rainbow shiners are one of the species I breed! They are truly beautiful 😍
Hi Ryo
Do you know what is the fertilizing routine and which ferts they use in all this tanks??
Ryo, Thank you for doing these store tours. I'm always impressed with the quality of your videos.

Yep, 5 line barb or pentazona barbs. Very peaceful barb. I have them in with neon tetras with no issues.

Wow what an amazing store. Thanks for sharing.
Great video, keep them coming!
Thats an amazing shop! How do they get to grow their plants like that without c02!
They’re definitely injecting co2 somehow. I think they might be using inline diffusers
Lovely store. Amazing scapes and that hardscape selection! I dislike those tiny beta cubes. never liked how betas are treated in a lot of shops.
AMAZED!!! LOVE THE TOUR
crazy. i cant catch any fish in my planted tanks. i just leave em. always have to almost completely tear down the tanks when i want to move fish!😮
Beautiful … Job well done 👏.
Do you know if the planted tanks for sale?
Wow, i have never been to Fish Shop in Japan previously.
I'm so jealous. Wish we had a store like that in BC, Canada
Beautiful!!! Thank You for bringing it to me here in Los Angeles (Hollywood) California.
Good vlog, keep going mate!!
Are all those nano tanks without co2? They look amazing
It looks like they use dirt under the substrate on some of those, very interesting technique.
I am adding this stop to my itinerary in my next trip to Japan.
Ryo, minute 33:34 is desmopuntius rhomboocellatus or u can call it rhombo barb or snakeskin barb
Cool, so much style of aquasca
