?how are you not more famous? I just watched this for my first video and liked n subbed before halfway through, love you're work, love the quality, love the music, love the detail and attention to detail
I love to look at hard scapes...but to use large volume of wood or rocks spells more work cleaning. Also....I always wonder if a person has to, at least once in a while, take up the rocks especially and vacuum underneath them. I think it's challenging to stay original when it comes to rock and wood.....tanks start to all look basically alike.
To soak the wood, mainly. It’s also easier to plant when substrate and wood has had a good soak. And we could test the filter and CO2 equipment in advance prior to planting 👍
Amazing video and channel ! I love this video in particular. I've watched many times, I like to have it on in the background when I'm working or just trying to relax. The music selection is awesome. What is the name of the second track, starting at around the 3:19 mark ? Dying to know !
So much was said and conveyed with no commentary! That's so refreshing!
The design is meticulously prepared by the hands of those who do the health truly spectacular
One of your strongest scapes so far Dave keep it up
Thank you! 😊
New starter have a look at my tank !! @ Suggestions welcome !! thanks for the awesome vid !!
I love the way Dave does the scape...👍👍😊
It is very dynamic composition, but the arrangement of aquatic plants is delicate and wonderful
Stunning the under water gallery.... art underwater
Awesome video dave. Love this tank.
Glad to see arcuata and costata finally used in a scape! 2 of my favorites.
Indeed, under used!
Love the look of the manzanita wood; however, I soaked some and it imediately stained the water dark brown. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry for set up.
Great work, Dave! Excellent scape and informative tutorial, all well produced.
🙏
Beautiful layout Dave, love the knarled Manzanita. It will look great once settled in and filled out.All the best,Martin
Thanks Martin 🙏 agreed it’s my favourite wood!
Great scape. I love ADA ferts, but they are expensive. I find the plants grow healthy, but slower than other ferts. Looking forward to the update.
So lovely aquascape

Very nice and informative and congratulations on the expansion of the business.

May I ask why you filled the tank then emptied the next day to plant rather than doing it all at once? Thanks :)
It's to let the wood soak overnight he say it in the video :)
To soak the wood, mainly. It’s also easier to plant when substrate and wood has had a good soak. And we could test the filter and CO2 equipment in advance prior to planting 👍

according to Shazam: Luwaks / Sjangeli
I'm going to follow this layout. The wood is so big that it creates a shade, can the water plants grow well there?
Love this mike
Nice!!
The ADA range you use, they don’t contain phosphate. So do you add that separately? At all, I was under the impression plants need phosphate
Phosphate is in the soil - ADA AMazonia
Possible contender for my favourite scape in your showroom 🤔 need to get down the road and see these amazing tanks in the flesh though!!
Welcome anytime! :)
a true masterpiece
Great job on the tank. But it's probably full of ammonia because of the substrate and additives. How do you control algae?
Thanks! Weekly large water changes, dense planting (lots of healthy plants =less algae), high and consistent CO2 👍
Amazing set up
Hi,I'm from Indonesia
When you are filling the tank what technique are you using?
very nice....
do you have to rinse the soil before putting it in the aquarium? i usually do that but here it comes straight out of the bag.
Very beautiful tank💗💗💗
Very cool skils bro keep it up =)
To quote South Park, “F*CKA YOU GOLDEN RATIO! F*CKA YOU RULE OF THIRDS!” You somehow pulled off a symmetrical aquarium, very well done.
Hi just a quick question I now this is a old video but how much did it all cost to do,was it expensive.
What filter did you use Dave please.
❤❤❤❤
It would be really helpfull if any one can guide about watts of led light needed as per tank size.
very cool
Lovely video thank you
Nice tutorial...
Cheers Tim!
Do you do aquascaping events or workshops
very good job !
Hi,what kind of filter model do you use ?
Oase Biomaster 250 Thermo
Very detail 👌
Beautiful
Excelente video
Lovely setup, that atledtis light looks stunning. Do you sell the module alone? Because the cookie+ is out of stock
👏🏻👌😊
The support to the lamp, what's its ?
Do any of the plants bloom
Such a great channel. Always helpful! What liquid fertilisers do you use in your tanks?
This tank we’re using ADA fertilizers. Most other tanks we use TNC or The Aquascaper 👍
Great
No dosing Co2?
CO2 in-line diffusion 👌
what kine of co2 diffuser do you use ?
Inline CO2 diffuser www.aquariumgardens.co.uk/inline-co2-aquarium-diffuser-for-1216mm-hose-3361-p.asp
