I was getting worried that there would be no space or water left for fish but, then when I saw the finished scape, I was BLOWN AWAY! Whoever set up this scape is a true artiste! Good on you!
I love how the aquascape turned out. Adding those fine details such as the twigs and branches certainly made the aquascape much more interesting and natural. Great job!!
What a beautiful creation! Im a beginner in this field and i wish to learn more from you. I wish i have your creativity. Thanks for this wonderful video. God bless.
I love the fact that you guys aren't afraid to show that you mix substrate products. The scape turned out nice, I really like the path and false paths with MC instead of sand. Not sure I like the added twigs, or maybe there are just too many
Exiting to see a new video from AG. This looks so nice. Let's hope it will not be too long before we can visit again. I agree that Special Ingredients are essential for a good tank setup.
Great from start to finish Dave , to me your skills @ planning your scapes are IMO World class ! All your setups that are on here or George Farmers channel never show signs that it's time to reset. Whatever you do ?? I wish I knew 😂 . If you were @ Interzoo then I can't wait to see all the TROPICA scapes .... 💚💙
I feel like the whole planted aquarium thing is just one big marketing scheme, like introducing to smoking in high school. My fishes finished all their foods. The bottom of the tank stay sparky clean. My hang on household plants eliminated ammonia and algae. @@condorX2 think how much money you can save if you just don't buy an aquarium , you can just watch videos on youtube isnt that fun??. you can save on fish, water, fake decorations, time. i'm being sarcastic by the way.
@@juscallmej Heh. I do both. I build a self cleaning aquarium, where I don't have to do anything. Then I look for planted aquarium videos to watch on my old CRT TV. @@condorX2 personally whether bare bottom works or not, to me it looks horrible and unnatural. I’ve always felt that way even with Saltwater. Sure there can be pros, but I’d rather spend the time and money to maintain a beautiful tank, bc at the end of the day it’s a hobby. The “work” you put into it should be enjoyable. That’s why we do it. Cheers
@@TruTxn82 Well you need to get creative with bare bottom. I use those transparent tiny suction cups to hold my plants underwater. The reasons I did that is because I hate gravel vac. The other reason is for experiment. I wanna see how many uneaten foods get drops down and I'll know much I should put the next time. My final reason to see how effective is my self cleaning filter would work for my specic tank. The level of water flow need to be perfect. If the current is to strong, the water will pushed the poop away. This is why people have so much poop in their bare bottom, but I masters it. The other important thing many missed is that rocks and other obstacles will blocked the poop from moving. My fishes help clean the poops by pushing it with their mouths without a wave maker. I'm constantly testing new build to get that perfect setting. That's the fun part because I'm not using cookie cutter like everyone else.
very well filmed and great music... i love watching this while high its so relaxing and pleasing to see the finished product, looking great! :) well done

I request an aquarium! I think it would be an AWESOME aquascape if you were to create sort of a volcano in the center or corner of a large square tank, and use only red plants (or plants that grow to BE red) , wood that looks red or orange, and lots of red and orange and yellow rocks placed about the tank. The setup in this video is SO beautiful!
Very well made, beautiful scape. Not sure about using those tiny roots in the front - i'd consider adding them on the rear for additional perspective. Planting would be a bit easier with pre-sprinkled soil but you managed doing it without it. Anyway, very enjoyable effect!
The aquascaping tutorial you made is super inspiring. Pretty magical 'scape. The technique of starting the foundation of the elevated corners with volcanic mineral, does that serve a specific ecological or mechanical function? Similarly, adding the power sand as a second layer, was the for function or style? Would it have been deleterious to have built up the whole foundation and substrate with just aquasoil? Sorry for the ignorant questions, but I am still learning the aquascaping hobby. Looking forward to watching more creations from you!
Looks awsome. Question about hydrocotile verticilata. You placed them in the front. Ive just planted some and they grow to the sky. How will you manage them and can you just cut and trim it back.
Very beautiful aquascape. One possible improvement in the video could be if you include more information on the plants (how tall they get, wether they can come out of the surface, the lighting and co2 conditions, etc) apart from the botanical names of course. This may make your video more beginner-friendly.
this setup is really nice 👍👍👍 I am just wondering the purpose of placing so many dragon stones in the background whereby the plants are going to cover all of them as I am sourcing for ideas for my net project 🙏
when the planting was finished, i was like ah, okay, this will look fine.. what the plants had done in less than 2 months just left me speachless!
That is what CO2 does !!!

Probably the best aquascape I've seen yet
You just showed us how to create Heaven on earth! Thank you.
I cannot believe this!!! 3 weeks growth and 6 week growth just made me dropped my jaws... wow !!!
So beautiful, like an underwater woodland. The variety, shape, scale and colours of the planting are magical. You have a beautiful eye for detail.
A great design, and so much work involved... plants so spotless and algae free... hat off
