Been a subscriber for a very long time and i have to say i have always loved your fish room and channel and i still do. Its up in my top 10 channels of all time. Thanks for all the help and information you have given us threw the years. Thanks for sharing
This is goals!!! I’m currently in the middle of documenting and doing videos on turning my outdoor 12x20 shed in to my very own fish room!! Thank you for the motivation!! God bless you!
For a while I've admired the style of your fish room, the decor, lights etc. You've done a great job with the details that don't really matter a great deal but I think it makes a difference. Looks like a cool place to be 😎🤘
Nice to see more plants in the fish room, They make the tanks look a lot better and help make it easier to take care of most of the time. Great video Zenzo!
Enjoyed the tour. If you are experimenting with brackish water you might take a look at orange chromids (sp?) a beautiful ciclid like fish, if you can find them. I had them in the 80's. They are easy to breed.
Glad to see the mud skippers are still terrorizing the room. When you said, some fish were gone, I got a little worried. BTW the babies in you hospital tank should be moved down to the empty planted tank. Likely plenty for them to snack on down there.
Thanks for the tour, lots of cool things going on in your fish room. I believe you said you have some Amano shrimp in a brackish tank. Have you been able to raise any of the larval Amanos to adulthood in that thank?
No. I think it’s because the salinity isn’t high enough. Or, if they have had babies, they would have gotten eaten my the mudskippers or bumblebee gobies.
i work for a petstore and we just got in a whole bunch of sterbai corys as juliis and we are selling them as juliis at lower julii prices, im thinking about getting another tank and getting them they are awesome fish
Hello! just new to your channel and i love it.....been thinking to keep cichlids for the first time... can i ask can i keep cichlids in a 15 gal tank? If i can, how many?
You can keep certain types of dwarf cichlids in a 15 gallon tank (like a mating pair of apistogramma or some shell dwellers). Make sure that whatever cichlid you choose is a dwarf species that is suitable for a small tank.
I made the backgrounds using expanding foam and concrete. I have a few videos on my channel that show how I made this one. I have never tried banana leaves...I am guessing they are ok.
Thanks! As for the sponge filters, you can stack one on top of the other to create more surface area for filtration. The Aquarium Co-Op sponges can snap together to form taller filters.
Hey Zenzo, I’m a big fan of the 60 breeder tank. I have one myself that houses my trio of African butterfly fish that I hope to breed in the future. I’m just wondering if you think the easy flow would create too much flow for them. Right now the 60 is filtered by two large co-op sponge filters and has been running great, but I do get a bit of mulm build up from the lack of flow, which the ABF really enjoy. Can’t wait to see what comes next for you this year.
What rock are you using amongst your cichlid stones for that look? I love it and I have cichlid stones so would want to replicate it or something similar
Hey bro love the video, Im starting an African tank and I need your help. How does 2 Calvus cichlids, 2 Julies, 1 Leopard bush fish, 1 bristle nose pleco, and 1 petricola catfish sound for a 40G Breeder tank.
Lovely. Zenzo, pls can you tell me how do u manage that one tank which u use for multiple purposes like hospital, quarantine and raising fry as once you put medicine I think you can't put fry till the medicine is completely taken off
A few hours per week. I’d say on average I spend 4 hours per week on maintenance. Sometimes less, sometimes more. It probably averages out to around 4 hours though (which would include the 4 tanks in the house too).
Just off topic question :) my yellow lab cichlid is holding now for about 20 days. Would you know how long it takes them to spit the fry out? Thank you. Love your videos !
@@TazawaTanks this is off topic but I’ve been looking into getting dry rock for my cichlid tank, does dry rock raise ph? Or maintain it? Any benefit from it?
@@MiniMonsters508 Dry rock will help with buffering and keeping the water parameters in the range of what African cichlids prefer (because it’s coral).
I'm gonna be honest. Soon as the video started I immediately thought: that shirt looks cool. But when you started saying that you wanted to thank a sponsor, I almost skipped forward and wouldn't have known that your sponsor is the company that makes that shirt. I think that if you had said something like "If you like this shirt I'm wearing you can visit our sponsor and..." it would be more likely that people like me that usually skip forward would know that your sponsor is selling the cool shirt we're seeing. Especially since this is an aquarium channel and it's reasonable to expect a sponsor to have nothing to do with a cool samurai shirt 😅 I might actually get it though, really cool looking shirt.
You gave away your Turkana Jewels? For shame......booo! (hahaha) I have been looking for some of those, jealous someone else got them. Africans are also a favorite of mine....thank you for the show.

The African mudskippers are still my favorite. The Aquarium CoOp neon sign looks so nice!
I love how the plants are growing out in the 60 breeder with the puffers!

A garage with 1 car and 2 motorbikes, a gym, and a giant fishroom, yes mom, I decided it, I wanna be tazawa when I grow up
There’s 2 cars in the garage
Thank you for the videos .

Always love a Tazawa fish room tour!! My favorites are your Indian and African Mudskipper tanks!❤❤

Great to see someone who’s into fish, cars and weightlifting like me! Keep the work up

Always great to see a new full tour of your fishroom! Feels lile every inch has been optimized and reoptimized 😮
Awesome fish room! Thanks for sharing.
you are so blessed wow what a beautiful fish room, id be in heaven playing sea of thieves on that computer watching the fish while sailing lol😅
Really good video, nicely done!! Mudskippers are still my favorite 😍
I had some caudopunks in my tanganika tank. The turf wars between them and multis were so fun to watch.
Thanks for the tour. I’m still cycling my tank. So it’s nice to see fish swimming.

This is amazing. Dream fish room for me!
actually recognize some of your tanks, very impressed with this years tour. ( way better than last years tour ) Thanks
It’s looking GREAT Zenzo!
I was wondering when you are going to do a tour. I've always admired your set ups
and your presentations. Keep on keeping on bro. Stay blessed.
The fish room is looking great. Thanks for sharing.
Mabunas must stay part of the channel Bro!

Not only is your fish room badass but the shirt is as well.

Could you use a giant sponge covering the whole bottom of the tank as a substrate? Would that be a good idea or no
hi Zenzo, I truly enjoy your fish room. just wondering if you have ever thought of expanding your fish room into the gym area
No. If anything I’d shrink the fishroom and expand the gym. 😜
Wow man! Sharp looking fish room! Wait, did I spot a Ducati V4?
SF V2 and Multistrada 1200S. 😊
Keep all your fish, they are stunning and I promise you will regret giving them up.
I like that tshirt dude!
Thanks for the tour. What materials did you use to make your own rocks cape and what are your thoughts on banana leaves in a brackish water aquarium?
I made the backgrounds using expanding foam and concrete. I have a few videos on my channel that show how I made this one. I have never tried banana leaves...I am guessing they are ok.
Thank you
Just awesome great job Respect
tanks look good!
What do you mean by dual stacked sponge filters? Nice garage by the way! Lots of fun toys in there.
Thanks! As for the sponge filters, you can stack one on top of the other to create more surface area for filtration. The Aquarium Co-Op sponges can snap together to form taller filters.

I think it will be just fine. You can always turn the air down f needed, but most likely it will be just fine.

Have you ever been to Glass Aqua? They are a shop in SF I believe.
It doesn’t ring a bell. I’ve been to Aqua Forest here in SF if that’s what you were thinking of?
Do you know any places where we can buy the co-op sponge filters in Europe ?

What kind of Apistogramas? I have never seen ones that are primarily blue.
hey ive been struggling to find good information on mixing male and female peacocks. do you have a video with info on the topic?
Lovely. Zenzo, pls can you tell me how do u manage that one tank which u use for multiple purposes like hospital, quarantine and raising fry as once you put medicine I think you can't put fry till the medicine is completely taken off
I just do a water change and clean the filters and let it sit for a few days/weeks depending on what was in there.
@@TazawaTanks Oh ok. That's what I thought. Thanks so much.
Hey i have a Question, are dwarf mudskippers toxic? Im looking to get 3 or 4 in a 40+ gallon tank.
How much time does it take you in maintenance to keep those tanks looking so good?
A few hours per week. I’d say on average I spend 4 hours per week on maintenance. Sometimes less, sometimes more. It probably averages out to around 4 hours though (which would include the 4 tanks in the house too).
i thought my 15 gallon is a lot of work, if i had to maintain all those tanks i'd lose my mind
Where'd you buy your Salousis? They're hard to come by these days
I got them as a group of like 8 juveniles at my local fish club a few years ago. I got them for $2 each!
@@TazawaTanks That's a steal!
Just off topic question :) my yellow lab cichlid is holding now for about 20 days. Would you know how long it takes them to spit the fry out?
Thank you. Love your videos !
I have found that it happens around 26-30 days.
Thank you so much my friend
How many times a week do you sand vac since you’re running on sponges?
I rarely gravel vacuum, and only in certain tanks.
@@TazawaTanks this is off topic but I’ve been looking into getting dry rock for my cichlid tank, does dry rock raise ph? Or maintain it? Any benefit from it?

Great update tour. Thank you!
How did you get your Easy Flow to do output in two directions?
I have multiple sponge filters in many of my tanks, so two Easy Flows. :)
wife aggro, not good, lol Sounds like you've been super busy, thanks for the video. Have a wonderful weekend.
